It works on any Note 4 ROMs that have AOD.

Not sure, but I dont notice that the phone charge slower.

Have been using this tasker routine and is been working great except for the odd time the aod doesn't come on. I was playing with Samsung's good lock 2018 and found a sample routine which does the same thing. You just have to turn the routine on. Only just enabled it so will comment on here if I have any issues. Knowing Samsung I might end up coming back to the tasker option.

su -c 'echo 164 > /sys/devices/platform/lge-battery/power_supply/battery/temp_control'

It's only a visual tweak, only the notification you get while slow charging gets disabled by doing this, but the actual "state" still remains.

On v10d there are no thermal protection and it was just fine, if it's gonna burn let it burn LOL

When I use any charger, I get the slow charging message. Only with the original HTC charger it is charging fast.
I did not find another charger than HTC who will charge fast. Any ideas?

Disabling the energy tips?

My Z1 gets on my nerves with its constant energy saving tips spam. It does have a "click here if you don't want this anymore" below every message, it's just that this seems to do zilch ... nothing happens. I could not find an option in the energy options of the system preferences to disable this message nusiance, either.
Any ideas?
It should do, click on the option so its ticked then click OK
That's the prob, it doesnt get ticked... Odd.

I know that LTE sucks the battery. What if you deactivate LTE and just use 3G?
Restart the Phone.

Nah, I have this phone using LTE from day one I bought in March. This issue is only after the v4.3 upgrade.
Restarting do help sometimes, but I want to find out the root cause of the drain.
Do you flashed before this ROM a custom ROM?
Give a look to BetterByatteryStates or wakelock detector.

Nope. This ROM is a fresh installation.
I don't understand what BBS trying to say. Mostly I see the AudioOut_2 at top. What the hell is that? What is keeping the phone awake and using the CPU?
This wakelock is created whenever the phone has audio output.
Turn off all notification sounds etc. and vibration

How disable tracking fitness monitoring all time

I want to disable any kind tracking fitness activity as not being useful for me and doing that will see better battery life.
I try trough settings but didn't find any option for that.
Anyone know how to disable it?
Thanks.

In the Settings, go into Permissions and disable sensor access for at least ZenFit and Google Fit as well as Google Play-Services.
That should give you much more battery life as step counting alone can be very energy consuming.
Ok thanks.
I've only disable the first two not google services as I'm afraid not having any multifunction with various app or notification.

I was about to say the same thing, if you disable google services then
you will no longer get gmail and other notifications.
If you guys want to really save a lot of battery life simply disable wifi
and change it from automatic to OFF, that's the one thing which I
have found which noticeably saves battery longevity.
The wifi is intended as a backup services for notifications only.
I don't mind loosing bluetooth connection for a few seconds once
in a great while, so far I have not even noticed any difference
in my notifications with wifi in auto-mode or disabled.
Seems like Zenfit app keeps tracking even if body sensor permission is revoked? Is Android wear itself bugged or because it's special kind of bloatware from Asus?
Block it from access to watch.

how?
If a message from fit appears on the screen swype to the left until "block app" appears.

Doesn't that just block the message? it doesn't stop the app from tracking...

Ah, yes, looks like you are correct. Settings / Permissions / Zen Fit, then turn of sensor access.

Even if you turn that off, Zenfit app still keeps tracking your steps.
Then delete zen fit

Should I upgrade to Android Wear 2.0?

I just took delivery of my Zenwatch 3, and was reading about the problems encountered by those who upgraded to Wear 2.0. I also read a review of the ZenFit app which said that, after the 2.0 update, several apps could not be installed to the watch: Zenwatch Manager, Zenwatch Remote Camera and FaceDesign (all of which I would like to use). Since most of what I've read is from 2017 I was wondering whether there were still serious issues with Wear 2.0, and hence whether it would be wise for me to stick with 1.5?
Any views?
IMHO the performance is still worse than 1.5

How about the battery life?
Comparable.
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A3003 mit Tapatalk
In what ways do you notice the performance to be worse than 1.5 - is it with specific apps, or is the watch generally more laggy?
Apps and the Google Assistent need ages to start.
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A3003 mit Tapatalk
Just to flip the question around - is there any good reason to upgrade to Wear 2.0? I'm getting prompted repeatedly on the watch to install a software update (presumably to Wear 2.0). Is there any single feature that really sells it?
Hm, tough question...
Security updates?
Wear OS gets updates by Google, not by Asus (they abandoned the watch).
Janjan's OS was faster than default Wear 2. 0, but nowadays it does feel slow again.
I did not install his kernel, to be honest.
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A3003 mit Tapatalk
So in terms of functionality and features, you haven't found anything particularly useful in Wear 2.0?
Nope.
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A3003 mit Tapatalk
Hmmm....looks like I need to find a way of suppressing the software update notification that keeps popping up on the watch...
