Wow thanks, downloading & installing now! Will report back later :good:
Hell yeah!
I was waiting for this ROM since I bought my device 7 mounths ago.
Happy with AEX, but Lineage still is the best to me.
Trying it right now!
Thanks a lot.

I recommend you to check zukfans.eu too, this rom was posted there for a month or two, and I think there's more content there. Check it out.
You're right I'm only on XDA, I'll check zukfans too. Thanks for the advice.
Hope LOS will be at least at the AEX level!

I installed the lineageOS from zukfans, it came with chinese bloatware. So thanks, but no thanks..

Thanks for your report and stay turned for new release!
Yes it seem very good. Does it support quick charge?
I've noticed one issue: camera works only using the back one, but nothing using the front one. Screen remains black.
Tested Snapchat, Footej and OpenCamera: the same....
@Ninnix96, dude you are GOD FINALLY [email protected] is working really in 60FPS and not at 50FPS and is VERY sharp video, the only think now is that I don't have any sound I there whole ROM, probably because I've installed over custom kernel void32 with Dual Boot patcher, definitely the best ROM so far and I've tried them all, believe me and the only Nougat ROM which record real [email protected] and the sound and the picture is synched

Yeah I can confirm, front camera is not working. I was just in time for screenshot, black screen & FC when you try and take a picture with front camera.
Front camera not working, same issue for me.
Other than that I want to say thank you dev! This rom is the best for me in terms of battery use. My tests show only half as much battery drain while using apps and like 20% idle drain compared to AEX, which I previously favored in terms of stability.
Thanks at all for the report, I will try to fix front camera in next build, with stock kernel sound work fine at all? And give option about the battery and charge!
If someone can send me a log of front camera FC can help me!

Awesome! Thank you so much!!!!
Clean install , micro open gapps, NO Super Su installation and so far i don't need it since I use the Root access in the developer options. Advanced Reboot options working fine. No problems so far. Top grade release with the option to update from CM directly
Thanks nvertigo67, deadman96385
Wow!
Just installed latest nightly with F2FS in /data and /cache. Super fast booting, performance its awesome. Wifi working great so far. Audio sounds loud and clear. OTG working good. Thanks to all developers for doing this, it's really really a good rom.
Is TWRP still OK to use as recovery?
Still testing... Camera doesn't work at all. Bluetooth ok. Battery life ok, gaming performance ok (Test with geometry wars 3 and Pacman CE DX). IR blaster working great.
Amazing. How did this happen? Did someone from the CyanogenMod project reach out to you or vice versa? I'm just interested in how that happened. Congratulations, @nvertigo67 and thank you. Smoke 'em if you got 'em

I never said OMX issue is not present in 1210. It's even on last testbuild - second last testbuild has the right files.
Both will be fixed in next nightly build.

HSDPA signal in the status bar right here, and 6mbps download speed. Great work Olivier, ROM works great and battery too.

Backing up and installing, i'll report my feelings asap
Edit:
Installed and tried. ROM is sooo smooth, seriously, better than LP. Xposed is working (so i am waiting for fully working rom ). And yes, there is a problem with network switcher. It stays at LTE, and can't be changed to any another mode (2G/3G) BUT on selected LTE is only showing EDGE signal when i have HSDPA signal where i live.
Is this rom working with multirom? I can't check because I'm not in home. BTW. Great job and thumbs up.

The reason as to why your ROM is "super smooth and fast" is because it's just an ALPHA, and you had even installed a PICO gapps package - that's NOTHING for a device with 16GB storage. Basically, all CMs (I've been a fan of CyanogenMod since CM7) are meant to be fast, unique and smooth, but you can't really say that a CM ROM with only the most basic functions can be slow and bad. Especially on a powerful phone like ours.
And one more thing I'd like to add to those who are unexperienced - because you'll all lose DRM keys when you flash a non-stock ROM (which means awful camera quality at night and weird noise on photos), don't flash this ROM. It's not the time to do it, because you'll spend a lot of time backing up and restoring data. Better wait for a BETA version, in my opinion
Either way, big thanks to the OP for this, I'll definitely try and find a way to make a donation for this project. :good:

Thanks for that. Found another one bug. After locking the screen, phone don't woke up. More precisely, does not turn on the screen.
@Hunter Mossberg Which version - hydrogen or helium???
Its a very good build (considering 1st of its kind) :highfive:
congrats to @karthick mostwanted , @ffboy2009 , @chaubeyprateek
Because of your hard work soon we will get all types of ROMs - fully functional.:good::fingers-crossed:
This is very short review from my side
Hydrogen device.
UI is fluid, smooth.
Working things -
Wifi, network both SIM, bluetooth, back light buttons, fingerprint unlock, dt2w, mtp, ftp, gallery, live wallpapers, split screen, recent app clean.
Not working
Camera (some driver issue)
SIM specific network settings
torch (related to camera issue).
Some network fluctuations.
Still cant be used as a daily driver as camera is essential but I am sure our devs will come with totally stable build very soon:fingers-crossed:
Thanks for the hard work and keep it up.
Woah...Nougat bits ?

Long awaited LineageOS 18.1, thanks!
Long Live to Sagit
Thank @NeoArian
How good its the first version of it? Or should we wait a bit more before flash it?
Dirty flashed, it seems fine except stuck at MI logo about 2 mins every boot up. Charging, will update battery tomorrow.
Wow, this was totally unexpected, thank you @NeoArian!

This is just the first official build. We have done plenty of builds already to bring it into a good shape. The build should be fine for daily usage for sure. I'm using it as daily myself since half a year.
Thank you for sharing your excellent work with us, @NeoArian .
thanks a lot
Any success with dirty flashing over 17.1?

Thank you
Already did a dirty flash from TWRP and it works well so far.
A small issue remaining is installing Magisk, which I haven't been able to install yet.
Edit:
Magisk works as well. Follow the instruction on Magisk site.
Had to patch boot and flash it. I did it through TWRP instead of ADB.
Big thank you @NeoArian
Thank you for your hard work!
At the moment I am using MIUI 10 Global 9.6.27 beta, with unlocked bootloader. How to change from MIUI 10 to LineageOS 18.1 - any special things to consider?
Made a clean fresh install, encountered the same bluetooth issue, https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/3529. Everything else is great. Thanks again Arian for the great work.

great!!!!
Excellent work thank you!
I have an issue with AA - as as soon as I connect my phone to the car, Bluetooth disconnects, and am unable to play music through the car speakers. Instead, the music comes through the phone speakers.
Anyone faced the same issue?
I also had the Bluetooth issue mentioned above, but solved it by disabling HD in developer options.
Cheers!

This is just bad timing for Sagit that bluetooth got ruined upstream, issue fixed now, so next build, the bluetooth issues will be gone.
the offending two commits that caused the issue:
https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Bluetooth/+/310548/
https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Bluetooth/+/310616/
and the fix that got merged already:
https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Bluetooth/+/310818/
https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_frameworks_base/+/310819/
it works like a charm!
for a newcomers, don't flash the gapps after the first opening, it will cause a lot of problems, flash gapps right after the lineage os flash.
thank you for your hard work
Hello everybody, I have been using the rom since yesterday and everything seems to be ok. Only the paypal application does not open correctly. Does anyone have the same problem as me?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

It's happening to all of us (see the "Known issues" section above). Updating some vendor blobs should fix it, but I think I'll need some help with it.

Right now I can use the ROM with all animation disable ( still cant disable status bar animation ).
and again thanks for your work.

Probably a week, but I don't know if I'll be able to find a fix.
Thanks for working on this tablet, looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. I have one of these and its sister (Tab 4 8+) and they've been reliable for me, but only because the dev community keeps them alive!
So the main issue with this is a GPU lag, right? That being the case, I wonder how difficult it would be to switch to freedreno+mesa?
And come to think of it, the msm8917 (snapdragon 425) is basically the same as the msm8916 (snapdragon 410) found in the Dragonboard 410c, which is very well supported by upstream kernel and moderately by AOSP/Linaro. Probably wouldn't be too terrible of a job to get this thing running blob free on upstream code.
@adazem009 Can you port it for Lenevo TB-X304L

I can't test properly without actually having the device, but it's possible. And I'm already busy with a lot of devices.
Hello is there any update about this rom? I was thinking of trying it but I have seen the lag problem and I use it to play. I'm using your Lineage 17.1 Rom and it works really good you are doing a incredible work!

1. Yes, a new build is coming in a few days. Unfortunately, the lag issue still isn't fixed.
2. I've tested some games and they're working fine. It probably depends on HW acceleration in games.
3. I didn't build LineageOS 17.1, that one is by @highwaystar_ru .
