Mobile AP problem

Whenever I turn on mobile ap, my data connection disappears. The device connects to my phone just fine but the data doesn't work. Even after i turn off mobile ap, my data stays off until I restart my phone. Any ideas?

Try reflashing your modem, and Rom if that doesn't work...

I'm on stock and am not rooted.

[Q] Losing 3G after I disconnect IncS from PC

Hi,
Why do I lose my 3G connection after I disconnect my HTC IS from my laptop ? It always happens when I choose internet pass through option and the only solution for this is to restart my phone. Anyone experiencing the same bug that i suffer from ?
Any workaround rather than restarting my phone ?

Try switching mobile Internet on and off?

thats very odd .. hasn't happened to me ... do you have any network control apps like juice defender? try uninstalling ... also try switching off mobile network ... using passthrough ... then switching on ... might be a problem with the network management ... does the same happen with switching between wifi and 3g?

NFC

Is there any S beam like feature in our phone. If we touch both the phone from back and it make a Wifi direct connection to transfer stuff. I am sorry I am new to Sony I've only used samsung and htc.

Under wireless and networks there's something called android beam, make sure you have that on (both devides) and also the NFC toggle, make sure that's on. Once you have that on you can proceed to transfer files using NFC as you would with you Galaxy phone. When you tap them (back to back) you will be prompted to select what you want to send; and then bluetooth takes over.

What settings

Is it you change to make WiFi and mobile data go to sleep when screen is off ,can't remember which things I need to change .Thanks for any help

for data goto settings.power,sleep mode for wifi settings long press wifi press the three dot menu then pick advance

Ok so in struggling ,in WiFi advanced setting I have it set to never stay on when devices sleeps ,but WiFi is staying on ,for data there is no long an option to turn off data when device sleeps .don't want to use a app for this want to use phone settings

The wifi shuts off if there is no signal available, and the sleep mode function for data should still be there under the power tab. If these don't help, try doing it manually with widgets or quick settings (most reliable if you do it manually).

WiFi and Mobile Data Intermittent

Hello,
I was having a strange WiFi and Mobile Data intermittent issue. The phone would lose data (both WiFi and mobile) and would not connect to the internet. This happens about every 5 minutes.
I just RUUed to the latest. It was fine. I rooted using the latest TWRP recovery. Then it started having the same issues.
Is it not possible to have consistently working data while rooted?
