Cant play pokemon go with xposed installed

Hi!
I have been trying for few days to get pokemon work with xposed installed in marshmallow 6.0.1 but with no luck.
I have almost tried everything that I have found in this forum and google.
My phone is Xperia XZ F8331
I have no problem play pokemon on nougot with rooted and magisk installed on my device. Everything works fine but no xposed on nougat for now, I want xposed on my device.
So I downgrade to marshmallow 6.0.1
I root my device
I install magisk
I hide root using magisk hide from pokemon
I start pokemon without any problem.
I install xposed using magisk and restart
Starting pokemon and getting no gps signal error. Pokemon wont start.
Is there any way to get around it? I have been trying everythingto get it to work but with no luck.

Try Root Switch app, it can be found in the suhide thread here on XDA. It will hide root (SuperSU) and Xposed.
Magisk can't hide Xposed at the moment.

I am using suhide with SuperSU and Root Switch. Everything works fine.

What ROM are you using ? If you wan't Xposed to work with PoGo on MM builds, the better is to get rid of Magisk as it seems to complicate things more other.. also install latest systemless SuperSu, Suhide and Root Switch and 86.2 Xposed Systemless. For me works perfectly on post November security patch's ROM (CM13)

Update suhide to the latest version (v0.55). The message "do not support systemless Xposed" can be ignored, it works fine. Make sure you have deleted "su" file from /system/bin and /system/xbin. Also, make sure SuperSU is installed in systemless mode (you can check by opening SuperSU app and scroll down to "Install SuperSU in system mode". If it says "can't be done in systemless mode", then everything is okay).
Also check if your ROM has the security patch level from before November 2016 (Settings -> About device), otherwise it will break Xposed.

It's nor working for my Xperia XZ or Xperia Z3 or Z1.
The only method that works to play Pokémon go with root for me is in Android 7 and only with Magisk.
Ill wait for a working xposed for Pokémon go for nougat, hope it happen soon. Thanks for trying helping me . I would have been glad to see if it really works for guys, I don't think the above method works, not for me anyway.

Safety net check has all the info regarding our device and it's officially oem rom.It checks it using internet by looking your device fingerprints.i had same problem with one of my device where i was not even able to run Pokemon go with stock no tampering at all as that update was officially given to me as beta by oem.It worked only when i left beta n went to official one.it has to do something with CTS profile as i was getting a mismatch before.

Pokemon Go detects Xposed installer?
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 running the stock ROM, Android 6.0.1. I ran the Xposed installer. The installer warned me not to install it because it's not compatible, so I backed out. I haven't been able to play Pokemon Go since this. I was getting 504 errors in Google Play store. I was able to fix that. Pokemon Go installs from the Google Play store now. If I clear the data for Pokemon Go, I can maybe catch one Pokemon before the screen pops up that says I have an incompatible device or OS if I'm lucky.
The Xposed installer must have left some trace of itself on my phone.
Is a factory reset the only way to fix this? Will that even work?

Cannot install any apps after installing Xposed framework (-504 error in Google Play)

A few days ago I posted a question about not being able to install any Xposed modules here, so far no one answered: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-framework-installed-running-t3567230
I thought this problem had something to do with the modules specifically, but it turns out that on my phone, for whatever reason, installing the framework subsequently prevents ALL apps from installing, even those from Google Play itself, displaying a "-504" error.

Please, if anyone has any idea of why this can be and how to fix it, let me know. Any help will be infinitely appreciated!

One thing you could try is to install systemless Xposed through Magisk. Then use MagiskHide to hide both root and Xposed from all Google apps and potential sources of conflict. If it's a software limitation/conflict, this may be a workaround.
Keep in mind that you will have to root your phone with Magisk rather than SuperSU or any other form of root.

I am using a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua E2306, rom is 26.1.A.1.112 Latin America Generic. It is rooted and with TWRP installed accroding to this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/root-e2306-m4-aqua-guide-t3270521
I also have a locked bootloader, and it cannot be unlocked, so unfortunately that shuts the door on most rooting options.
I never heard of Magisk before, but from what I'm seeing, it looks it TWRP is required to get root with Magisk, but some kind of root is already required on my phone in order to get TWRP. So I'm not sure how to go about this.

If your phone is already rooted, then you can download Magisk Manager application and have it installed it's necessary frameworks through the app itself. You won't be able to use Magisk's root, but you'll still be able to install systemless Xposed and hide it from other apps.
Edit: Ignore all of that actually, I just realized that magisk requires boot image modifications so you have to have an unlocked bootloader to use it.

Oh well, thanks anyway. I might try it anyways, maybe it will work, you never know. Don't have much to lose at this point

FIY Magisk cannot hide Xposed...

I also facing these problem on my rooted Asus zenfone 2 (ze550ml 2gb ram version, Stock ROM, bootloader unlocked) and Asus Zenpad C 7 (p01y, stock rom, bootloader unlocked). The xposed firmware (version 86) is successfully install but can't install any apps from play store and using apk...
I really hope that dev team can solve it.....

I'm getting the same problem on my LG G4 with v88.2 of Xposed :/

I don't Know if this is too late,but I also have this problem. But there is a work around, go into the xposed installer and turn the switch off so its disabled on the next boot. rebot the device and exposed and its modules are disabled, allowing you to install apps from play store and downloaded .apk files... it would still be nice to install applications while its still on.

I had this issue on my LGG3. This happens when you have Lucky Patcher enabled in your xposed modules. Disabling it (Lucky Patcher) should solve the problem.

Magisk safety net fails not sure why.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S4
I rooted the stock Samsung rom with SuperSU prior to install Magisk
At first I couldn't install 13.3 I had to install 12.0 because of some unknown reason installing 13.3 I got the error image mount failed same with all previous 13. versions however now 13.3 is now installed and SuperSU isn't installed.
When I run the SafetyNet Check in Magisk it reports:
ctsProfile: false
basicIntegrity: false
I want to be able to use apps like Android pay and such
Can someone please help me with getting this to work

Magisk v12.0 can't pass SafetyNet without workarounds like Universal SafetyNet fix module (and since the last update to SafetyNet a few days ago I've no idea if that works either).
You can't use Magisk to pass SafetyNet with SuperSU installed.

I've got 13.3 installed and SuperSU isn't installed plus I've already read a lot on this subject and most of my searches did nothing for me that's why I thought I would make a thread to see if anyone could help me.

Interesting trying to start magiskhide manually does nothing.

You could have remnants of Su on your phone. Even if you use the full uninstall method you can have leftovers. Tried a complete fresh reinstall?

Oh it's working fine now installing Lineage OS and then install Magisk and it works perfectly.

With me my experiments with magisk in the past left some files in my data partition behind which makes safetynet fail.
I found them by going into twrp recovery, starting and adb shell and then executing find . | grep -i magisk
the two files i found were:
data/data/com.google.android.gms/files/backup_diff_script/com.topjohnwu.magisk
data/property/persist.magisk.hide
i deleted them with rm and safety net worked again.
So I can confirm that for my phone, unlocked bootloader, custom modem and custom recovery does not matter at all. But if your filesystem still contains traces of magisk, is a nono for google safetynet, pretty silly this road they are taking here.

Old device... If the kernel version is lower than 3.8 it'll likely not have support for mount namespace and MagiskHide won't work. A custom kernel or ROM might work...

Check your kernel version first (usually found in Settings - About Phone). If it's less than 3.8, ask for help in your device's forum for if there's any custom kernels or ROMs available with an updated kernel.

That's interesting. I get the same message on my old phone (running the 3.4.113 kernel), but I'm unable to even open Mario Run if MagiskHide is disabled. But when it's enabled, the game runs just fine. Is that normal? I thought Mario Run made use of SafetyNet... I'm using microG + DroidGuard Helper. I've tried running Android Pay, but I get this error message. But I'm not even sure if Android Pay is supposed to work since I'm using microG... What other apps use SafetyNet so I can try them?

MagiskHide can't do it's thing to hide itself on such an old kernel, but it can still hide sensitive prop values. That's why Mario Run works... IIRC it looks for ro.debuggable, on of the props changed to "safe" values by MagiskHide.

SafetyNet Check fails

Hey guys,
I've got a problem with the SafetyNet check.
Yesterday I rooted my Galaxy S8 and installed the Magisk Manager App und the newest version Magisk v14
Now I wanted to install Snapchat, but I can't due to the fact that the safetynet check fails.
I already reinstalled Magisk, unchecked,checked the box with magisk hide, checked the box for google play and snapchat in magisk hide.
I don't know what to do anymore. Do you guys have any tips for me please?

Try the universal safetynet patch that's in the magisk forum somewhere. I would link it but I'm in my phone atm and out.

Also, next time please post your magisk log here so that someone who knows what they are doing can look at it
I have seen someone else's log here, suggesting that you may need a patched or custom kernel for it to be supported. I don't have a Samsung phone so I can't confirm though.

But now I've got another question. How do i get xposed work for my phone without failing the safetynet check?
I wanted to install snappref but it won't work this way

For the moment there is no such possibility if Xposed is installed on Nougat to SafetyNet failed, without Xposed is SafetyNet Pass Green.

[MODULE] SafetyPatcher

This module hides bootloader unlock from the entire system, including GMS, meaning that stock ROMs can pass custom verification, as well as custom ROMs with magisk enabled. Module code is here. The actual code of this module (see post-fs-data.sh) can be used to pass safetynet on stock ROMs, even without magisk, provided your /system is unmodified! :angel::highfive:
The module is tested on my Honor 9 Lite, unlocked, lineageos 15.1, MM 5.6.3, Magisk 16.0

WARNING: phhusson ROMs, as well as official Google gsi's without a fingerprint patch cannot pass safetynet without V2 or higher, or magiskhide props config

Please open a root shell and run

safetypatch
and select option 1 to debug.
If, in /proc/cmdline, androidboot.verifiedbootstate is green, this module is functioning correctly and some other aspect of your system is detected by safetynet.
Note: Pie ROMs might need ianmacd magisk builds to pass any kind of safetynet. In my experience you need this module and ianmacd magisk.

is supposed to fix the SN ?

This is not for SN, but to fix safetynet fail. Use HCU to fix SN.

MagiskHide does hide a few system properties, among others an unlocked bootloader.

If you have an additional method for hiding an unlock bootloader, that would make a great addition to MagiskHide. You could open a pull request for it to be included in a future release.

Correct...
MagiskHide doesn't hide anything in the cmdline. If you're going to disclaim my module, at least do your research. Even in the README, I tell the commands that the module uses.

Calm down... There was no disclaiming of your module in my post. Just your statement that Magisk does not hide an unlocked bootloader. It does...
But of course, there are many different Android devices and there are many different ways of doing things, and they don't work the same universally. Which is why I suggested you make a PR of the method you have. :good:

I'm using a pixel xl on dp3 and this doesn't help to pass basic integrity. Both basic and cts are still failing

Official ROMs not designed for production use will intentionally force the system to fail safetynet. This will be detected and so fail

Do i need a custom kernel for this to work?
It's not working on my stock honor 8. I even tried it with magiskhide props config with a honor 9 and galaxy 6 fingerprint and play store is still uncertified which means safetynet fails

The two are related, yes, but one doesn't exclude the other (you can pass SafetyNet and still be uncertified).
Check SafetyNet with the Magisk Manager or a separate app. If it passes, clear data for the Play Store and reboot. That should be it...

Ok, for some reason I still can't pass. I've checked it with magisk and a separate app. Even after I factory reset my phone, flashed new firmware and the first thing I installed was magisk to try the safetynet and still I couldn't pass. First I thought it might be something in the new firmware so I tried a bunch of older firmwares which all had the same result.

I've checked it with magisk and a separate app. Even after I factory reset my phone, flashed new firmware and the first thing I installed was magisk to try the safetynet and still I couldn't pass. First I thought it might be something in the new firmware so I tried a bunch of older firmwares which all had the same result.

This is getting slightly OT for this thread (but that's up to @hackintosh5, of course). Take a look here (start with the Basics and then move on to the SafetyNet chapter) and if you still need help after that, I think you'd better move it to the General support thread:

Ok, I think I found the problem, magiskhide don't seem to be working. I get logs so logging must be on and namespace is working because there's no error on proc_monitor or anywhere else in the magisk logs. But if I hide a root checker our another app using root they still get root.
Do you have any ideas?

yes its on, i've added specific apps to try if they still got root and there's no difference when i check the box in magisk hide for apps

Apps can still detect root, even if you pass safetynet. Run the magisk inbuilt checker
