hey can you dail *#*#2846579#*#* and see in network information query, vendor info if its hw spcseas
I would recommend you to flash B180 first and only after it the Nougat ROM, just to be on the safer side.
Don't use any other ROM than VIE-L29C636!
Its smart ph

If u update u will have C900 cust, do not recomend to use C636 Firmware. U need to debrand to C636 first since your phone is branded.
Sent from my LON-L29 using XDA Labs

Which firmware i can use to update to nougat? And is this a problem for huawei otg farther updates?
C900 is the region that you end up on when a firmware update has failed, in my experience. You will need to follow the procedure given in the link below. I have tried this and it worked for me.

Debrand on c432 and you are good to go. I don't believe you will have issues.

Huawei p9-eval09 oem info needed
sir,i came to know that you are using huawei p9 indian version mobile.if you have any backup file of huawei P9-EVAL09C675's oem info file I'll be more than happy if you send me here. I'm facing issues with debrand oreo update please send me that file if you have it.thanks in advance
Why don't you use Oreo instead? You get Project Treble, Vulkan support, a nicer UI and a newer kernel.
hello, I am new of this forum and very new to any form of upgrade.
I have a P10 with a firmware that says: D188-L09C432B101
on tel info it seems that both android and emui are old versions and I d like to learn how to manually update the firmware.
I have downloaded firmware Finder app but it says no firmware update for D188...
Any pointer for where to start?
thx
P10 model names start with VTR and not with D188 as far as I know. Are you sure it is a P10? If you try VTR-L09C432 in FF, does it indicate updates that are approved for your IMEI?
Edit: I did a quick search and it might be that something has gone wrong with rebranding your device. More info is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/huawei-p10-debrand-rebrand-update-guide-t3691013/page13

That is because something went wrong. That happened to me too... It's a missing file (should be 6).

Without debranding you must stay on cust c605 (Columbia?)
You can upgrade by HWOTA

So no way to update using the FirmwareFinder directly from that FW? I already run a lot of custom ROMs with Samsung and Motorola devices, it's my first Huwaei and I don't want to brick it...
(I'm from Brazil, but the phone was bought on Mexico or Colombia, I'm not sure)
Thanks,

Actually I see now you are on b135 which is probably MM EMUI 4.1 -in that case HWOTA as there will not work
I don't know about OTA upgrades from c605 b135, and why they don't come for you - but if you debrand to c432 you will have more options (OTA till b399 or even b502) and custom ROMs
Otherwise, DLOAD method must work for FullOTA-MF-PV versions (you can find FullOTA-MF-PV among older builds on FF) but you can't jump from b135 to b3xx, you must go gradually (people with c605 should know details)
