Are UAG cases screen protector friendly? - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Accessories

Wanted to know this before I order a UAG. I had the note 7 and THE UAG case would pull up all screen protectors. Hopefully they changed things up for the note 8.

i preordered the uag monarch for the note 8 and i think they are screen protector friendly.
atleast for the s8+ they said so on amazon and also alot of youtube videos proofed this. so i think it will be the same for the note 8.
it all depends on how case friendly the protectors really are.
for example the whitestone dome should work fine with uag cases. no test yet for the note 8 but they did on the s8+

Supcase Unicorn Beetle PRO Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Review

Hey Guys,
I just received my Unicorn beetle case. I did a short review and what I like the most about this case it the fact that it does not cause my screen protector do bunch up or curl. I am using film based protector as most of us are.

Thanks for the review. I got one of their cases cheap off a deals site for my girlfriend's iPhone 6 and it was pretty nice. I'd be interested in one for the S7 Edge for sure.
I picked up the unicorn beetle and I love it.. It has a nice hard back with tpu bumpers and feels awesome in the hand.. Also has a nice raised lip to help protect the screen.. I love suocases, had one on my 6p currently have one on my son's tab s2 and now on my s7 edge..
Nice review and thanks! I have my Unicorn Beetle Pro in Gray arriving tomorrow from Amazon, faster than I could get it from Supcase. Also happy that is handles wireless charging.
FYI, Amazon has a deal of the day on these cases $4 Off.

What screen protector are you using with this case? What brand and is it the case friendly or the full size protector?

Found online for anyone also looking for this information:
This case, the Galaxy S7 Edge Case, Unicorn Beetle PRO Series, SUPCASE Full-body Rugged Holster Case WITHOUT Built-in Screen Protector, provides ABSOLUTE PERFECT PROTECTION when used with the Galaxy S7 Edge Ultra HD Screen Protector, ArmorSuit MilitaryShield.
Because there “was”, theoretically, “no way” to protect the screen on the S7 Edge, the AT&T sales representative, tried to steer us away from the S7 Edge. But, YES, there is a way to provide ABSOLUTE protection for the phone.
Note that there is no screen protector in this case, the same as every other case for the S7 Edge, but the addition of the Ultra HD Screen Protector, ArmorSuit MilitaryShield, makes the phone an absolute dream, with all the protection you could want, and, oh yes, we love the phone.
Note: We found a very nice way to assemble the screen protector with the case.
1. Follow the directions given with the screen protector very carefully.
2. After placing the protector on the phone and “molding” the protector to the round edges
3. **Make sure the protector is placed properly and is partially dry
4. Carefully install the FRONT face (ONLY) of the Unicorn Beetle PRO Series SUPCASE, while the phone is resting on a table. DO NOT move the phone.
5. Check to make sure the protector is still aligned properly. (If not, remove the case front and reapply).
6. **Don't touch the phone for 12-18 hours.
7. After 12-18 hours attach the rear portion of the Unicorn Beetle PRO Series SUPCASE.
8. Enjoy your phone, knowing that it “IS” PROTECTED.

Ghostek nautical? Any good?

Should I get the UAG Monarch. Ghostek Nautical, or the ARMOR-X case? I can't decide but I want the best protection I can get, if there is any alternatives I would love to know what they are!
Thanks

Decided to go with the Ghostek Nautical. It's a nice case with excellent protection, including an integrated screen saver. The two downsides are that the S-Pen is very difficult to remove and headphone use requires an extender, which dose not come with the case. It reminds me of the Otterbox Galaxy S7 Edge case that had an integrated screen protector.
I've seen at least three other cases with integrated screen savers (all available through Amazon) but have no experience with these:
1) Love Mei Water Resistant Shockproof Aluminum Metal Super Anti Shake Silicone Fully Body Protection for Samsung Galaxy Note 8
2) Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Case, SUPCASE Full-body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Galaxy Note 8
3) i-Blason Galaxy Note 8 Case, Shock Reduction / Full body Bumper Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Note 8
I have the UAG Monarch on order. I've been using their cases with every single phone that had one available for as long as I can remember. I always had their standard cases (now called Pathfinder) but they apparently aren't making those for the Note 8 and I hate the transparent cases. So this is my first Monarch, I'm sure I'll love it just the same.
I have the Ghostek Nautical. It's not to great to be honest.
The photos when using flash are blurry and have the halo light effect.
You cannot get the S-Pen out unless you have small fingers or use another object to try to remove it.
It's kind of depressing because this case was awesome for my galaxy s8. Only reason why I decided to use it for my note 8.
I got a Nautical, and honestly its not worth anything near the amount sold for.
The one i got the power button did not work unless you hit it with a hammer. The fingerprint cut out was not aligned with the phone. The plastic feels cheap. and due to a reflection from the case, its impossible to take a photo with flash with the cover on.
Highly disappointed.

I'd say go with the OtterBox Defender, tried and true. If you are paying $60 for a case might as well go with the Defender.
I understand wanting to protect the phone, but looking at these cases they are unbelievably bulky. Sturdy yes but wow, the added bulk. What are you guys doing with your phones that you need such a massive case? I'm genuinely curious as my last case was a Bear Motion for the Pixel and it didn't even cover the top and bottom. And even now I'm only using the Rinke smoke TPU case.

I have a thick protective case instead of paying monthly then a deductive for insurance, especially nowadays that everything is glass the phones are too vulnerable to drops. Sure I'd love to rock the phone "naked" and show off the amazing design but if I dropped it I would be extremely pissed I just broke a $1000 phone.
I don't understand why some find it to be a problem that others want to protect their 1000 dollar investment some ppl work in accident prone jobs we need protection I don't like spending multiple 1000s repeatedly.

I bought a Ghostek Nautical for my Galaxy Note 9. The s-pen cover does not close. After complaining to Ghostek and demanding a replacement case or refund, Ghostek agreed to send a replacement. It took two months to arrive. The s-pen cover on the replacement case also doesn't close. Don't waste money on their case..

Spigen GLAS.tR Nano Liquid for the Note 8

Decided to browse the Spigen site to see if any other Note 8 screen protectors were available. The NeoFlex film protectors are terrible.
Found this available now but not on Amazon. Wondering how protective it could be, and what are the downfalls. I don't see it being easily removable.

Pelican Protector for Note 8

Loving this case! It's fully compatible with case friendly screen protectors. I tried it on my brother's Note with a Zagg Invisible Shield and on my unit as well which has a regular case friendly screen protector. ?
Pelican cases are one of the best . Used them on my iPhone few times and dropped them a few times and it held up good. Kinda hard to replace at least on the iPhone.
Looks like it has edges , personally prefer something with a rounded edges that reduces fatigue and feels easier on the hand.

This is one of the best cases for the Note 8. It also has real high sides for good side glass protection. Have over 10 Note 8 cases and this is in my top 2 favorite cases so far. Also very screen protector friendly.

Recommended Tempered Glass for Note 8

Hi,
Has anyone has or had the 'Mini Smile 3D 0.2mm 9H Hardness Explosion-Proof Anti-Scratch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - TRANSPARENT' sold in GearBest?
(sorry, can't put url links yet)
I know that the Whitestone is good, but its quite expensive (even on sale it was 30$)
and also the invisShield True Fit, that cost around 28$.
Which one do you recommend?
