so I was able to get the backup through titanium backup, both the Apk and the data files, however, I failed restoring them on my new phone is there any answer to my problem.
the application that I'm trying to move from one phone to the other is Whatsapp, and no I can't reach the old number since I lost the sim card and I can't get the message they sent to confirm the number "( any help, please .
I think..
if you don't have the sim card of your old number, your whatsapp account can't be restored, unless you request new sim card with same old number from your carrier..

If you need everything and your new phone is non rooted, then I think it's impossible, because titanium need root access
is your old devices is Xperia Z?
there is an alternative app named Helium that could backup and restore without root, but I guess it's not really working on Z
do you still have your old devices?
some people say that Astro file manager have ability to backup file, but I never try it
hope it help

yeah it's very annoying man, i cant carry 2 phones all the time just because of whatsapp :3
So I wanted to root my phone, and i figured out that it is impossible to root my phone without unlocking the bootloader, but I don't really want to loose my data, so I want to know if it is possible to do it without loosing any data?
nope
You cannot. Once you unlock the bootloader, it will reset everything. Have a backup through hi suites, or inbuilt backup app on usb/sd card etc.
Copy the images, WhatsApp images, picture folder, hwthemes folder manually if downloaded themese, WhatsApp images are important. DCIM full folder is your camera+fb images. And hisuites backup your app+data so no worries. It backup your contacts as well. Use sms and call log backup app to backup sms and call logs.
However story ia different when you are rooted. You can just use titanium backup for complete backup.
No way man.

There is an Android Development and Hacking section, so it's not completely prohibited. Hacking to get paid stuff is the one not allowed here.

Have you unlocked?
I'm currently installing Android SDK right now.
Now I am ready to unlock the bootloader, but is there any way to revert to factory settings if something goes wrong? Like a original ROM or Firmware download?

So I am ready to unlock the bootloader, but wanted to know, is there any way to revert to the original system after doing this, or after installing twrp?

After unlocking bootloader, install twrp. Have full backup backup backup...then do whatever you wish to.
Ok. I have viewed a guide on how to root the phone, and it said that there is no download for the original update.app file for Huawei eRecovery. Also is there any way to backup to computer using twrp, because im not sure i will be able to store the backup file on my local storage.

extract update.app from firmware, when you got twrp installed all your data is gone already. just follow guide and you'll be fine.
But how do I extract the update.app?

Just save the firmware zip to pc, sd card simple. You may need it when messed up..
For twrp, refer the guide properly and files in my signature for honor 5C repository.
Ok, I'll do that after I get home

Last week my Nokia 8 device was unexpected factory reset during the night. I have some important files without sync. How I can recover these files?
There are tools you can try to recover the data with. It's not guaranteed though that it will work if the internal storage was wiped too. Here's one tool (have no experience of it) and you can easily Google for more.

So apperently because of a restore of an incomplete backup using twrp my phone got bricked. I unbricked it using huawei mt but my /data partition is not mounting because of which the phone won't boot(this is based on my observations and I could be wrong but I am unable to mount /data). I know there is a way to format/repair the /data using adb but idk how to. A lil help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I have a question about my OnePlus 10 pro. Some guy helped me revive my OnePlus through MSM tool after I bricked it flashing konabess overclock. It got me into crashdump. After a reboot, I got a fingerprint registration problem and wasn't able to register one ever since. As soon as I try to register one, it vibrates and doesn't show up any fingerprint icon at all. What can I do about this??
Phone used to be NE2213.
nothing. you may have lost your persist.img file. i don't believe that is recoverable using MSM. only if you have a backup.

It's quite normal for people to lose it. Oneplus was bought out by OPPO. Oneplus as you knew it no longer exists.

I've had the same thing occur.
Unfortunately there's no recovery so you can't reset file that controls these items.
The only thing you can do now is perform a Local re-flash or update.
Reply to this if you need the files to do so.

you will need a persist.img file from another NE2213(identical storage specifications) to restore the fingerprint.

One thing I forgot to mention is that you need to have your ROM version correct
- India ROM
- EU Rom
- World ROM
If the version I've provided ( World ROM) does not work for you, simply download the correct one, and follow the same steps.

I know what the issue is now, the persist.img is corrupted due to konabess overclock installation. This can only be recovered through another OnePlus 10 pro of the same model it's persist.img file you need to extract and flash it on the corrupted OnePlus to get it working again, the guy is going to share me a file soon. As soon as I'll get it, i might be the first one with the file for the OnePlus 10 pro. I'll share it here

I now read again and find out malfunction of your device is not caused by konabess overclocking but by MSM tool downloading. Konabess overclocking will only modify the boot partition so it has nothing to do with the persist partition. The latter was broken as you downloaded a full rescue package with a invalid persist image.
