Hi all! I have unlocked S8 with T-Mobile firmware, but for some reason, my phone isn't letting me know if sms/mms was delivered. I have set all the options in Samsung Messages app, properly. When I text to another Galaxy user which supports advanced messaging on T-Mobile network, then I do see "delivered", but not other people.

I'm looking for an app for my Captivate (Serendipity 6.4) for sending SMS over WiFi.
I'll be traveling in Eastern Europe with messages to/from the USA. Google Voice is not an option.
Texdro
or Droid2Desk
sends through your phone, to and from your desktop
cant send through the net...
Sorry, I should have mentioned that there is no desktop involved.
I need to send/receive SMS messages from my Captivate over WiFi in Europe to messaging phones in the USA.
Look at "text plus" and "text free"
Hello , I heaving problems with automatic sms forwarding from my TAB , I tried many apps that can do that but I don't understand why they don't working on TAB ?
I receive sms on my second phone,Galaxy S, and with sms forwarder I'm regularly receiving sms on my TAB , but when I want to use same apps in opposite direction that doesn't work
Those anyone heaving similar problems ? I tried 5-6 apps on the market, on Galaxy S they all working fine but on Tab none of these apps not working.. I tried two-three different ROMS, also STOCK
Any help? Thank you all for your time!
Sorry, the problem is with GO sms application, with default sms app everything working fine
@Emrax - You're correct, Go SMS does not coexist nicely with other apps that also need to see incoming SMS'. I assume you have Go SMS installed on your Tab.
The one exception - our app PhoneLeash that does SMS forwarding (with capability to reply) and many others (locate phone, missed calls). More details here and at www.gearandroid.com
I just acquired an ASUS Memo Pad 7 LTE tablet as a freebie from AT&T for upgrading my iPhone. The ASUS Memo Pad is the first Android device I have owned. The tablet works very nicely - except for one thing: I am unable to send or receive SMS text messages. It came pre-loaded with "Hangouts". When I try to initiate Hangouts, it keeps insisting that I confirm the phone number (which the device correctly displays) by entering a confirmation code that will be sent by text message. This confirmation is never received. It appears that the device &/or Hangouts is trying to send the text to an Android phone that does not exist. In despair I have tried some other SMS text messaging apps, such as MightText, but on all apps I have tried it seems one must have an Android phone in order to receive this pesky confirmation code.
Is there some way to have a stand-alone SMS text messaging service (app) that does NOT require an Android phone? (As noted above, I do have an iPhone.)
All/any help & advice much appreciated.
Hello would like to know if there's any Message.apk mods for samsung s20 FE Tmobile that you can install thru twrp so we are able to send more video MMS without limitations??
How did you get twrp on the t-mobile is variant?
mms is limited by the carrier, not the device.
only real work-around is to use google messages and enable RCS (both sender and receiver must have RCS enabled), or some other messaging app (whatsapp, etc)
If you are lucky the Samsung messages app may also have RCS enabled as well.
Not sure why I can't receive messages. Im using Android Messages and I'm able to send out messages but don't seem to be receiving them? (Sms) I'm in Verizon. I have the Chinese version. Im able to send out calls and receive them too, but I'm not receiving messages. Any help?
Make sure chat features are turned off on the last phone you used.
allow all permissions for the app and the app set as default
