I have Tech21 cases for my Note FE and Note 5, all great quality. Super protection but can be expensive. I have ones with the flip cover.

They are designed for superior protection. I only use when I on holiday and treking etc. Too bulky for office use.

They're good for protection. I just don't like the look of them.

I did not like the look either...

I have a tech21 case on my s8+. It's pretty thin, fits the phone perfectly, and has handled a couple of drops fairly well. The material is TPU, if I'm describing that right, and it's roughly the same profile as a spiegen neohybrid without the plastic outer portion. The thing I do dislike is the power and volume buttons do not protrude very much, so I often find myself looking for the buttons instead of finding them by touch.

I have a Tech21 case on my Note 4 and have loved it. Good look, made out of some high tech tpu formula and fits like a champ. Going to buy one for my Note 8.

Pre order price for the latest Note8 flip case seems a bit high
https://www.tech21.com/en_gb/evo-wallet-galaxy-note8-black

I used to use Tech 21 slim case, but started using Spigen Thin case. Slim, durable, and 1/2 the price of Tech

Slimmest case that protects

Hi, I'm buying a G2 and was browsing the cases that are available for it. I don't like any of them - they make the phone extremely ugly and bulky IMO. I like spigen cases, but they only have the slim armor, which is maybe the least ugly of all, but still would love to see something similar to the Hybrid Neo. Any idea if such a case actually exists (stylish and protective). I really like cases that provide good grip too.
Incipio Feather Shine?
Doubt it'll offer much protection though.
Have you seen the ringke slim yet? It's, like it's name implies, super slim, and has a nexus 5 feel.

5$ eBay leather pouch. Slim, protective, hassle free, still makes your phone not look like a 400$ brick. Take it out, use it, put it back in.
Most of the slim cases will give you protection to the back side at best, while screen, the most important part, stays unprotected.

Honestly, the dual pro as a pretty thin profile considering how much protection it offers. Slight increase in size but not an uncomfortable increase

After trying a few of the most popular cases on Amazon I ended on the Spigen SlimArmor. It's by far my favorite case for the G2 I've found. It's pretty slim, makes it feel and look premium with the metalish back, and protects the front with the little lip. I've dropped the phone a few times to and it seems to be doing a great job protecting it and the screen. Plus I really like the color. Everything I want and needed.
Only con I have found is the head phone port is really small and most plugs do not fit.
Still has my vote!

It' s gonna be the melody or dual pro. The spigen is interesting too, but i heard it won't help if you drop it on the front
How wide and thick is the slim armor ?

I cant find this case for the verzion version do u have a link?
I was huntig a slim case. And I mean slim like ultra super so I looked at skins and remembered that I had a roll of vinyl veneer lying around.
It is protective, not adding any bulk at all and looks quite good according to all who sees it.
Had a quickviewcase but its like dragging around a flappy brick and it´s not preserving the slim design of the phone.
The veneer is not lasercut with precision (used a sharp blade and a hairdryer) and it is a first attempt with what I had at home.
I cannot add links to pics
I use Poetic Palette. Real slim.First time holding it. Its so smooth, could slide of my hand, but overtime is good. I guess, i got used to it.:fingers-crossed:

The slim armor doesn't add much, but it is noticeable. I recently purchased the diztronic and while it is very slim, it's a complete POS. It doesn't even fit the phone properly, I can literally jiggle the phone around inside of the diztronic.
I like the Speck Candyshell. It's a little pricey but it fits great, has a nice low profile and makes the phone feel protected. I'm also rockin the Cruzerlite Bugdroid case. It's very low profile & fits like a glove.

I would recommend to have a look at the Cruzerlite Bugdroid Case. It protects the phone fantastic and and has a nice grip to hold the phone. Also there is a nice Android art at the back of the case.
Phone with that case doesn't look too bulky at all. For me it looks slim enough.

I am actually considering that too now.

Now I'm looking at the cruizerlite , this one and this one
The cruizerlite is a safe bet I guess. What do you think about color - I have a white G2, so maybe the clear case will be the best.
Oh, and one more thing - I have the D802, but don't know what the differences are between sprint/t-mobile, AT&T and D802. I understand that Verizon version is completely different, but how about the others. What model sold in the US us similar to my D802

That's not a hybrid case. Hybrid cases use more than 1 type of material like a polycarbonate back and TPU bumper. The Tech 21 is the thinnest hybrid case I gave so far besidssbrhe Ringke; although the Tech 21 case is taller.

I ordered one, you don't feel the lip as rough? How about feeling the parts where its purposefully cut? I want grip, but will not sacrifice a premium thickness or feel for it. I was thinking this or the Incipio Feather.

My wife tried one on her s7e. This case has a polycarbonate back, which is hard and slippery. Perhaps the back protects better against drops, but it also is going to cause them, too.
She's going to try a TPU back with PC bumper next.

I have the Ringke Air but it's going back to amazon. The fit is perfect, it's really light, has a grippy but medium-quality rubber grip, but the left & right sides of the case are too soft & loose. They sometimes lift & peel off when you pick up the phone by its sides. If they made the rubber around the sides a bit rigid, it'd been perfect.

Ringke Slim for sure!
FazeRN I like your way of thinking. There are lots of good choices on the site. I will add a couple. These companies are specialized in power cases with the difference of possibility of upgrading the case even further. You can get upgrades like laser pointers, better camera lenses, environmental sensors, specially designed VR packs etc. Nexpaq and I-blades are the brands that will set the bar for smart cases in the future. Take a look

What screen protector do you have on your S7 Edge?

Ozrly glass protector + spigen rugged case?

Is this still a viable combo? I had it on my oneplus 2 and it was good, I plan on buying a new case and cover when I have the money.
Also, will it look ok with having the black ozrly screen cover on a white model?

Not super duper thin, but the OEM cases (sandstone) are great, rocking the blue one right now
Also waiting on the pitaka case, they should be making one since they made for 8/8 pro. Weird that they haven't posted any announcement or anything stating that it is in the works

Is the Latercase thinner than the official oneplus sandstone one? I'm also looking for something thin as this phone is slightly wider than ideal for me, so a huge case is a deal breaker.
