How to Disable Logs in Xposed Installer Logs - Xposed General

How to Disable Logs in Xposed Installer Logs
i had Installed Xposed Installer v2.7 experimental1
dev name Sony Xperia Tipo Dual
My Android Device Version is Android 4.0.4
Model No ST21i2
Build No. 11.0.A.6.5
Through it was not activating/installing its framework though it said me.
to install this XposedInstallerStaticBusyBox_v1.apk App to install it Succesfully.
then actually after installing that the framework was installed successfully.
but there was 1 problem with it Was Automatically Generating Log & it hangs My Phone
after 2-3 days Then i would restart there afterwards.
but the solution was to clear logs daily not possible for me.
it logs generating size goes to 2,3 to g mb after 2-3 days
then what 2 do now is 2 disable the generation of Log file.
Please I want 2 disable occuring of logs completely.
so, can you try your best and give me a new update of this app with disable logs featured.
thanks.

Good to go Gerett! I merged XXLSC with 2.12.14 but camera and USB mass storage didn't worked, so didn't released.
Keep it up and happy holidays.
Nice Christmas gift..Thank you Gerret ! Flashing it ...
Good Rom to release Gerret. I was missing countless futures like themes
which was in any CM based rom but because the multi view in JB TW I
returned to use the ugly laggy TW. But MIUI + Multi View is WoW with
some of the countles future I Want + The MIUI stunning inteface
I am facing the following issues in this rom (Data wiped + All necessarily formats have done) :
1- always always always i am getting "Process com.android.media FC" and anything media related can not be used
2-I am getting also "Process com.android.Phone FC"
3-also "Process com.android.gapp FC"
4-I think there is issues with the root in this rom, the miui root manger asks me for the first thee apps whether to allow root access
or not but after these it is not even like i am rooted. Any app I Install requires root will force close after opening. Tried to download
SuperSU and Superuser but both are foreclosing also.
+ the issues you already mentioned in the opening
for the log, I have no idea how to obtain logs for development, may someone explain the logging required here so I could share it?

Its Better to use the same Android version as the base rom use. Using a higher Android Version will be much more work with more bugs and maybe not stable

If downloading from your note, open in web first then download otherwise the link appears dead..
I've fixed alot of my problems by flashing the leaked stock JB rom prior to flashing this Note2 leak.. I now have a lockscreen on working power button
For those having process com.android.media FC, the solution is quite simple ...
Make a backup of SecMediaProvider.apk which is located in /system/app/ then delete it
reboot then copy the backup you made to /system/app and correct permissions to 644
now reboot and the Media FC is gone
I alway have com.android.phone force close .do Anyone have solution?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Edit:
Samsung Keyboard still needs some work .works only on my backup
But Samsung Camera works good now
can anyone please upload the snote apk from xls leak?

Can't disable framework on build: v80.0-sdk22-arm - LOGS ATTACHED

Hi all,
(logfiles attached)
I recently lost the ability to disable my Xposed framework after a v73 -->> v80 upgrade. Previously, I've always used the method of creating file /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/disabled and renaming or deleting it when finished. That no longer works, although everything else about the v80 framework is working fine. Don't really know if it's a bug or not.
Here are the specifics of my device:
Model: SM-G900T Samsung Galaxy S5 - TMO
ROM: G900T_OL1-5.1.1 Stock Rooted DeOdexed ROM (1/11/2016)" from @muniz_ri, via this xda thread.
Recovery: TWRP 3.0.0-0
Installer: Xposed 3.0 alpha 4
Installation mode: Classical
Old: wanam's version 73 / 20150903
xposed-v73-sdk22-tw-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20150903
New: wanam's "arm SDK22" version 80 / 20160211
xposed-v80.0-sdk22-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160211
If anyone else has observed this behavior or knows how to further debug, I'd sincerely appreciate your ideas and help. Or, if there's an alternate method to disable/enable Xposed, that'd be great to know as well. Thanks in advance.

[Magisk][Module] Xperia Z2 / Z3 / Z3c Torch Boost v1.2

Here I present you my first Magisk module.
Description:
It boosts the torch on SONY Xperia Z2 / Z3 / Z3c devices by replacing system/etc/flashled_calc_parameters.cfg with a file that sets if_torch_vr = 500000 instead of just 25000, which is the default value by SONY.
By doing this, the flash LED is operated at 500 mA instead of just 25 mA.
In my experiences, 500 mA is a sweet spot which provides good brightness, but at the same time doesn't heat the LED too much. Still, I would advice you to not use the torch for more than about 5 minutes at a time. You use this module at your own risk. If you want to set a lower brightness, then you can edit system/etc/flashled_calc_parameters.cfg in the zip and change if_torch_vr to a value lower than 500000 before installing the module. Of course you can also use a higher value, but I wouldn't exceed 1000000 (this is also the value that SONY set in the line # Max current for Torch (uA) i_batt_max_torch of the flashled_calc_parameters.cfg file.)
Background:
The method I used was first described in a thread by @olokos which you can find here. For comparison: The extreme version you can download there (which is a flashable zip and not a Magisk module obviously) sets if_torch_vr to 1000000, which corresponds to 1000 mA or 1 A. As users reported, even at this setting the torch can be used for 5 minutes before temperature increases significantly, but I want to keep it safe by using just half of that value. If you want to know more about the user experience with different settings, I recommend you to read the above mentioned thread, as well as @antkalaitzakis96's thread, who uses the same method, which you can find here.
Compatibility:
This module should work on any SONY Xperia Z2 / Z3 / Z3c device running on Android 5.0 - 8.1.0, rooted with Magisk. I'm quite sure about this since I compared the flashled_calc_parameters.cfg files from Android 4.4 (SONY stock KitKat ROM) with Android 6.0.1 (SONY stock Marshmallow ROM) and also with Android 7.1.2 (LineageOS and Carbon Nougat ROMs) and the files were always completely identical! If you still want to check if the module will be compatible with your system before installing it, grab system/etc/flashled_calc_parameters.cfg from your system by using a root file explorer and then compare it with the flashled_calc_parameters.cfg file from the module zip file. The only difference between the two files should be the if_torch_vr line.
Enjoy!
Please leave some feedback if the module works for you.
Thanks:
Many thanks to @topjohnwu for the ingenious Magisk universal systemless interface and to @olokos for the initial torch boost mod.
Changelog:
v1.0 - Initial release
v1.1 - Updated to Magisk Module Template 1500
v1.2 - On Oct 26, 2020 @t.Lancer published an updated version in post #25 which works on newer Magisk versions. Thanks a lot!
Needed this. Thank you so much.
I love this module, I always wondered why my light was dinner than everyone else's. My light cuts through the darkness now!
Hi okij, I've used your module a bit reduced. Good work! Now there is the stock camera and I believe that the flash light so not in the camera settings is considered? The images are over-exposed in the close range. Once the module has been deactivated. Perhaps the setting can be automated to take pictures?

The module only changes if_torch_vr (comment line: "# LED If setting for Torch or video recording (uA)"), so it just affects the brightness when using the torch or when using the flash LED as a lamp when doing a video recording (which is good, because you have a brighter video lamp).
On the other hand, flash brightness is controlled by max_if_flash (comment line: "# Flash LED_If max current (uA)") which is set to 1500000 by default and not altered by the module. Therefore the module doesn't change anything when taking pictures.
Anybody having problems to install this module on Magisk 13.3? When I go to MODULES, select it and install, Magisk app freezes and I have to restart my phone. After that, I cannot open Magisk app anymore. I have to completely uinstall it and install again to be able to open the app again. On Magisk 12 it was working perfectly.
@maecar: The Problem is not Magisk 13.3, but Magisk Manager 5.1.0. There are numerous reports on the last few pages of the Magisk Support thread about the freezing issue. Until @topjohnwu fixes it, reverting to Magisk Manager 5.0.6 helps.
Mind making modulesl universal for Xperias...
Thanks... I use Z5!

I have to thank you and @AndroPlus for the initial MOD! I've been happily using it since about 2 years, but of course always had to re-apply it when updating a ROM. Now with Magisk, we can just "set and forget".

IMHO it is.
This mod is known for about 2 1/2 years by now (long before my Magisk implementation) and I haven't read of any user who damaged his phone by using it.
Anyway, as I wrote in the OP, I would advice to not use the torch for more than about 5 minutes at a time, just to go safe.

Since you don't provide any logs (installation or recovery) it's impossible to know for sure.
But, a likely issue is that this module is old and hasn't been updated for later versions of Magisk. If you're on Magisk v14+, this module won't install...

Yes, @Didgeridoohan is right, the module used an old template. I didn't notice that it doesn't install correctly anymore on newer Magisk versions because I only installed it once and then just updated Magisk to each newer version, which always kept the module installed.
I now updated the module to v1.1 which uses the current Magisk Module Template 1500. You can find the download in the updated OP.
Xperia Z2 / Z3 / Z3c Torch Boost v1.1 installed well on my Z3 Compact, running on Magisk v16.
Please leave a note if it works for you too now.

I didn't try Android 9 CarbonROM yet and most likely won't use it for the next couple of weeks since I need my Z3c as my daily driver and the ROM must be reasonably stable and bug-free.
Are you saying that flashled_calc_parameters.cfg isn't in folder system/etc/ anymore on Android 9?
The Torch Boost Magisk Module v1.1 still works fine with Magisk v18.0 under Android 8.1, so currently there's no need to update to the newest template.

[ROM][AROMA][A2017G][B06 7.1.1.][stock] SL!M² DF!NR

:good:Thanks to all for downloading (almost 400 ) my B06-slim² !:good:
As promised i made an AROMA ROM based on the B06-slim² version. For me it was more an exercise to complete this AROMA ROM for the G version.
As for the little spare time that i had i tried to make a version that has some features to add and to debloat further to scratch. It’s nothing too fancy but the first AROMA for our G model i think. I’ve enjoyed making it and perhaps i’ll make a new one if there’s enough feedback to add some more features in a next release :cyclops: !
It’s fully functional and tested. Smooth, no bugs (report when there is)
Hope you’ll E N J O Y !!!
Based on :
A2017G B06-slim² ROM
MiFavor 4.2
INSTALL : ( TWRP )
When you're on another ROM, stock (or even on B05-slim or B06-slim²) and you want a clean install just follow this procedure :
For other models, remove the first 2 lines (line1. "assert....". and line2. " abort....." in updater-script (in META-INF), save and rezip..
Or use this file : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579490489 . Unzip it and drag the naked updater-script into the META-INF of the ROM with 7-zip and replace the existing one.
0. In case you want to reflash your own apps from B06-slim², backup your personal apps with f.e. TB, ZipMe... (or whatever)
1. Make a full backup of your current device in TWRP ! (use it to RESTORE if necessary) DON’T FORGET !
2. Wipe cache / dalvik / data / system
3. Install : A2017G-N-B06-bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298981646
4. Install : AROMA A2017G SL!M² DF!NR : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617938421
5. Choose your stuff to add or debloat, let it RUN and reboot, wait…a minute…or 2…
6. Done ! No more no less :cyclops:
AFTER INSTALL :
1. Go into Adaway/give root permission/download files etc. and update DONE!
2. When you added Youtube Adfree, you’ll have to go into PlayStore/settings and check “no auto updates” ! Otherwise the Youtube app will update again to that TERRIBLE ANNOYING ADD state!

Any reason why this wouldn't work on the U version? I might give it a shot tomorrow.

You can flash Universal BL with U modem. See LOS14 Thread
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464
Just give it a try. Should work too. First BACKUP !
Let me know
Which mifavor version? I assumed 4.2 since based from other.
Thanks!
Is the EPM Mod the colored or the normal version?
Maybe add xposed to additional features.

Normal version. (i can add coloured version on a new version later on)
If there are enough requests I can make a new one with those additions either on this N-B06 or on a new N-B0X (if there ever comes a new one....)

No thanks, i like the white/normal version.
I hope there will be a new one. Android 8 would be awesome, but we will see... and again: thanks for your work!

Ok I got it to work. however I kept getting "Erro:7" in TWRP. To fix I had to remove the first couple lines in the updater script file. Looks like the patcher wasn't recognizing my phone correctly.
All good though. Great ROM!

Yeah, forgot to mention that. The first lines of updater-script has to be removed for other models to work. They're a safety check for G model.
So for other models, open Rom zip in 7zip. Go into META-INF to update-script, open with note++ and remove the 2 first lines ( line1 "assert..." and 2. "abort..."). Save and you're good to go :good:
Can someone please explain what the bootstack file is for? I have a A2017G stock rom. Do I need to use that? And do I flash it with twrp?
Hi
I came from RR and after restoring my apps and parameters from Google cloud, I have a problem with buttons on the notification panel. I can't organize buttons as I want maybe due to parameters from RR.
How can I solve that?
Could you check this app? It throws lots of warnings and I cannot use it. *on your rom ofcouse*

I made a mistake, i have wiped system, data, internal storage, dalvik and cache for a clean install but now this ROM doesn't boot. I flashed bootsatck and ROM but doesn't boot. Lineage boot without problem.
What can i do?

It seems i don't have boot partition. Lineage can work without this partition?
Just installed and it is fantastic. Thank you.
Only issue is the clock on the status bar is in the middle and sometimes is covered by other icons. Any solutions to this?

[ROM][AROMA][A2017G][B08 7.1.1.][stock] SL!M³ DF!NR

As promised i made an new AROMA ROM based on the A2017G-N-B08 version.
As for the little spare time that i had i tried to make a new version that has some features to add and to debloat further to scratch. It’s nothing too fancy but all right i think :cyclops:. I’ve enjoyed making it and will make new ones on new update-releases !
It’s fully functional and tested. Smooth, no bugs (report when there is)
Hope you’ll E N J O Y !!!
Based on :
A2017G N-B08-slim³ ROM (not released because of this ROM based on it )
MiFavor 4.2
INSTALL : ( TWRP )
When you're on another ROM, stock (or even on B05-slim,B06-slim² or B08) and you want a clean install just follow this procedure :
Other models like A2017 and A2017U can flash this too. Only use Universal BL & your specific MODEM ! : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464
0. In case you want to reflash your own apps, backup your personal apps with f.e. TB, ZipMe... (or whatever)
1. Make a full backup of your current device in TWRP ! (use it to RESTORE if necessary) DON’T FORGET !
2. Wipe cache / dalvik / data / system
3. Install : A2017G-N-B08-bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745849072291684863
4. Install : AROMA A2017(G) SL!M³ DF!NR : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617945436
5. Choose your stuff to add or debloat, let it RUN and reboot, wait…a minute…or 2…
6. Done ! No more no less

Many thanks for this.
Is it possible/safe to dirty flash this over your B06 version?
EDIT: I'm already running your B06 version using the B08 bootstack/modem
Thanks a lot for your work and time! I always look forward to your ROMs. Have a great weekend!
Hi !
Thx a lot for you effort... really appreciated.
I dirty flashed over B06 (not AROMA), everthing running/starting fine so far.
(For deeper tests there was - of course - no time so far. Will keep you updated)
regards

Stupid question but why is this mifavor 4.2 whist the other stock based rom is 5?
What is the difference?

Mostly because I made this usable for the U model. Chinese one has MF5. They have to decide themselves

Yes it is. I did a full test backup and restore and for me it's running ok :good:
Thanks. Works perfect.
Nice! I just installed the B06 last week and it really is great rom, thanks. I'm going to flash it tonight.
Is this Rom deodexed?
I was planning to remove some apps from system folder.

No. It's not. I leave it odexed for known reasons : fluency , speed...
But removing system apps has no direct influence if you know what to remove. But I guess you know
I removed a bunch of system apps without deodexing.
It's only necessary when replacing apps (in some cases even that is not needed)
@raystef66
My problem is that I want to use microG.
Removing gapps lead to an unbootable device on the stock ROMs.
I never tried your creations.
Do I have to resign the zip file of the b08 if I edit delete the unwanted folders before flashing?

If you want to remove or edit where possible you don't have to resign. Just drag folders you want to delete out of zip. When replacing apk's just drag them into it. Remember to verify if it's possible to remove /delete or replace.
You can always back up the original ones. If not working you always can revert back.
Or you deodex the rom partly when you know how.
I don't know your specific issue but I think it's doable.
Otherwise, PM me. Perhaps we can figure it out :good:
Anyways, replacing all gapps and inserting microG could be tricky. But harmless when not working
I could look into it tomorrow when you want or sent me the specific data you want to build in.

The other rom works with U model though. You just have to flash the universal bootstack/modem for U version. Only thing that doesn't work with that version is volte/cdma.
I am just confused. Seems like other rom is a mix of 4.2 and 5 though not only 5 and changing themes on adm rom currently causes a force close anyway so little use!
fellas, anyone that uses facebook messenger: are you getting signed out of fb (like once a day) if you try to reply by clicking on the notification? i've reinstalled and it still being dumb but i'm pretty sure its an issue with fb since its such a great app that never has issues......
Is it possible to completely remove the screen lock clearing battery saving feature? I'm using a custom ROM because I hate apps being force closed when I lock my screen, and you can't disable it for some apps (like live wallpapers).
Hey! Nobody uses whatapps here? I was happy to try this super b08 but unfortunately zte still has not corrected the problem of voice messages on whatapps so I go back to b04. Super good job otherwise this slim version with aroma ???
