The stock text does well. The black values are perfect till the middle of brightness. The screen is battery friendly and clear.

1080p is more than sufficient, I believe its the baseline standard after 2015.
You aren't missing anything without a 1440p screen, the pixel density isn't noticable.
Just glad it isn't 720p, because of the upscaling of the rounded text.
