I'm just wondering if there is one JB rom that has everything working. Kfazz has one that the FM radio works, but the Play Store doesn't. He has another one where the Store works but the Radio doesn't. Energic has done some interesting things with these. And somewhere in there, there is a version that some folks say the WiFi isn't working. I have installed all of them. I like bits and pieces of them all. Has anybody put all the pieces together? Alternately, is there a way that I can look at the differences between them and cherry pick out the best from each?
I hope somebody is out there to answer my plea.

Currently there is no Jelly Bean ROM that has everything working 100% correctly, however if you wanted to you could look at each developers that created a Jelly Bean ROM github sources for that ROM and then using git and the Android build system cherry pick the commits that work and try build them in a new ROM. If each developer doesn't have a github you could also try and asking them for the repository where they store there source code.

You can look into each developers github (Here is Kfazz's github profile link) by finding there github profile on github by searching for it or if they have it linked on XDA by clicking on their username then select the "View GitHub profile". Use can then use github to browse each developers source repository, the main tools you will be using are Git and Repo to manipulate and cherrypick the various commits. Additionally I would recommend making sure you have acess to a Linux box or are running Linux to make building and working with the source code repository's easier. Also, I would recommend taking a look at this great guide on how to use Repo and this great guide on how to Git.

so, u are going to post link of official nightlies here !???
@Alberto97 is working on it, and will create a thread when he's ready. It's not appropriate to create a thread for something you didn't make when the actual creator is active on the forum and it just trying to tidy things up before posting it.

Compile away and have fun. It's open source and you're welcome to do that. Alberto will just create a thread when he's ready.

If somebody has made cm13 ready let him share it
a ROM thread without download link isn't allowed. mods will lock this thread anyway

you can have your unofficial builds with cherry picks its only that alberto has worked on it since the start and he deserves the credit for official nightlies, that doesnt mean you are inferior in anyway , you can also contribute towards official nightlies its difficult for a single person afterall, never stop compiling!
Placeholders not allowed dude.
I almost feel like this was a click bait thread... Our device is SO close.
Thread closed
No Placeholders allowed and absolutely NO pay-per-click ad site links

This is the thread for the unofficial builds for CM 14.1.
I'm using Nightcore500's device/kernel trees he created for LineageOS 14.1 so of course massive thanks and kudos to Nightcore500 for getting those working!! It's much easier to use another set of trees than manually convert the M8 trees to fit this phone!
Anyway this is the first build and it built. I have no idea whether it works or not as am not sure whether to test it on my only phone (!) but I think I probably will anyway! :silly:
It's attached on this post and I'll add more detail later on.
Cheers!
CM14.1 08-05-2017
A question, can you please explain why you use the source code from nightcore and open a second thread in this you also provide CM / Lineage 14.1? That makes zero sense? oO

Ha! I haven't been reading the news...
May well be. Nevertheless, you can ask first if he is not already planning to publish the ROM if he already provides the source code for it.
I would not find it at least nice when i work hard on a project and then someone takes me away.
As long as nightcore is working on Cyanogenmod and / or Lineageos it should also be his work. This is one of the first code of honor of any xda developers. (Or generally any developers)
Please be so fair.
Any other type of ROM is open for you like Resurrection Remix, dirtyunicorns and so on.
This thread only creates confusion.
Tbf Soenetsi has done a lot of work for our phone so no need to be so harsh
