Kali NetHunter for the Moto X 2014
What is Kali NetHunter?
Kali NetHunter is a penetration testing platform for Android devices. It includes a Kali Linux terminal and a bunch of cool apps for running exploits. Kali NetHunter is not a rom, it is a rom overlay, so be sure to read the installation instructions carefully.
Prerequisites:
You must be running a Nougat ROM. (I recommend one with Android 7.1.2_r27, I’m using AospExtended v4.4, I will provide a link to that in the downloads section.)
You must have a custom recovery installed (I'm using TWRP.)
Magisk and Magisk Manager must be uninstalled prior to installation. (This will install SuperSU)
Any native root access that came with your ROM must be disabled. (Usually in Developer Options)
A decent amount of free storage space.
How to install Kali NetHunter:
Download the Kali NetHunter ZIP and save it in a place that will be easy to access in TWRP.
Reboot to TWRP recovery and flash the NetHunter ZIP.
Reboot your phone.
Once the phone is booted, open the NetHunter app (not NetHunter Terminal) and tap allow on each message and make sure to grant it root access. Once it has set everything up then you can open NetHunter Terminal, if you like.
When flashing the NetHunter ZIP, do NOT wipe anything before or after the flashing process. When it is done flashing simply tap the "Reboot System" button. The first boot may reboot a few times and may take awhile, do not worry, just let it do it's thing.

I've tried with AospExtended v4.6 but my system freezed a lot. I had to reinstall all my system.

You said that you are using 4.4 but you posted a link to 4.6. And I wasnt paying attention so my first install ended up crashing.
The link is no longer active for Nougat Rom (changing the link to a capital V fixes it, however the android Pie rom is the only one listed.)
Here I found the correct link I think. Checking the metadata folder reveals android 7.1.2 inside this file hxxps://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579486528
almost 4000 downloads it seems worthy next to the other files by anderson mendez. his projects are excellent including RR for moto x 2014, I might have to try that if this install fails. Can anyone help me confirm this file is the good one so that the kernel patch installs successfully? I will find out in an hour or so zzz

1 . Download TWR.img ( only single file now dont worry ) copy in one folder
2. connect phone to pc boot your phone to download mode
3. open cmd in that folder
4. type adb devices
5. type fastboot boot twrp.img for temporary if you want permenant fastboot flash boot twrp.img
6. fastboot reboot
7. now wipe everything
8. now flash the rom
9. remeber if you are on slot a rom will install on slot b and press reboot to recovery again after installing rom and now switch to slot b and select reboot system now your phone boots to slot b

Thanks a lot for making these 2 ROMs for N7P.
I've tried both so far and there are a few things I've noticed, but don't know if they are user-error stuff
1. When booting up to login screen, I see a error message about "Something went wrong with the System. Please contact your vendor..."
2. SELinux is "Enforcing" when in Security tab and in the About tab it's set to "Permissive". Which one is it?
3. I have Encryption showing as ON, but it doesn't seem to encrypt the Data at all.
Apart from these issues, a few questions remain:
Is there a way to have full Camera2 API enabled?
What exactly did you add to the original GSI? I'm new to this whole treble support thing and don't really get what the Prebuilt Vendor stuff is actually adding. Cannot see any obvious stuff vs original GSI.
Will test further. Thanks again!

We are Team420, a smol Team of Devs cluttered around the world. We are committed to bringing unofficial Nethunter builds to devices which don't receive love from the official Nethunter developers. Today we are presenting you our first entry kernel for the Axon7. Unlike the official build by jcadduono, our Team420 release does support Oreo and Pie. In the future we might bring you more updates of this kernel, with upstream to linux-stable and new caf tags included. Stay tuned. Till then, enjoy this tasty release!

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Reboot into Recovery (e.g. TWRP)
2. Flash official nethunter arm64 generic zip: https://images.kali.org/nethunter/nethunter-2020.3-generic-arm64-kalifs-full.zip
3. Flash our kernel, you can find it under releases in the corresponding source: https://github.com/Team-420/a2017x-ailsa_ii-axon7/releases/tag/Nethunter-v1
4. Flash latest Magisk zip.
5. Reboot. Install the Nethunter App and NH Terminal via Nethunter Store (https://store.nethunter.com/) if they didnt get installed already.
6. Give nethunter app and terminal all permissions it asks for. Open Nethunter app and navigate to "Kali Chroot Manager" and make sure kali chroot is getting set up and started correctly.
7. Profit
! It might get stuck at first boot after flashing the kernel, in that case just force reboot the phone, it should boot then !
(You need magisk for Nethunter to work. If you had it installed before and Magisk isnt present anymore, flash it again)
