Yesterday I made a post about apps you should avoid and it has gotten some traction online so I figured you guys might be interested in it. If you have any suggestion for the site itself or for apps I should feature then go ahead and leave a comment.

Well I'm trying to set this Mediawiki site up as a sort of android compliment to XDA-Devs (encouraging people to port android to different devices)
I haven't exactly started it as various family issues arose, I did, however provide a direct link in my signature as being a wiki, anyone could add to it. In theory, the website could take off without me (of course I don't plan on that)...
I came back just a few days later and BAM! Spam...
Multiple Ip's (in the process of blocking) and just random links to various sites which in all honesty are not the sort of things I expect spambots to link to...
Considering this is my first time really managing a website (Another XDA friend hosts it), then would anybody consider helping me out? Advising me of addons or other measures I can employ to stop things like this from happening again?
The link is in my signature www.androidevolution.com also points there.
Thanks in advance.
I figured with all the smart folks that this would be the place to get an answer. I'm one of those who is missing a couple paid apps from the market. Not a HUGE deal but I want them back at some point. Anyone here know the real deal?
Here's a link with a little more info
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=25b86f2ce5166c3c&hl=en
I looked for a thread around here but couldn't find one. If there is one please direct me there and apologies if this is has already been posted.
My apologies as I think I got my answer in that thread I linked to. Someone just contacted one of the developers and it appears the missing apps are copy protected apps and google appears to be blaming devs and devs are blaming google.
All I know is I want my paid apps. Surely they'll get this straightened out...
I know the giveaway isn't much but I hope over time it will grow. I am currently contacting manufactures to see if I can get any love.
I just started a new website called androidusers.info. I am hoping to have it have stuff that users want to see. Check it out and leave comments on what you would like there. Also I am having a giveaway for a superuser sticker. I know it's not much but for now everything is coming out of pocket. If you would like to help out let me know. I am looking for app developers who wouldnt mind giving away something. Also a tweet about it would be nice. As for the donation link well it says it all there. Not looking for huge donations just maybe a couple cents which over time and people will add up to some nice stuff to give away.
Mods feel free to remove if this isn't up to site code.
2 things i notices - 1 its slow to load (may just be my internet connection) and 2 it would be better if most of the post was viewable from the mainpage (like engadget)
Thank you for the comments. I am still working out the kinks and looking at other themes for it.
also the fonts , esp the titles are huuuuuuuge
Thanks. Will work on that.
Decided to give something else away now. Go check it out.

I left a comment Sick Android figure, I would love that haha But yeah it definitely does load on the slower side
you webpage loading time is too long. and you are missing "Meta Description". Try to summaries the posts on the homepage and make the visitors to click "Read More" to view the full post.
There doesn't seem to be a tips/tricks/hacks sharing thread here. I searched but there was only a dead one, so I'm gonna go ahead and start one up anyways. If mod doesn't approve, then by all means get rid of this thread.
Do you have any tips/tricks/hacks you'd like to share with the community? I have none yet as I have not used this phone long enough to come across any useful ones.
If anyone has any CM7-twekas such as settings wise, I'd happily take them.
Hey all. I've been on here on-off for the better part of the decade; mainly to try phone rooting. I started working for https://www.zerotier.com/ last week, and the company has a paid Android app on the marketplace. I've already had one person trying to reach out to me offering to do some code help; our dev team is working on some stuff to improve the app; and I saw one discussion of folks looking to install it via APK on Lineage. Any feedback on your experience is welcome, so I can have the others look at it. Thanks!
