Note 5 android 8 via lineage os 15 ??

Hello , guys I'm a developer and I wanted to ask if i install this rom could it work or It will freeze the apps or it won't boot .. and i wanted to know if their is any other developer wants to port this rom to the note 5 ... Because I'm now on note fe port with note 8 apps .... Here's the link to the lineage os 15 :

Now's probably too soon. Android O is not stable and neither is our current Lineage OS 14.1 release.

I know that the build.prop will not work with my n5 but if you made changes in it , it might boot up because system files are the same but the problem is how the apps will run if they detect wrong screen resolution .... It was an idea i thought I have to discuss ....

Is not only build.prop edit, you need to have a kernel for your device, and many things because the source is for swift

Hey, it is Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Device's ROM port which is still Nougat and not Android 8 Oreo ROM

My bad still on 7.1.1. there is no Samsung with Oreo yet.

Working :

- Fingerprint ( FPC & Goodix )

Issue :

@Sahroni_AL_Dika Since you able to port roms, try porting rom's from This device , it runs the same processor as the phone you used to port the zenui 3.0, but zenfone 3 max has ZenUi 4.0.

Hmm, interesting. It's great to see another ported ROM. I'd recommend porting ZenUI 4 which is based on Nougat, though.

This ROM is not supported as dev has switched over to mido.

8.4.26 is better than 8.4.19
And
Update the website .by to .info

Very very good rom. the only thing I miss in it is private mode. I can't find it

Magisk was selected in Aroma but not installed.
EdgeLighting+ crashes.
