Build is solid, feels expensive and not cheap plastic feel, buttons are flawless and have a satisfying click and does not rattle or feel loose
yes no doubt build is good
Even if the build quality is good, it's often the internal components that fail eventually, namely the battery, Soc (for heavy users) and sensors. I'm about to ask people how long they've had their le 2 phones. Watch out for that. I hope I get many responses.
Sent from my Ulefone Vienna using XDA Labs
build it good..very
Great materials
Good design according to the launch date, well treated aluminum, clean screen (it is easy to clean fingerprints).
Solid build, smooth as butter display
Using as primary phone since last 2.5 years, currently on pixel experience ROM and the experience is mixed mostly due to the heating when browsing. Battery drain is higher on pixel exp OS. Otherwise the phone is solid on build quality as well as the display and more than value for money.
Even at 3 years after it's launch date, this phone still catches the attention of other people since it isn't available in the Philippine market. Even though that is the case, people who've held my device without the case felt like it was a great phone especially with an aluminum back which feels so good in the hands. They were shocked with the price, at only 90 dollars. They were like, "How?" so, conclusion... It is a very solid phone with good materials and superb build quality

Don't take the back cover off very often. My phone didn't make the creak noises like other plastic phones when it was new.
I am very happy with the phone. It feels solid. Yes the back is plastic, but it comes off and goes back on easily and feels good. The only negative I would say is the speaker used, I purchased the Prime version but even if I had bought the full priced one for $100 I really could not have asked for a nicer phone. I will happily recommend this phone.
Solid feel to the buttons. Back comes off nicely, but can be hard to snap back on without using force. Screen glass scratches VERY easily! Buy a screen protector/case as soon as you can!

Since the build quality of this device is awful, and for the money of this device you can get even A samsung j5 2016 what has a metal bar on the sides of the phone. I don't know how, but yesterday I put my phone "under" (close to) a pillow and sit on it for ~3 seconds. After I took it out, the phone was LITERALLY bent! Now the back of the phone is "curved". I still don't know how it works, but I seriously need to buy a new phone since this survived many disasters(extreme overheating, water submerge, bend)
But how I said, this device feels very cheap in the hand, like just a plastic brick that you can bend anytime.
Falled on soft surface and needed loudspeaker replacement.. Very bad quality

I think it feels great especially for the price, build quality is not too far from Apple level. My unit has one minor imperfection - volume rocker bottom part is slightly less protruding than top, but the difference is pretty small.
The look and feel is really good and the build quality is awesome for the price range as usual Nokia phones get.
The software updates are really fast but the storage is not enough.
I have used Samsung Evo pro class 10 64GB memory card as adoptive storage. Now no issues with storage.
Logo falling off
Look and feel is great when new. Although the aluminium body seems very sensitive to scratches. But what's most annoying is that the NOKIA logo letters are falling off one after another. (In the official Nokia forums, there are a lot of other users experiencing this)
My Nokia 5 just turned 7 months old and already looks "well used"- even though I always handle it carefully.
I am on the P20 pro, and one of my family members is on the Htc U11 - for those of you unfamiliar with the phone, it's a snapdragon 835, 4 gigs of ram, waterproof with quite a good camera and quite a bad screen.
They enjoy notch like phones, and they are on a budget. I am thinking of getting them the Honor Play - I feel the battery will be better, so will the screen. The proc is more or less the same; I guess what worries me the most is the camera, or anything else I might not have thought of.
Anyone here can advise with cons and pros? Thanks
Everything other than the front camera is amazing....
Front camera just white washes everything, basically contrast is non existent... And if you are not a white, you will look like an... Em..... irish black person (pale brownish color or something)
Front camera has good quality images but color reproduction is simply subpar... Its a software issue as the same camera is used in Honor 9n n it produces 10x better results!
Overall front camera is 1/10...(compared it with a 2013 galaxy phone n it had better color reproduction than play)
Everything else is 9/10
Well, in my opinion, I go for an exchange for the U11, yes Honor Play is very good at nearly everything, fast and never laggy, I really love the screen, even not being Amoled contrast is really fair, it's a beautiful piece of hardware and software, but 2 essentials points for me : camera quality is really lower, and it's not waterproof at all (a friend had his Honor Play felt into water for like 3 seconds and sound died + screen flashing now). For the price it's very good, but not sure it worth it to change from U11 which is, still in my opinion. But yes battery is good with some easy tips, it can survive easily a good day, and before the last update I was at 2 days for average usage.
Based on what I saw, U11 and G6 were at pretty same level in camera (but U11 much expensive, it's why I didn't take it), and I can say I often regret my G6, so now if waterproof and picture quality is not that much important, go for it with no doubt
There is no waterproof smartphones out there in the market. There are only water resistant phones and that shouldn't be an issue if you are not IP67 -69 enthusiast. The camera might not be on per with the best out there but the quality is not that bad. Indeed, I get good results from it during the day .
In my view I would go for Honor Play as the first choice and it's new compared to U11.

Here in Korea, there are many issues being reported of mist accumulating under the camera glass, as well as dust getting in through the mic hole (part of the camera hump). Samsung has issued an official statement locally stating that these are "normal" and NOT subject to recalls/replacement/fix. So... yeah...

If dust is getting in through the mic hole [sic] then this is most certainly a defect as any device with IP68 rating (certified) must NOT allow this to happen, period.
Imagine if you had a ladder rated for 300 pounds (official stamp rating) and it folded with just 250! That would not be good. Granted a messed up lens isn't going to break your back but it still shouldn't be happening based on advertised specs.

Exactly, a lot of people are quite pissed off at Samsung, but for some reason it's one of the best selling phones from Samsung right now. I've only heard of "either" dust OR mist getting in there, but imagine what would happen if you had dust in there and it mixed with H2O lol.... You would literally have a muddy picture!
Great! The copper with the frosted matte back feels amazing in the hand. Feels almost like entirely metal! Kmocking 1 star off since they have the shiny cheap feeling flat glass on the white and black.
The best...Very impressive
