You don't have to install any third party app for reducing the brightness in night because it has minimum brightness level of 0.7 nits which is extremely low level brightness. So you can have strain free reading or browsing or something in nightâ

There is a night mode that doesn't turn your screen red it just lowers the lighting of the backlight by a significant amount, if you turn the nightmode on and lower the brightness near lowest it looks the screen is almost off definitely a good thing.

It is not much dim, forcing me to use third party apps to add a black color filter but that doesn't make the notification bar dimmer.

For an OLED screen I think the software should have a lower minimum. Now I need to use additional tools to reach the required low levels.
