Hello guys i have strange battery issues. Sometimes the phone wont go over 65%. I staus there forever.
But if i restart in recovery then it revharges without problems.
Im on latest epic rom. And yes i have already flashed with complete wipe but nothing.
Try out stock rom and resurrection remix to see if the problem persists. You might need a new battery if it's still like this after you try those roms.

Never happened to me though. I was always been using Epic(MM ones). Perhaps it's because of doze applications etc, do you use kind of battery saver/wakelock blocker apps?

Hello Community!
I've got a problem with my Galaxy Ace. I've installed the latest CM7 nightly (2012-10-14) and installed CronMod INT2EXT+ script.
In addition i've installed the newest Firekernel (2012-10-09) OC, official.
I've encountered a problem while using Bluetooth. With enabled Bluetooth the phone won't go into Deep Sleep mode. Is it a Kernel problem, or has it something to do with CM7?
Hoping to find a solution for my problem.
Cheers
Alex
Hello
I have the same problem
Did you find a solution ?
Maybe it's normal behaviour ?

I installed stocklite v7.1 and no deep sleep problem.
I'll try to find from were comes the problem in the following days.
I'll update you
Stock CM Kernel
I've just tried the stock CM7 Kernel, but also no Deep Sleep while Bluetooth is enabled.
The rom with wich i encoutered this problem is based on cm7.
Maybe we are not alone in this case but nobody else care about it.

Jep, i think so too.. I am not allowed (min. 10 posts) to post in the DEV section till now...
I've bought a SmartWatch, but without Bluetooth connection it's not that smart but i dont want to charge my Phone every day... And also Stock for the Ace is not really an option for me... I prefer CM7...

You should try Stocklite 7.1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703094
It has a very good battery life
I added int2ext+ to extend internal memory to sdcard
adrenaline engine to speed up the phone
firekernel
and ICS MOD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926596
now my rom is pretty close to CM7

Okay, seems to be a nice combination of mods...
But Firekernel with a Stock ROM? Is everything working properly then (WiFi, Bluetooth)?

Like a charm
I tried many roms, for me its the best in terms of battery life/reactivity (i don't play games).
I had strange behaviour after installing one of those mods (on don't remember wich one) but after a restart everithing is ok.
In this configuration mi battery is at 60% after a day of work (about 12 hours), my average use is half an hour of call, bluetooth always on and connected during one hour, wifi and 3g always on.
I use Juice defender but never compared with and without
Nice, but when i tried the ROM yesterday i was not able to see my SmartWatch...
Neither with the ROMs Kernel, nor with the Firekernel... I tried only the ROM without any modification but also the same result!
I was able to connect to my Notebook and to other Phones but i was not able to see my Smartwatch.
Very strange behavior and i don't know why... My Notebook and other Phones could connect to the Watch... Now i switched back to CM7 and it's working again...

Yes, I tried it but it's not working for me either... Damn Deep Sleep problem...
On my Xperia U I avoided updating my phone because everyone here said it would wipe everything off it. Is that the same with this update or is it just like updating an app?
Also what's new in it and are there any bugs?
nothing will happen, just some bug fixes and customizable status bar
I totally lost wifi on this update... Did not make me a happy person
Just unlock BL and install CM10.1

Thanks for tip, but I will stick with stock ROM. 90% of guys who used CM run into issues with IMEI/SN and I don't need that. Btw, I find out that M$ Exchange was the culprit along with Launcher from Nexus 5.
Getting rid of them my phone is perfect now. battery is down to 58% after 20 hours of usage, so happy now...
Does any one have any idea if there a stable custom out there that has absolutely no network problem?

Almost every single ROM here is stable enough for daily uses, use one of them that suits you, don't need to think about Network Issues.
i prefer custom ROM based MIUI just like Xiaomi Eu / MiuiPRO / MiuiGlobe in your case for network
Use rr Luis, using it for months no problem faced, good customisation and battery backup, use clarity v2.0 custom kernel for good battery backup

Oh. I never faced that problem, neither many of us. So I can't help with the matter. If you still want to use custom ROMs, try RR Luis build as the upper one said or try another one, if the problem still exists and you still want to use custom ROM, then contact the developer with proper details. Or change to MIUI based ROM, as the upper one said.
*Also try to flash the latest firmware.
Ya looks like im the only one facing this problem such a bummer it is. Thanks for the reply though

Hi , sorry this might be off topic, but does anyone know if it would be possible to port any Redmi note 4 Rom Official or Cutom, to the PPTV King 7 device? As this has the same chip and is practically the same. I would really love to learn how to port Roms from one device to another, but have only flashing Rom experience.
If anyone knows if iit in fact this would be possible to do and any starting points, please can you pm me.
Again sorry if i have butted into this thread off topic.
TY..=]

Use Nos oreo
Hi!
I recently bought an Mi A2, even though I knew of his problem history. I just wanna know if it's still dangerous to buy and update the Mi A2, because that's what I did and now I'm a little afraid of losing it. (Because of the problems you already know)
And also, if it is not safe to update, I was advised to use the MiUI ROM in it. About this advise, what do you guys think?
Sorry for the Google Translator's English and thanks in advance.
What problem exactly??

If you are prepared to do flashing, I recommend havoc instead of converting to MIUI. Latest version has minimal bugs (Netflix not working if you don't flash permissive zip). Problem with slow memory is also fixed in this rom, dt2w works, no screen bleeding issues, quick charge works.

This just happened to me man. Im not sure if id recommend this phone again...
I have been using the 6GB and 4GB variant the day it was launched because our parent company is LOOP telecom china and staff brings phones with them from china and till now i have no problem except software update bugs , the phone is designed very diligently .
Although there isnt much development for A2 as compare to A1 yet A2 is the best designed smartphone after moto z slim.
I love slim phones and loving A2.
Is anyone else facing the same.
Found some related issues in miui forums.
Somehow enabling auto brightness on miui 11 caused massive battery drain over time. Battery life was okay after disabling it
Same here, at random my brightnes goes to the lowest setting.
I have no issues with battery drain.
Same over here, but in my case if I put on auto, the brightness goes always to the max and if change manually it doesn't change. I already factory reset but it didn't resolved it, I'll probably rollback to miui 10 until a new update to miui 11
I'm going to havoc now
