Hello guys..
I would like you to go through XDA new users guide and you must read the FORUM RULES before posting here or anywhere else on xda.
The rate at which the new users are joining xda on daily basis is very high. A lot of users join because they have got some problems with their devices like bricked phone, bootloops etc. because of they following incorrect processes. Some join to help out others, to share their knowledge and gain more.
So basically this thread is for all of those who want to ask questions and answer those.
So those who want to help here, just try to answer without flaming, let it be answered thousands of times earlier, show them the path, direction and let them do things on their own. Do not spoon feed, rather just try to point them to right direction.
To The people asking questions here, don't forget to check on Google before asking here. That will help you increase your knowledge, and do answed the questions asked by others if you know the answer. Please don't simply say thanks if some member helps you, instead use the thanks button, that will help us keep this thread less cluttered.

I tried this rom, its working perfectly, but im still facing the same problem with wifi getting disconected randomly. Its connected for some time and in one moment it just go like "no connection, connected, no connection...." And it cant be stoped.
For now this bug(if I can name it like 'bug') only happen on a few phones, so I don't know why this happen, but in most cases are wrong WiFi router configuration

I think you need to download disable wifi power saver ROOT from Google play

Won't boot into the new recovery mode
Hi,
I have a problem on my samsung galaxy j3 2016 SM-J320w8. where I install TWRP using Odin on my pc and when I press Home + Power + Volume Down it doesn't put me into the TWRP Recovery Mode it just stays on the screen show The Model of the phone and it gives me a little message in RED that says "RECOVERY IS NOT SENDROID ENFORCING"
I was wondering if anybody has had this problem and if they have a fix for it.
I've tried different versions of official and non-official versions of TWRP and CWM and they all give me the same error.
I don't know if this could just be a region issue because I'm in Canada.

Canada versions of J3 and A&T versions of J3 have locked Bootloader so I think that you can't run any another recovery or OS different than Samsung Stock ^^

Some incompatibility with 7 smalli files but it can be fix xD(only Djeman can)

I just created an account and would like to apologize in advance for any rookie mistakes; using the wrong terms/words and expressions, posting in the wrong place etc... I have seen a lot of very helpful threads but I have yet to find an answer to my issues with my phone.
I have an HTC One (I believe it is the M7) and the service provider is Verizon. The phone was rooted when I bought it and has
"NuSenseSIX-KitKat-m7vzw_RC4.2_032914"
I am having problems with using a bluetooth earpiece together with the phone. (You will get a ticket if driving and talking in the state of WA) and it drives me nuts! I have tried 3 different brands/kind of bluetooth devices as well as made sure that they work on other phones.
I am able to connect/pair the devices - no problem. I can listen to audio, both music/sounds on the phone as well as during calls or using Voxer Walkie-Talkie. There was never an issue on my end as far as hearing sound BUT, not once have I been able to be heard on "the other end". All they hear during a call is a "high-pitched crackling, static, robotic, very annoying" noise which makes the device useless for its purpose.
I have tried restarting, repairing and whatever other "simple" troubleshooting steps I could think of.
I did back the phone up and then did 2 or 3 factory resets, I have "un-rooted and re-rooted" the phone using SuperSU (which was already installed). I have tried to do the wipe/reset/recovery procedure a few different ways, one being a complete removal of Dalvik, cache, and whatever else shows up (sorta scary since I don't have very much experience)
Anyways, I am stuck and wonder if there is anyone out there who can possibly help me..? Is there a "fix" that I can install/apply or is there a better ROM I can use? I'm afraid to try "ROM or Kernel-swapping" on my own before I get some feedback on the procedure...

Hello Bob, welcome to xda!
Bluetooth call audio was fixed in version 6.01 of NewSenseSIX rom. Your actual version is RC 4.2 which mean "Release Candidate" version 4.2. RC versions are not fully stable, but stable enough for average users to test them. Latest stable version of NewSenseSIX for verizon htc one is 8.0. Updating your rom to latest version should fix your issue.
You might also want to update your firmware to the latest version for more stability. (will be mentioned in the rom thread if required)
You'll have to use twrp recovery version 2.7.0.8 or newer like said in the rom thread

keep in mind that Verizon variant of the M7 have different partition layout than the internation version(M7_UL), so only use stuff (rom/recovery/tools) that is compatible for Verizon M7 (M7VZW)

The link posted by @alray above comes with the download and instructions for flashing TWRP. And the second link takes you directly to the rom.
The only way it could be easier is if he comes to your house and flashes it all for you

you will first need to upgrade your firmware like said in the rom thread. Click on the link in that thread "Latest Radios and Firmware are REQUIRED and can be found here"
follow instruction to flash the latest firmware in that thread
then flash twrp 2.8.0.1 (also linked in the rom thread just above "Latest Radios and Firmware..." link.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then push the rom to your phone (either using adb push/adb sideload/usb otg) and install it using twrp.
like cisa said above, if you follow the instructions in that thread andtake your time, everything will be good.

Just installed this ROM and loving it. Question.. I'm not familiar with a lot of X Posed modules, and I don't see a theme chooser, or a way to change themes. I've read the bobcat theme is baked in, is there a way to change the theme of the ROM?

If your on your downloading to your phone, either use the mega app or when in chrome use "request desktop version" but still that sometimes doesnt work for me.

1. S-pen doesn't work at all. Is it normal?
2. 3G doesn't work with my local SIM here in Russia. 4G and 2G are OK. While my old Galaxy note 2 works fine with 3G. Is it possible to flash some other modem for my 910T to activate 3G? Or some other tweaks?

Please do not pm me to respond to your comments posted on the thread. If anyone has faced your current issue, I'm sure they would jump in to help you. As for me, I've never faces this problem and everything you mentioned for me is working flawlessly.
Did you clean flash? Did you try a different kernel? Try different steps that can possibly fix your issue.
Also make sure your custom recovery is up to date when flashing.

I just got the gorgeous S6 Edge Plus three days ago and I love it!
As soon as @Chainfire and @bigbiff figure out how to root and create a compatible
twrp for these two new arrivals we will need a new ported @BoBCatRoM.

Unfortunately that will be a device ill be passing on, I'm quite upset with their decision in making a Iphone lookalike and removing the SD slot and IR blaster. If it had the SD slot even i would have considered it for sure as the IR i dont use often. Big upset..
Have you ever seen the WiFi USB flash drives?
They look like regular USB flash drives and you use them just like standard flash
drives but one step better, they don't need to be plugged into a computer to transfer files.
You can have it in your pocket while using it just as if you were using an external SD in the phone.
Best of all they cost approximately the same as normal flash drives.

Default kernel should Rock the battery life...anyway test it to know it
converting system apps to user and vice versa and uninstalling few unnecessary apps with link2sd creates system ui crash and boot loops.... For example two launchers r present in this ...when I uninstalled one launcher boot loops occurred...

It doesn't stop ..check again servers are perfect

During the call
it only records one side voice when the call is active

It says "failed to execute the update binary script" and stops flashing.
The same thing happened to me with another rom (Mokee)
I tried rebooting the recovery, but it was still the same.
I'm currently on AICP and that flashes fine for me.
Please help as I really want to try out this rom

You need to update bootloader using the method as in this link:

Even after rooting my k3 note all thanks to kangel bro, but still VPN is not working in my k3. Plz any expert help me find a way to make VPN work in my phone. Currently only problem I am facing in k3 is 4g LTE not working ( has K3's FDD bands are supported with carrier) and all VPNs available on google are not working. Plz will any new ROM for k3 will resolve my problem

I am a beginner and i dont now much aboot root, is this method safe if i follow the steps? can you post a video for us who we are noobs? How i install a rom after this method and what rom do you suggest for eu, i want to have gapps.

I'm trying the impossible, I'm trying to create a AOSP and every flash if the ROM is much, otherwise it blocks the installation. Quiet, you're on velvet ...

Hi! This tutorial is too simple, only few actions
The method is fine for the firs stock ROM I had. After rooting and upgrading to VIBEUI_V2.5_1519_7.113.1_DEV_K50-T5_WC72 I lost root and the method doesn't work any more.

Bro still after adding this Rom and after rooting my phone again but still i am facing the same problem VPN and 4G Lte both are still not working in my phone. Ok H+ network is enough for me But Vpn is a must for me, Plz is their any Rom or a way to Fix my VPN problems in my K3

and with all of them I'm having delay of about 15min.

Hi, I am using this tool but for the last part I can not find the mentioned .zip file anywhere, that SuperUser must have created.
There is not SU or SuperUser folder on the phone anywhere, and also no files can be found in the common folders like 'downloads' etc.
What am I doing wrong?... Where can I find this file???

One small thing that could useful for someone.
I did not manage to restart in recovery mode with 3 button combination,
that is why i did it with
adb reboor recovery
command.

Everything works fine apart from google play.

Ok dude. There is a tool made by the master @xancin automatically installs CarlivTouch recovery.
Instructions and more information can be found here. if you do not mind using a translator. regards
Lenovo K3 Note problem
Hi,pls help!
I rooted my Lenovo K3 Note as described...Uninstaled Chainise apps. Then phone constantly chrashed and apps icon in settings desapeared.
I flashed it then and instaled new rom but it is older version of Vibe Ui and it sais it is Beta,it is not a multilanguage version. I lost recovery too now it does not support install zip from sd card.
How can i get CWM Recovery back and get a original multilanguage Vibe UI?

I saw in another post that the kernel source got released, Im new to this, I was reading a post about how to create custom roms and all that, and i was wondering , we do need root access to get the system files and all that to begin working on a rom ?
What i wanted to do was basically a full stock lollipop rom, but with the Axon Software ( Camera, Dolby Digital, and a few other things ).
I dont have any background expirience creating roms, but whats leading me to this is , loving the phone but hating the toggles, and a few other software bugs ive encountered.
I have some programming knowledge, and I will make this my little side project if theres any chance for it to be done. If anyone has some background and wanna help/teach me, ill be thankfull.

I know right ? Well, If by any chance it can be done, ill keep trying. I guess first we need root.
I would like to support this and I have some java and c++ programming experience. The only problem is that there hasn't been any word on root methods or bootloader unlock methods. Supposedly ZTE phones come bootloader unlocked already, but I haven't been able to prove this since we can't access the bootloader via fastboot :/ if we can at least get root that would be a good start.
Marshmallow on Axon Elite?

I came across this poat while checking for new ROMS. If this checks out I would happily go for the Elite as the price point and features are value for money. For those of you who do have it can you confirm that this is actually a Marshmallow ROM.

That's what I thought but beyond that has anyone managed to actually get the ROM and verify it to be working?
I am on the cross roads for a new phone.

I am on the Lux model and it's full of Chinese software that I can't even read and I have no access to google apps.

I was hoping to get the Elite and be able to flash it as the phone had a lot of potential!
You need to install Google Play Services and Google Services Framework. You will need to sideload these apk's. You will need to Google them.
Please, how can i upgrade my ZTE AXON Elite to Android 6.0? Is it posisible? Thanks

When will a custom ROM appear for the Axon Pro?I hate all these chinese stuff and i would like to have the option to reset the phone and redo all the Gmail account,without the phone asking me for the last gmail account.I bought the phone from a friend and i did a reset later that day and it kept asking me for the old account.It sayd that the phone was reset and needs the old account and i couldn't go forward because it kept connecting to google and asked for the old account.I had to use my friends account again to use the phone.I want a simple rom,without this stupid connection to google and other chinese stuff.Any idea when a rom will be available?
No clue but now that you have your friends Google account you should be able to delete it and add your own.
I'm surprised that there isn't any custom roms for this phone yet,i mean its a phone with 4gb of ram,810 Snapdragon so its pretty powerful.

I did a factory reset and it keeps saying that the phone was reset and i need to enter the gmail account that was previously entered.I also tried entering 15-20 time in a row ,because a lot of people say on forums that on note 4 and other phones if you enter the wrong account,the phone will reset and it will let you enter another account.On ZTE this doesn't work .
