If you want to combine an edge effect with one of the wallpapers would have to do it manually... if you have one in mind I can wip it up for you, I'm pretty good with photo editing straight from my device.
Just let me know if you do (witch 2 you want combined)
They are really meant just for edge only and the rest of the screen is pure black (saves more battery) and you can fill the rest with apps and widgets to your liking.

My psds won't teach you much I'm afraid.
Theres not much to making a glassy / glossy effect, you just draw over the item you want it done to with a circular shape (easiest to work with). Apply brightness, white to transparent gradient. Just think about where the light is, keep having a go on photoshop

Yeah I got the one rar with the psds just noticed now actually as I am sitting down to work on them. I think thats great you would do that. Changing those colors is as easy as just messing with the hue/saturation. I already have a few of them done. If anyone else wants custom colors I would be willing to do help out.
So here is one I found missing. An icon for email. I used the files PSD and found an envelope online hope you all enjoy it. This is using the Thick Glass PSD.

Noticed a glitch on FlatLoader slider, there's black line on it.
No idea where it's coming from. I've tried to mess with it, with no luck
Screen is 720p if it matters.
Oh and your slider isn't even near to pixel perfect, which is downside for me.
Is it possible to make it match the screen resolution, so it won't get resized ?

This happens sometimes when you'r stretching the slider to size not intended to it... Try if you center the slider and resize it so there is a 1x1 grid space on the bouth sides of the slider...
And yes.. my sliders are pixel perfect, the thing is WidgetLocker cant tell the right size they are intended to use since they are based on plane PNG.s and not vectors...

i've tried Nova and Themer. ended up sticking with Themer because i wanted to try something different than I'd been using on my previous phone (nexus).
neither launcher got in the way of edge functionality, such as it is: assign colors to contacts, ticker when phone is off.

hard to say. i'm coming from the nexus, so i had **** battery life. now i'm able to go from waking in the morning to going to bed without having to recharge, which is amazing to me.

Its more of to get feedback on what people like or don't like. We have a bunch of these type of threads over in the V20 section, it helps users to discover the themes and we can get feedback. Theres at least 5 threads from different users using this approach. I already have a few testers for the sake of bugs, so there shouldn't be any but you never know.
Also its here for requests, if you look at my preview image and like what you see but prefer a different color I could make one in the desired color. I am currently working on a Aqua theme at the moment....
Here is a preview of what is in the works now... What do you guys think, is the background too much? I'm torn, I like it but it makes the text harder to read...

Thanks, I've got to change some more colors and it should be ready soon. I added some dark blue to add a little variety but I don't like it. I'm still learning what is what on this phone.

Aquifer should be in published tomorrow! I changed a few things that you could see in the previous screen shots, and changed other things I didn't show off. The green is my favorite color, but I am really happy with how Aquifer turned out!!

In general nice theme, love the colors, but the wodden background is not my thing.
For me it was better in the first and also in the second preview.

I switched to the wood so that all the text was easy to read, I didn't want to create issues with the text. I'll continue to play with it and see if I can get the drops to work out better by darkening it or something. I see what I can do for an update

Wallpapers have been around forever, in smartphone terms. There are two tribes to the species: Static and Live wallpapers. The static ones don't do much besides simply being aesthetically pleasing. Live Wallpapers on the other hand tend to be busy continuously running animation loop to entertain–or perhaps distract–the phone owner.
I felt that something was missing here with choices available, hence Why I developed this concept of a Wake-Animation wallpaper.
The idea in a nutshell is to have something greeting you everytime you unlock your phone–think of a dog eager to show 'I am your friend, here at your service! –yet won't distract with continuous animation loop.
To built my first WAW I used original art by Stephen Najarian, a talented illustrator working in the Fantasy genre.
The way the app works is: you would set it to both Lockscreen and Homescreen in Settings->Live Wallpapers. When the phone is Locked, you will see lockscreen image that may appear like a puzzle with some ambiguity to interpretation. Once the phone gets unlocked though, the wake animation starts playing, and the pieces to the puzzle fall in place, finally revealing an image from Najarian's series. This short story visually unfolds in under a second, while your Launcher dishes out the icons.
For illustration, here the Locksceen on the left shows fragment of a beast up-close, which may not be that obvious at a first glance.
As you unlock the phone and beast comes to life shooting lightnings all over, it becomes clear this is another one of Najarian dragons awakening.

There should not be an issue with battery consumption, as most animations are under 1sec long. Besides, I am working on a Settings screen now, where you would be able to set how often the Unlock animation will play : once an hour, once a day, every few mins and so on. Stay tuned, another test version comes out in few weeks with this, and screen adjusted for big-screen form factor

Could you share please the Android version, and what phone is that?
Not sure exactly what you mean by "while I swipe", more detail would help pin it. Since it's not a continuous animation, I am not sure where exactly a lag could happen.

Very beautiful live screens, I would gladly install them on my phone, but unfortunately my device is too old and the battery will be drain quickly...
It's not a live paper, shouldn't drain battery

You can play it just once a day
Set animation frequency in Settings: once an Hr, a day and more options
