They're the same size. Gray ones are a little more hard, black ones are more soft.
The softer the tip, the more grip the tip will have.

Thank you. Aesthetically I loved the black tip, but I like how it grips the screen. I feel like I'm really writing. Now I know it wasn't my imagination.
I did use my spare Note 7 tips with my Note 5 S-pen, so I'm used to the fine point. It's nice to have the real thing again, though.
Which tips are better for IQ Shield screen protector? Black one or gray one? Or let me rephrase it: which tip is less likely to leave drawing marks on the screen protector?
Try yourself ?

It rocks.
I got the camel colored one. I don't think I'll EVER use my bulky Zenus case again.
The snap-on cover gives me a great grip, looks very nice, and can be snapped on the front as well, to protect the glass when transporting it. All four corners are nicely protected, as well as the back. Also doesn't wobble as much when on a flat surface.
Doesn't add too much thickness, and has a nice little ridge around the outside edge that makes a great place to rest a fingertip/thumb. The leather quality is very nice, and the embossed Galaxy Tab and Samsung logos make it look very classy.
I'll shoot some pics when the light is better.

That's the one. I got mine from here:

Here's the black one: http://www.expansys.ca/samsung-gala...ver-black-high-end-leather-1-piece-us-205930/
Took awhile to arrive using the cheap shipping option, like over a month, but then again it was holiday season and bad weather on top of that.

Since you're in Vancouver, I'll take the black one off your hands, could always use a spare.
Has anyone tried the bulletproof screen protectors http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...=WATCHING&nid=70263295442&skus=Color:1.+Black i think they are legit but i wanted to see if anyone had tried them.
I wonder how near the edge of the screen they go because the edge of the screen is curved down, at 0.4mm thick you would feel an edge with your fingers
I don't see the need why should I use a bulletproof screen protector for my Note. I think I'll be better off with a bulletproof vest instead.

If you live in the States, having this screen protector and put your Note II in the shirt pocket is a MUST.
By the way, this is my 100th post on XDA
I kinda like it and might order one cause I like the color options. I purchased a nice one from the ATT store the day the Note 2 came out for Verizon. Its sorta like these, it covers the whole screen and just has little cutouts for the buttons but its a grey color and wish it came in different colors.
Looks like shipping will be a while but I'm gonna take a plunge and order one. The current one I have is thick and have no issues with the S-Pen.

I have one right now. Sensitivity is awesome and same with the spen. As someone mentioned there is an edge but with a case for your phone it covers it fine. I love the feel of this screen and I will never go back to any other protector. I highly recommend it.

Someone was saying in another thread that has since been deleted that the voyager 2 screen protector (which is nearly identical), fits in a defender case. That leads me to believe it won't be a problem with most protective cases.
Edit: I ordered this, too bad it won't be here for a month
i would love this if I could get it in light blue to match my mercury light blue tpu case.

I installed the Skinomi clear matte skin on the back a few days ago. I'm really not a fan of how the back glass feels. It's slippery, attracts fingerprints, and gets slimey.
Personally, installing this has made the phone feel so much better. Plus, if you're going caseless like me, you mostly retain the original look of the phone.
For the most part, I did a decent job installing it. I put too much pressure on some parts when getting the bubbles out and dented the skin (it's wet install). Those are the odd looking spots in the pictures. Otherwise, all the bubbles came out over night. It also comes with clear matte sides and a font screen protector, which I don't plan on ever putting on. I recommend this is you're not a fan of the glass feel!
Edit: Here's a video that seoulbrova did of the clear skin (non-matte) https://youtu.be/K1kA2rK4y7k
Wow. I actually like the matte look a lot better. I might have to get me one of these.
Thank you!
Wow looks great I like it. Might have to do it too. Thanks.

Are you getting a substantial amount of grip from the skin? Its my biggest concern. I hate cases and even more so on big phones because the width is right where I max out now and a case kills the perfection of the width to body ratio. I saw the Sammy clear case with just corners but frankly the corners still look annoying, large and the clear case doesn't add much grip which is my entire issue.

I wouldn't say substantial, but it makes a difference. I would compare it to the back of the G4, but without the diamond pattern.

Do you feel like this is enough to give you the confidence to wheel it around one handed with no case?

Yes, but I was doing one handed without the skin too. I use pie control to put the home, back, and multitasking in the sides so I don't have to do hand gymnastics to get to the bottom of the phone. This way I can hold it so maybe 80% of the screen is accessible one handed. I think stretching your fingers to reach parts of the phone will lead to more accidental drops.

It doesn't add grip like the feeling of the Note 4, but it adds enough to make me feel much more comfortable when holding it. I compare it to the smoother matte back of the G4.
Yeah,it's cool. It doesn't look like it's on there. Great job! This is what I've been looking for. Thanks OP
i've got a crystal clear case for my white N5d coming in. this would be a great way to rid the glossy look which i don't really like.

It adds significant grip imo. You can see how I turn it to show that it doesn't slip off. It reminds me of tackiness on football gloves.

Nice video. I added the link into the OP. Hope you don't mind. I wonder how the matte skin vs the clear skin compares in grip.
I've received mine on Thursday, it's been on the phone for 2 days now.
The fit could be better, and the edges tend to collect dust but it does look quite nice.
The texture is not tacky and reminds me of matte polycarbonate.

I'm a big fan of skins as some of you may already know. I'm creating this OP to discuss and show off your @slickwraps skins once they get released. We all know they're coming, it's just a matter of time before its official. Is anyone else interested in putting a skin on their S7E? I can't get over how reflective it is no matter the color, so for me this is a given.
Update: skins are now live:

I'd like a skin for my new S7. Bought the dBrand Black Leather for my S6 and I think it's quite slippery.
Which should I choose for my next phone? Non slippery, with good grip.

I don't know since I've never had them on a water proof phone, but I suspect they will stay on as long as your not submerging it for a prolonged period. It's like using a screen protector in the water; it will stay but I wouldn't do it just for fun.

I'm hoping slickwraps releases the natural series for the s7 edge. I have the cork on my Note 5 and wouldn't put anything else on my phone. Looks, texture, grip, it's perfect in my opinion.

Black camo
black camo <3
I just got my black camo skin in yesterday and I like the look/texture better than my current black dragon skin. Like someone said above, the black dragon looks/feels kind of more like burnt wood or something. Not saying black dragon is bad/ugly in any way!!! I loved it while I had it, but I just prefer the look and feel of the camo.
How is the grip of black camo? Better or worse than black dragon?

Worse. Camo is smooth while dragon has texture.
Oh... that is not good then. Thanks for info guys.

Have both of them on my MacBooks and iPad and they both textured.
I prefer the black camo, it has great texture and doesn't wear off.
Black dragon wears off pretty quick and will look a lot like the black leather one after a while.
I have the regular matte black skin and in all honesty, I'm surprised how clean and smooth the skin is.
Reduces slippiness about 20%.
Increases the look (especially if you have the golden N8) because of the sweet accent color.
Nah, matte is slippery.

I don't really agree unless you're speaking relatively. I've owned both matte and dragon, and I wouldn't describe matte as "slippery". Naked is definitely slippery, whereas matte has some grip and the dragon skin has even more grip.
I meant in comparison with dragon. I want something really grippy. I ordered black dragon. Waiting to see it in live.
