Dear all. I need your help.
I have my Kindle fire HD 7 (2012) with Omni rom 5.1 and would like to change it to SlimLP 5.1
I enter TWRP, full wipe (dalvik cache, data, cache) then flash SlimLP. After reboot the system, the KFHD stuck on bootloop. It turn-on, kindle yellow logo, then blue logo and off and turn-on again and again.
Any way to fix it without factory cable?
Thx you very much for your help.

So my phone (HTC One Verizon m7vzw) keeps getting stuck frozen at about 25% of the way through the install process/screen for CM11. Here are the details of what I did:
- Started off with an installed version of CM 10.2
- Installed the latest version of ClockworkMod Recovery (6.0.4.7)
- Downloading gapps 4.4 and CM11 Snapshot M4 via the CM Updater app
- clicked install on the CM11 M4 build via the CM Updater app.
- phone boots into recovery and goes to install screen where the progress bar freezes at ~25%
- I can shut the phone down and send it back to the bootloader, but if I enter recovery it just automatically starts trying the flashing process again.
- ^ This means I can't try a factory reset...
Thanks for the help!
Ended up solving the problem using fastboot to flash a different recovery image (TWRP vs CWM), then use that recovery to wipe the user data, cache and dalvik cache, then wipe the system data so that the system partition could mount. Then re-flash the original recovery image (CWM) and that allowed me to finally flash the new ROM and Gapps
i have a 7 inch amazon fire tablet 2015 5th generation i installed the slimlp 5.1 android rom with flashfire and i also installed the google apps mini for it and it was working fine and then i rebooted it now its stuck at slims boot logo ty.
if it wont boot fully your only option is to return to stock and start again. just get the right amazon image 5.0.1 or 5.1.1 depending weather you upgraded after purchase. and sideload through stock recovery. (there are tutorials out there, just google it). it won't wipe data either so all your apps etc will still be there. then just root and use flash fire to flash slim and gapps again. just a thought, were you refering to the slim minigapps linked in op? or another?
I recently flashed slimrom on my kindle fire 5th gen 7in. It installed just fine except I have no root access and I cannot boot into recovery. When I try and boot into recovery it just stays stuck at the Amazon logo and I have to reboot it. I used flashfire and I even have a video of me flashing slimrom. I was on Nexus AOSP previously when I did it. Also when I flashed Nexus AOSP I was on fire os 5.1.2. Please help me and also would a factory cable allow me to reflash the stock recovery ?
Hi all,
I tried to flash a custom Rom and gapps but it got in a bootloop (first i wiped data, system, cache and art/dalvik cache). It says kernel is not seandroid enforcing.
In think the problem was that the custom rom was android 6.0 but the tablet was on 5.0
What can I do now? How do I get into twrp? I tried all button combinations.
Thanks!
Edit: fixed it, finally managed to get into twrp and restore my backup. Now I still have to figure out how to install the custom rom
That's good uve got it working, if your device is compatible just use the relevant sections from the following guide:

Likely not wiping partitions prior to flashing CM. Read/follow guidance in CM 12.1 thread...first post in particular.
