P10 Lite WAS-LX1A Broken - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

HELP please!
I made a full TWRP backup of my device except (data partition) then restored another backup (to enable dual sim from here) and it was corrupted so!
now after restoring my official backup I have 3 problems:
1 Sound isn't working.
2 Boot logo changed to "Android" not the Huawei animated video.
3 Camera app is not working
And I tried to flash many ROMs with SD card but it's not working and flashing it with adb in FASTBOOT after extracting the UPDATE.APP is not working too.
Then restored another Full TWRP backup now changed to:
Model: WAS-LX1 (instead of WAS-LX1A)
Build number: WAS-LX1C10B105 (instead of WAS-LX1AC02B113)
After that restore: I can't restore my original TWRP backup again and still have the same problems.
And I tried "RedLotus tool" not working.

Current device info using HCU-TOOL:
Firmware ver.: NRD90M test-keys
SN: H3X7N17408007814
PCB SN: 7N4FCD174B069428

vendor country info corrupt - "Vendor country file not readable"

I am trying to get rid of the chinese firmware on my EVA-DL00 and change it to an international version. To achieve this I made a couple of steps (unlock bootloader, install TWRP, root, change cust), but seems like I did something wrong changing cust:
The service menu (*#*#2846579#*#* --> Network Information Query --> Vendor Country Info) originally reported "vendor: unicom, country: cn" - now it just reports: "vendor: Vendor country file not readable; country: "Vendor country file not readable".
Most of the steps I did with an older SRK Tool version (1.4), such as changing custom.bin and oeminfo to C432 and changing build.prop parameter. Before changing custom.bin and oeminfo I made a backup of these files. Restoring the files from the backup and entering the original version in build.prop with SRK Tool doesn't fix the vendor and country info though.
I also tried to use C432 custom.bin and oeminfo for EVA-L19 from a different source to not use the EVA-L09 files included in SRK tool. Using these doesn't make a difference though. It is clearly visible changing the cust does have an effect in my case as after doing so the device behaves different during initial startup (shows different configuration options in the wizard), different icons on the home screen, set-up menu for double sim use with the L19 files etc.
Nevertheless nothing seems to change the vendor and country info. The installed firmware is EVA-DL00C17B183 - after changing cust it only shows as EVA-DL00B183 in the about-screen though.
From which files is this information taken? Is it possible I changed file permissions somehow or even deleted necessary files? I don't remember I did anything that could have caused this though. Only thing might be wiping /cache and /data and changing file system to ext4.
Thanks for any help!

Similar story. What worked for me was a factory reset. Settings->Advanced Settings->Back & reset->Factory data reset. Good luck
Bazzan
Yea try factory data reset + cache wipe.

[resolved] How to Install (Multiple) .zip Stock update with TWRP ? [fixed]

---
FIXED, see 2nd post.

Hi, my phone : PRA-LX1C432B180 no brand dual sim
Like many P8 Lite 2017, I have the GPS issue.
so I want to update my phone, using Hisuite, they gave me the update,
Hisuite downloads the files then put them in the phone,
But then the phone reboot in TWRP/Recovery mode, and of course, nothing happens :
when I reboot, I still have the Old Build...
On my PC I copied what Hisuite downloaded (PRA-LX1C432B194-FULL) :
- update.zip (~1.7GB) SHA1: D3E728B4B29171C52E889A16F9599DAA9C29C179
- update_data_full_public.zip (~693KB) SHA1: 92979FFDC7D45048F4F2A92247F6DA5E846D2948
- update_full_PRA-L31_hw_eu.zip (~617MB) SHA1: 1DAC4AA49098B8B540A9C89CB8D8C88A1F571DEB
update.zip and update_full_PRA-L31_hw_eu.zip contain : some files and UPDATE.APP
my problem is : one UPDATE.APP is 3.6 GB, the other only 137 MB
how do I update my phone using TWRP or Fastboot ?
do I have to update the 3.6GB first then use the 137MB ? won't that create an issue ?
the 137MB doesn't content much, Huawei Update Extractor tells me that the img "09.cust.img" is the only file of interest.
the 3.6GB update.app contain 2 recovery img, why ? what should I do ?
I was thinking : extract the file "10.system.img" and flash the system via TWRP ?
should I flash the boot.img too ? the recovery and vendor.img too ?? even on an unbranded phone ?
this is so confusing.
so finally I did the following :
- I used HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5 to extract the stock recovery (not the recovery2)
- used fastboot to flash the recovery (so twrp was no more)
- used Hisuite to update, the phone rebooted in recovery mode and updated.
- the phone was updated, the GPS fixed.
Now I just have to put twrp back in there.

- It serves to update firmware, as well as update, but not to do Downgrade MM.
- also serves to perform rebrand changing cust.
- make copies of data and applications.
- I will not explain how to unlock the bootloader and install twrp, there are many tutorials.
- with this method the bootloader will be blocked again.
EXPERIENCE
- my compilation was VNS-L23C605B342 and update to VNS-L23C605B385 (demo video)

- the latter "update_full_XX-LXX_hw_xx" there are usually several L21, L01, etc. just download one and it will depend on the cell model.
- If there are not three, it does not work.
- Rename the firmware as follows : update.zip, update_data_public.zip, update_all_hw.zip
- copy and paste the renamed files into the "HWOTA" directory.
- the HWOTA folder, copy and paste in the external memory.
- turn off the cell phone and boot in recovery twrp.
- change to external memory.
- find the HWOTA folder and flash the OTA_catuva21.zip file

- CONGRATULATIONS UPDATE YOUR ANDROID.
REBRAND
- unzip the file HWOTA.zip
- download the "VNS-L...C...oeminfo.zip" (it's a flasheable file)
- download the firmware, this depends on the brand you want to change "VNS-L...C...oeminfo.zip"

- Create a folder in the external memory and paste the "VNS-L...C...oeminfo.zip" of your selection.
- turn off the cell phone and boot in recovery twrp.
- change to external memory.
- search the folder oeminfo and flash "VNS-L...C...oeminfo.zip"
- DANGER DANGER:crying::crying:

You really gonna laugh at me. I was rebranding my huawei PRA-LX1 and I already unlocked the bootloader. Successfully done all firsts 9th steps but when I had to unlock bootloader I figured out that I didn't keep the bootloader code from the last time... Then as the website is under maintenance I had to call huawei support, not open during the week-end in my country... During these days stucked in bootloader mode, it runned out of battery and powered off. I finally get the bootloader code from huawei but when trying to unlock I get "Wrong password" from fastboot. I tried to update via dload method but it didn't work I have no idea what I can do to fix it. Are there any chances to unbrick my device?
Thanks,
Nathoufresh
Sorry for my bad english

NMO-L31C464B350 (Huawei GT3) Sound, Camera, Bluetooth not working after restore

Greetings, I have a problem with my NMO-L31 device. 2 Weeks ago I rooted my phone with SuperSU Config for SBIN mode (I wanted to try su-hide)
After reboot device I tried to enter my PIN but device said isnt true. I restored my all files. After restore, my device's sound, fingerkey, bluetooth etc.. not working.
DLOAD method didnt work, updating process stuck at %5 so I installed ELITE Rom 7.7 with ELITE TWRP 3.1.1
Camera and fingerkey started to work but, sound and bluetooth still broken. I wiped all partitions (not SD Card partition) extracted NMO-L31C464B350 stock files (SYSTEM, BOOT, VENDOR, CUST, PRODUCT, VERSION.img)
I flashed SYSTEM, BOOT and VENDOR.IMG via ADB and flashed CUST, VERSION.IMG with TWRP install image module. I cannot flash PRODUCT.IMG, I tried 15-20 times but TWRP says "E: cannot flash image to file system". I changed "Product" file system ext4 to f2fs and f2fs to ext4 but didnt work. I successfully rebooted my device but camera not working again. (Sound always broken) Device applications like calculator, notepad... not installed.
I try to get product model with "fastboot oem get-product-model" code, ADB shows :
(bootloader) generic_a15
When I plug to computer with USB, Windows 10 notfication says HUAWEI-P9-LITE connected but it must be HUAWEI GT3 (after 1-2 seconds HUAWEI-P9-LITE changes generic_a15 )
I dont know what do to for this device because I tried almost everything.
Are HWOTA or HuRUpdater methods compatible with my device I dont know because Honor 5c - GR5 Mini - GT3 - P9 Lite absolutely confusing... You guys if you answer my post I will try these methods.
