DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Obviously not a lot has been ported to Lineage so please don't report issues related to missing features. That will be ported over soon (TM).
Also you need custom TWRP build to install these packages, you can find link in the OP.
BTW: You might have to force reboot after the gapps installation is complete as the unofficial installer is bit buggy ( you can do that by holding power ). Also it doesn't support addon.d so it doesn't persist when updating to next builds.

You shouldn't really be running custom stuff if you can't rescue your devices right away lol.
But if you really insist there's images / zips toggle in install menu of TWRP.

Starting from 20160702 nightly build we require MM firmware.
If you're running LP firmware it should fail saying that "asus.verify_trustzone" assert has failed.
In order to update your firmware to MM one you can either flash ASUS MM rom in stock recovery or flash a package that will update your FW which you can download right here

Starting with 20160803 nightly we ship partial TFA9887 support for ZE600KL.
All you have to do is flash this to have a working speaker.
Notes:
- flashing this on pre 20160803 nightly builds will cause bootloop.
- you have to flash it every nightly, I don't plan to add OTA survival script.

Sometimes speaker and mic are not working while in call..a reboot fixes it
File manager not shiwing mmc files its showing same folders like internal storge, themes not present ! (leave it if its is a noob qstn ) advanced reboot not present,

I tested the fix and it actually works great
Oops, apparently wifi is broken. Sorry for not testing builds before releasing them.
I'll release new builds within 2h, here's a fix if you want to do it yourself:

Hello, thank you for your porting first.
I'm using zenfone selfie(z00ud)
after I finished installing,
my first thing to do was to see whether the screen is flickering.
The screen's boarder flickered like an old lamp in any circumstance displaying picture, taking picture and playing games.
It happened since cm13 to lineage os 14.1 to this now.
Asus stock rom doesn't have this problem, hope you can solve it.

Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Did you do a clean install? Wipe everything while moving from one android version to another.

Yes, of course I did. This way works perfectly but I don't have my DATA, more precisely, I don't have my banking app's data. Titanium Backup is useless in this case and if I were to restore only the /data partition, the same problem would happen again. I've been doing that dirty install for a long time and it hasn't been a problem for me, I just clean install when I do some unrecoverable sh*t, which in this case, I can make use of the restore function on TWRP. I clean install when I used to downgrade to another Android version too, but I don't do this anymore.
And now I remember, Google put some verifications on the Oreo's boot process, maybe it's the reason for all that.

As I am a so called BuildBot, I don't know how to fix bugs for Lineage 17.1, I have a build for XXU Lineage 17.1 but it is very buggy. I am building LOS 14.1 because I wanted to revive this because the only thread for LOS 14.1 has dead links. Or if someone has posted in threads are the older builds.
I can build any ROM you like with any android version I can try to manage.
Also no ETA's xD
