Chance Of Lineage OS

Is there any chance of getting at least Unofficial Lineage OS rom for our Honor 5C? Since Lineage OS team is asking people to comment their device name and model no. so that they can provide unofficial version. Official is not possible since Cyanogenmod blog didn't support Honor 5C officially. Here is the link, do check it : http://www.lineageosrom.com/2016/12/official-lineage-os-request-list-for.html
It would be great if we get a Lineage OS rom for Honor 5C.

It is difficult to give a 100% accurate answer, no dev is showing interest to bring lineage

Yes that's the main issue. No development support is there for Honor 5C. Bt Honor 8 being a kirin device got good development support.

That's because honor is focusing on honor 8 more than any device

if the cm build gets built and made stable then it would be easy to port it over. but thats gonna take a while

Exactly, the build up process is the hardest part to support a device, once there's a stable ROM, you'll a wave of others coming

No please. It may Brick the phone. Go with the ROMs available in ROM section for 5C.

Elite, arsenik or LOS

@Meticulus with CM14.1 & RR released builds 5-Nov-2017 for P9 lite/
I flashed it on my NMO-L31C636B152 (4.1.2 eMiu)
Trick is that I flashed OEM VNS-L21 before flashing RR
NO RIL/ Single sim works/data/ calls
If I flash with NMO-L31 OEM, I will end up with RR boot without Signal from simcard.

I don't have any update :crying: it's for that i want to debrand to C432

I'm on C432 and the upgrade page on my P10 says that B113 is the latest version!

Downloading the firmware will not help for you, because it can't be installed without authentication from Huawei's servers. Furthermore, even if it were to be installed, your phone is a different branding, which means that various functions like System Update, themes, and other things would cease to work.
Once there is TWRP available for this phone, hopefully soon, I think more things will be possible.

@duraaraa It would be nice if you share the firmware and the work will be done earlier maybe.

Why not just use one of the firmwares on Huawei's public server to do the work, like this one?

They can't be flashed form SD card like old Huawei phones, because of new security Huawei has implemented as of EMUI 5.

I know, I tried to flash with fastboot(boot, recovery& system), and it didn't works. *My bootloader is unlocked.

@psytroniks I just went to their costumerspage at the bottom of the linked page there's a e-mail link, just tap it and ask for a bootloader code.
It might take 2 or 3 days before you get it.

Restore the stock ROM, do a factory reset, then go into fastboot and run "fastboot relock xxxxxxxxxxxx".

NO way to receive unlock code from EU country
Hi, guys the is some big changes on EMUI site. When you try to register there are missing all EU countries and in phone number prefixes too ! So this mean there is no fu.. way to receive unlock code. Go guys find a real hack to unlock our phones!

You can still get the code using DC-Unlocker, it just costs you 4 euros to get it.. still, better than not at all.

I am a rooted stock rom user, till now i didnt get any theme stopped working error.

Due to budget constraint, i purchased Honor 7X.

I have a new honor 9 lite and right now huawei support will not give you the unlock bootloader code
And I don't think there is any other methode than that one
If you know something it may help a lot of people that are in the same situation

But we couldn't find any beta rom for pra devices

if there is no risk to broken frp and bootloader, I will think about it to make treble roms or I'll wait the beta version for c432.

How can i restore to Emui 5? Afaik the partition layout has changed since Oreo. Can someone tell me is it possible to revert to Nougat :/

Have you tried this rom? Does it have any major bug? Was it laggy? Did you have problems with sim card?

We are interested in bringing the rom of this device to everyone but unfortunately we do not find anywhere the Chinese firmware for the Pra. If someone lives in China and has this device please contact us so that we can put a firmware Oreo all available at all stable for every day with treble

Not have play store, but is compatible with Treble and for this you can install Phh's image (not tested)

I have c432, I asked the question befor instalation to make sure i can restor But i have a problem :/ I did all as stated in 1st post and in the recovery it says Software install failed, update package doesnt exist, I'm sure have upddate package in /data/update/HWOTA/update.zip , the command is spelled right,and it still doesnt allow me flashing the update :/

Were these models you couldn't unlock? Us997 latest TWRP is 3.2.x it does have orangefox but it doesn't say what sources they use. What's the biggest difference between TWRP and this? Also the v20/g5 are pretty close to this, I think there were some orphaned unlockable v20s at least. Either way protects like this are neat and I appreciate the effort even if it doesn't help me. Also does it have kdzwriter like the TWRP builds?

Umm mobile bank software, you can use it with Magisk hide or Google safetynet pat h
