Hi i make a little modification to SystemUI on nougat, just centering the clock and remove carrier text on lockscreen. I tested it in debloated to the bone (Thor v2) rom 7.0. It should work in other roms too. Just replace the SystemUI.apk using root explorer, set permission 644, reboot.

What is your rom? It should be just replacing and changing the permission. Maybe you miss the permission part?
It's just for 7.0 btw, so what is your rom?

Flashlight works if we replace systeme ui from other roms, im using it. But they should permitt.

To fix flashlight you need to add some lines to AndroidManifest.xml in SystemUI.apk. I tried this but it didn't work.
Afaik editing AndroidManifest.xml destroys the signature of the APK so the system doesn't except the file any longer. To get around this you'd have to resign all system apps and all jar-Files in /system/framework signed by Samsung.
It's not worth to do this for the flashlight feature. Just disable flashlight in the QuickpanelSettings App.
I personally use a version with modded lidroid-res.apk (different Icons):
The screenshot shows german icon descriptions but the provided version is in english.
If you're interested in the german version you can get it here: Lidroid 14 Statusbar Toggle Buttons German
Just replace the lidroid-res.apk in /system/framework and set permissions to rw-r--r--

Let's enable the CRT-OFF effect in stock JB deodexed.I have aleready decompiled framework UI but it s set to false config animation in bools.xml. So it remains services.jar and policybalbal .jar. to modify .I cand find the correct valuse to modify so let s get together to do this cool animaion.
Any suggestion help greatly appreciate it . I can test on my phone .

Let's do this ! i succeeded only in decompiling services.jar modifyng like s3 mini and when the phone is locked and i press power button it turns off and then turns off with a delay that i think it s the crt off animation but can t succed in modifing the correct mali for andorid policy.jar and i want to try yo set to true the animation value in bools xml from resources.apk but i can t recompile apk tool gives me an error with brut words don t know why GOOD luck waiting for your answer !

Hm, I tried today. And I didn't make it work. My back button somehow become button that locks screen. You can send me what to modify, ans where. I can decompile/compile after. This would be good learning for later modifications.

I Didn’t test it with Serajr Xperia Xposed , But its A Modded "Stock" And Serajr Xposed Module Needs Stock ==> it must work .
Tried xposed module and works like a charm with gravity box.

Hi there , sorry for being late , Nexus Image SystemUI WON’T work on your phone and it will cause bootloop .
Make sure that the required Build Number of my modded SystemUI , is the same as yours , then do a backup before trying .
This mod work S6/S7/S8/S8+ and all others Samsung Rom (TW)

Need Custom Recovery : Yes but if havent and your just rooted you can put the file by yourself ...
Follow directory of zip and file right permission in updater-script

I don't have the samsung apk in that location. I have custom recovery and installed the zip. It didn't make any difference. Let me try to install the apk and try it again.

I'm on a sprint note 3 running lollipop 5.0 and it works great. I downloaded the apk by the way.
This should also work on kitkat , if you have twrp flashzip it will replace existent apk in system/app , after reboot you should access to all font in your flipfont section

Maybe your root directory is mounted as "read only"
