It gets really hot when I'm using it. I have 2 ideas why it's happening:
1. It's because of ROM (AOSPA 7.2.0, I'd update to 7.2.1, but I'm on vacation currently)
2. It's cause i cracked back glass panel.
Any help?
Solution: It was the Rom.

No live wallpapers, and i did reboot it. Nothing.
I used to have this issue, it could be due to many reasons but Clean install of the ROM helped a lot.
Did you Root your phone? Magisk v13 used to make my cpu Always on and with full frequency. Update it to v13.1 and problem solved
It was the Rom. Solved.

I made an AOSP Lockscreen Toggle Made for the Note II and ported it over to the Note 10.1.
Let me know how it goes for you and I will try to work out any bugs and any mods I make for the Note II I will try to add to this as well if possible.
You need to flash both files for it to work. and don't forget to Backup.

Once I perform a nandroid, I will flash these
After testing this for awhile on Resurrection Rom, I can say that it freezes my tablet 40% of the time, so I disable it. I use HOLO lock screen now to mimic AOSP lock screen.
Not working on Dr. Akrim's v8 rom (4.1.2)
Still get the water effect after flashing both these files in recovery.
Guess this was not for 4.1.2, right?

You have to go into your system settings and enable it, it should be under lock screen options.

I flashed this running on N8013-UEUCMA3-ARCMA3-XAR-deodexed ROM
After I flashed it, I'm getting some weird things like
Manage Accounts have "Push Subscriptions" instead of Gmail syncing
When changing fonts its says "More Fonts" for setting the fonts
I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue
is there a certain order that these zips need to be flashed in? Do I have to reboot after each flash or can I flash both at the same time?
I really like this MOD, seems I don't know how to acurately unlock using the stock unlock method haha
EDIT:
Wiped, clean flashed the rom, checked and everything was good
Flashed the AOSP Lockscreen MOD and everything I mented before was broken
I also have this MOD installed N8013UEUCMA3-UnlimitedAppsMod just to let you know

Unlocking is not working. Im on ARHD rom. Weird.

I update my N4 first day after release and i notice some bugs.
1.When i press power button to unlock, it unlocks and lock it again, like pressing twice.
2.When i make a call sometimes screen is black, like problem with sensor.
I make fresh update via fastboot, then wipe everything. Clean install.
This bugs i dont have on 4.2.2.
Can someone tell is there with this bugs or some other...?
Maybe we gonna need one more update from Google .

No issues here. Try downloading the stock image and flash again on a clean wipe.

I already do that. Download from google site and clean install via fastboot.
This bugs are after that.
Well, I actually have some serious issues with 4.3 that I did not have in 4.2.2. Playing any game, even Candy Crush Saga, was impossible due to gpu throttle, getting low framerates even after leaving the phone sleep for 15min... But in 4.2.2 I had no frame drops whatsoever, no matter the time I had been playing/using the device before, so I'm definetly staying with 4.2.2 until they fix that.
And I flashed 4.3 3 times to make sure it was something "normal".

Maybe you have a messed up power button. Did you go back to 4.2 and see if the problem disappears. I have a friend with a n4 and his power button was so sensitve. Just looking at it made it activate, jk but it was pretty close he did an exchange

My friend got another kind of bug.. He just doesn't have the "Download" icon. He's not rooted, and doesn't want to do that, so i don't know how could we fix this.. Any suggestions?:silly:

Try new clean install. Via fastboot.
Well, I already managed to crash Gmail & Voice Search. never happened to me with 4.2.x - fresh install.
I did notice others complain about crashing GAppz after upgrading to 4.3, so I guess I'm not alone.

My Gmail also is strange, no notifications at all. And sync is on.

I have already flashed with 4.3 stock image with adb/fastboot (flash-all.bat) and I am wondering if I did something wrong because now, my phone is starting acting like a samsung - it is slower, baterry is worse and, overall, it seems that it has a fewer frame rate.

In my case it means that after I received the OTA update, I rebooted, entered recovery, did reset factory defaults + wipe cache and configured everything from the beginning.
Can't get cleaner than that. upgrades might go wrong due to bad applications, old system configurations & stuff. It's better to do a fresh start once you get a newer version of the os.

this point 1...It's happening to here as well.It was no such thing in 4.2...I thought that something is wrong with my power button.Created a thread as well to ask other members here..So i guess i am not alone..Btw this thing happens not every time..It happens once or twice in every 10 tries..But it is annoying for me

I have just installed the cm-11-20131226-UNOFFICIAL-p990 custom rom on my LG P990
what is running great. But I have some notice what I would like to share.
First of all the camera is blinking and sometimes goes to upside down when moves fast the screen.
There are two phone icon in the settings menu.
And how can I setup the button lights to change the its colors how I setup that ?
These are things what I noticed about this rom.
Can somebody help me with a gapps install to fix these problems?
I hope I have written in the right forum about this.

Hey there, the camera problem is a known one and at the moment is not solved. About leds, i do believe our device has only white ones, so we can't change the colors. Only possible change is brightness, that can be changed in kowalski manager. The ROM has gapps included, so if you need more, use playstore.

It's not the gapps that cause this problem. We've just to wait for pengus to fix that. Pay attention, that kowalski kernel is in alpha state, so such problems are not surprise.

It doesn't appear always. It appears sometimes.
Once it apppears, it remains for hours.
Could it be a hardware or rom issue?

Probably a ROM issue. A custom ROM is a massive hack that runs on unofficial drivers - it's not surprising that something like this happens.

But I think I did it wrong then.
They asked to back up by TWRP and then do system cleanup, date, cache, dalvik.
But my question is how does this backup work? It generates a file, I put it in the pc and after cleaning everything I return in the mobile and I can restore? In this cleaning is the TWRP not auto-cleared? Does the PC recognize the phone after this cleaning? The reinstallation is the best way (before I had to go back to the Chinese stock)?
