[Q] New ROM Kangvip P7 L09 B125

Hi everyone, Kangvip has release a new ROM for P7 L09 found it from Chinese site. My question is,, can I flash it using twrp in my P7 L07? Pls advise, I'm a fan of his ROM and been using his ROM in my P6.

I think it's risky. As far as I know, ROMs for the L05, L07, L10 are interchangeable. A rom for the L09 or L00 may brick your phone.

I've just tracked down this ROM. Like you, I want it. It looks really really good. Looking at the specs for the L09, it seems to be a cdma phone and thus not compatible with 3G gsm networks. Maybe I'm wrong, but my instincts tell me the firmware is just incompatible. I do wonder though, if it might be possible to take parts of this ROM and swap it into a ROM that's suitable for our phones. I just don't know enough unfortunately. Perhaps others viewing these posts may car to comment. For anyone interested here's the link to the ROM:

It will be nice if he is able. I downloaded his L09 ROM as I thought I might be able to learn from it or perhaps extract something useful. Sadly, the zip is password protected. Any suggestions?

He Has ALso Posted for P7-L07 L05 ... i am Downloading From Pan.baidu.com and Will Mirror in Few Hours ..... GOdamn Pan.Baidu Is SLow .... But The Rom Has Exciting Features Such as Split Screen Cant Wait to Flash . ... ROm is of 735 Mb So I will Definately Mirror it After Tution Till Then U Can See The Thread Located Here

I Think it is The Same Rom There was No Difference in Screenshots or Anything Else
Edit : I Checked and There is V1.1 ... I Will Download and Upload Till Night Time in Kuwait GMT +3

No Need For Password . Just Flash in Twrp ... The Advanced Settings in The Settings are already Translated if You Choose English Language ,

Spanish Should Most Probably Be Should Be Included .... Currently The Download is at 85% ... Pan.Baidu is Too Damn Slow .... The P7-L07 L05 Version ( The One I Will Upload ) Works on P7-l10 .... Just asked Huawei Mobile Romania using Facebook Messenger about this update, lets hope ill get an answer soon about it. Probably the update will appear on phone in waves for users. I think if we need to wait a bit for the update to show up.

Lol :cyclops: i had a P8 lite single sim branded in Vodafone and I unbranded it and updated it to MM.
What I sayed is that, being an oficial update, for sure it will soon be available using OTA.
So dont asume i cant do a manual update. I just prefer to wait a bit. CHEERS

Thanks for the link,but there is a problem. For the first, i'm a new user of Huawei,so i still don't trust this phone like the old one and i can't test everythyng on my own. On the old one i failed a lot of times to install the rom,but wasn't a problem. I was sure i can repair it every time. I made the update to Marshmallow, B560 if i'm not wrong,but in that archive was only a file, UPDATE.APP, , but there are more. So i'm not sure if the proces is the same or not. I don't want to risk and break it

well don't do it then... there are a lot of guides and tutorials on how to update... and because it's an OTA you won't lose your data and apps.. @Azzureux You don't need to wait, it's the same if you do it manual(in Romania o sa ajunga sigur târziu deci nu văd de ce să aștepți)...

if you download and install manual via local update it's same as getting through OTA, you wont loose your warranty, how many time do i have to explain this?
your warranty is voided only if you unlock bootloader or rooting your phone but for these 2, you can undo.

L31C432B371 Firmware. Nougat is this it?

On checking the FF there is a download for L31C432B371. I am away so cannot download. Any ideas.

There are two files, one of 1.24 GB and one o 400 MB~, there are both B370 and B371 but changelog does not say anythng, it's just a description of EMUI 5. The 1.24 GB one is marked as FullOTA-MF-PV and the 400 MB one as OTA-MF.
Maybe they are a full update and additional package with the missing apps?

Open Hicare, update Hicare, agree to terms of system update, download and update to b370 or b 371.

In an hour I will be back at home and post the links.. be sure to save bootloader unlock code and to make a backup to be save

Hey. I have just bought Honor 9 lite just to get into the field of android ROM development. In fact, right now I am downloading Lineage OS 15.1. I am still a noob so don't expect any results from me. But can you share the twrp image with me so that I too can backup my partitions before I start building and flashing.

So, I just want to honor the 9 Youth Edition when it comes to los15.1. Or how long will we have to wait for Downloads

Thanks for taking the time to do this, don't worry about the delay, we've been waiting for a while for a full factory image so most of us don't mind waiting a bit longer.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the full image? From Huawei PC suite? Another website? Or elsewhere?
If it from another website you could just direct us there if it's easier.

This suggests that OP has 2 files:
1: a TWRP backup
2: a Update.app file
Which I assumed to be an official OTA, maybe downloaded through the HiSuite PC suite.
There is an option under the check for updates menu that states "download latest full package" so it could have come from there? Although that's never done anything for me.
OK so Looking at OP other posts on here, it appears he had a bad flash resulting in a bootloop. He managed to download a full system image in the form of a update.app which he copied to his SD card & is uploading.

@JamesBott and how is it going? Maybe you can use a public hotspot like in McDonald in order to upload the file if your home internet connection is not sufficient

- i am extract update.app 3.8 GB. out update.zip; and extract recovery_ramdis.img & header and system.img & header.
- flash this 2 img and phone run

Good, and if you can capture it too via Packet Capture app. Open the app, start recording, press the check for updates button in Syste updates, back into the app and you will see System Update a couple of times and inside of one of them you can find the link.

I'm on 206..still nothing.. Not downgraded.. Just official stuff

I have LX1C432B206 and I don't have the beta available.

I got C432B206 and i don't find any beta programs useing the given apk.

I have C432B206 and no beta here.
It's a bit strange how troublesome it was to get the beta app working at all. The link to the app through the HiCare app doesn't work and the page is broken. A Google search brought me to the official site and the APK hosted there is version 2.2.20 and it fails to login. The APK in this thread is 2.2.25 and the app works. However as stated no beta program available.
