AICP​Android Ice Cold Project​
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

- do we have tap and pay in settings?
- how's the battery life
Thanks for the rom, looks promising, and i am thinking of using it as a daily driver

does this rom has the same problem with some incompatible apps like ingress or xmod ?

I also has that glitch on stock theme after applying third party theme it fix up [emoji6] - edit for a moment :-\
Rom is promising but I prefer supersu to control root.. Can I put supersu?
I have tried all roms based on cm13 they are quite the same, more or less options and more or less complicated menu for now for me RR is a winner, can't wait for Mm aosp roms based.

Yes it is CM13 based a stated in OP --- good thing is you can flash it dirty (as I did) .

CM13 obviously. I made a lot of dirty flashes from CM13 to other ROM based on it. And one thing I can tell; it will work but it leaves some flags on or off on the system and you'll not have a pure experience with the ROM you are testing.
I reccomend to always make a clean flahs if you want to use the ROM on daily basis.

successfully started , I do not find settings to see recent applications

There is small bug. When you go to date and set to 24h mode, in right up corner on screen, time still stay in am/pm mode while on lock screen is in 24h mode...

By chance, last night I was looking for any AOSP based ROM for my ks01lte, so it was fortuitous to have you build and post this ROM.:good: Any reason you dint go directly with DU which appears a little more mature?

My device cant read photo in gallery? But I can see it in explore.

Hi,
I just miss some camera features of the stock ROM:
- Taking photos using camera HDR enhancement (they where lovely).
- Taking photos while recording a video.
Is there any apk (or any possibility) to run these on marshmallow?

I think you should use the Touchwiz-based ROMs to use the stock camera's features.

AICP​Android Ice Cold Project​
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
This ROM is built by me, Pacer_456 on my desktop, a i5 4690k, 8gb, 480gb SSD beast.

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Nandroid backup in TWRP
Format data, dalvik/art cache, cache and system
Flash rom
Flash gapps that are compatible with nougat and the device, I used OpenGapps 7.0 Mini Arm
Reboot
DO NOT FLASH SUPERSU. THIS ROM HAS SUPERUSER. I WILL IGNORE ALL COMPLAINTS RELATED TO SUPERSU.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

It does not have all CM/AICP features, although they have some, but they are working on it and I will be updating.
And as far as I could tell, everything seems to be working on my xt1541

As it's based on cm so for dual sim users SuperSU won't work though rebooted but no network signal. Plus there's a status bar bug,clock percentage and icon won't change,as it's very early state, over all good performance, rebooting time is lightning speed.

Currently on the us997 device.
I've flashed the 20170727-1426.zip build with open_gapps-arm64-7.1-micro-20170727.zip and for some reason I'm getting a black screen directly after the "choose network for setup" screen. Rebooted, still a black screen. The screen is on—you can see the volume popup.
I just wiped, re-flashed the 20170727 but without gapps this time. Now I'm getting "Setup Wizard keeps stopping"

Mount system, then using file manager go to system/app or priv app and delete " setup wizard" APK then reboot. Will get you past that screen

Wide angle camera is not working for AOSP based ROMs at the moment. Camera quality is good. But you will need to get a camera app from the play store like Open Camera.

Yes. Focus is not working right on the camera at the moment. I think it's the same for all AOSP ROMs.

Nice rom. Not sure if I haven't set something up correctly however fingerprint not working? Can't input PIN or PW & get a message saying it has already been changed, try other method? Thanks

Which ROM were you using before? Did you unlock your bootloader just before installing AEX?

Yes, unlocked bootloader & I was on CN .229

You probably didn't remove the lockscreen security (fingerprint, pattern, password, whatever) in your previous rom before unlocking the bootloader. You won't be able to set lockscreen security in any rom. If you want to fix this:
- Lock your bootloader
- Install ZUI Q with QFIL (11.5.229 required but 11.5.381 recommended)
- Boot the ZUI ROM but don't set any lockscreen security at any moment
- Unlock the bootloader
- Install TWRP
- Format Data
- Install the custom rom
- Boot the custom rom and set lockscreen security
