Hi.
Has anyone had any success with smart lock on the Nokia 8 ?
I select smart lock on mine and enter pin. Then I get another screen that says smart lock and nothing but a white screen.
Am I doing anything wrong or is this a bug?

A bug in the release version. Should be fixed in the OTA with the september security patch.
It's not fixed, I've got the Sep security update, and I'm getting the white screen. I don't think it's an error though, isn't it where you would have a list of places where Smart Lock works? If you haven't set any up, there's nothing to show...

You should have the options there to use face recognition, when connected to a safe wifi or bluetooth etc. I have read some people reporting that it started working with the Sep patch. You can also try going into Settings -> Security -> Trust agents (or something like that) and disable Smart Lock, reboot and reactivate it and it should start working.
CaseW. You still end up with a blank screen after putting pin number in. No selections like Bluetooth, on your body etc.
It's like the remaining piece of software is missing completely from the android install.
Mine had the security and stability patch applied last Thursday when it released. Still the same now.

For anyone with the same issue. Turn off smart lock in trust agents in security. Reboot phone then re enable. Smart lock then works and shows trusted locations etc etc

Looks like a bug. Hopefully Nokia patches it soon...
It happens to me almost every time when I turn off and turn on my Nokia 8. Then I have to remove security screen lock amd restart device. After that smart lock is back again. Bit your solve of the prob is better because dont need for input fingerprint and select pin or pattern again.

It seems fixed in the Oreo beta, no longer have the issue.
Hi. I understood that Smart Lock would work with an NFC tag but there doesn't seem to be this option in Nougat, does Oreo support NFC Smart Lock. Any info appreciated.
I had the same problem and it was solved by having only one Google account syncing. When I have more accounts (for mail for example), smart lock is blanc. When I only have 1 account, everything works!

Yes after last security update, smart lock doesnt works. Everytime when I switch on my N8 smart lock doesnt works. Then I go to trust agents, switch smart lock off and restart. After that goes again to trust agent switch on smart lock and then it works

I think you must wait until someone will release a new Diamond Rom with more free memory...
My first impression on the Diamond was great, but now I'm reading about lots of problems and issues...
For the battery problem I think the only way to have a better duration is to set backlight to minimum, wifi off, bluetooth off... Unfortunatly you can't do more than this..... Or maybe you could buy a different battery (a bigger one), but it'd increase the depth of your Diamond.....

I don't know about Tomtom's Smartphone version... But a full working version for PocketPc already exists... So we must only wait to see a Smartphone version (if it doesn't already exists....)
Non so niente della versione per smartphone... Quella per pocketpc esiste e funziona perfettamente..
Male che vada sarà solo una questione di temp, e qualcuno l'adatterà anche agli smartphone.....

A proposito...sapreste come moficare o almeno aprire questo file? http://rs252.rapidshare.com/files/124590846/update.rar serve per portare il cell dal linguaggio chinese ala versione inglese...mi piacerebbe trovare il modo di tradurlo in italiano...tra l'altro non ho capito neanke da dove arriva questo file, nn lo sà nessuno...

If so, I guess you can't change/backup your own rom....
Tomtom version depends on your device model... There are several versions which feet with different devices....

Tomtom 7 is the latest version.... So you have new maps, mapshare technology and a few other functions....
I guess Tomtom ONE and XL aren't version for pocket pc....

Si cambia come cambieresti quella di wm...vai sulla casetta tra le impostazioni e selezioni la casella "usa immagine come sfondo"e poi clicchi sfoglia e ne scegli un'altra.
Ragazzi, come mai non mi funziona la modalità landscape con Sense/Manila??

per il momento posso limitarmi a commentare l'aspetto grafico e lo trovo davvero bello ... qualche indecisione l'ho trovata quando si ruota il telefono da verticale in orizzontale nella sezione fotografica e musicale dal manila
Comunque per i lresto rom completa sempre di programmi e accessori davvero utili
un particolare ... ho notato che dopo aver installato la rom si è collegato al web .. come mai? Ti chiedo perchè ho tolto l'ottima laurentius26 Leo V2 per lo stesso motivo cioè si collegava spesso al web e mi faceva consumare le sessioni di 15 minuti di traffico internet ( vodafone) in poco tempo e la cosa non era piacevole
Premetto che devo ancora confirare tutto il cellulare dal meteo alle email dunque ancora la rom è originale ... ho pensato che sia il twitter ma ancora non ci sono entrato..... cmq lo terrò controllato e ti farò sapere

allora per la connessione all'avvio penso dipenda dai nuovi pack del leo...
facebook a me in wi fi funziona...
mentre invece,perdonatemi,non funge WLM,ora sistemo....
dovrei aver messo qualche indirizzo sbagliato....
per cambiare sfondo al manila basta che dalla homecliccate su "menù|sfondo home"
e decidete il da farsi....
per la rotazione manila le vecchie modifiche al registro non fungono...per il momento non ruota....
attendo altri vostri feedback

aggiungo che quando si scrive uno sms immettendo le iniziali del nominativo non và a prenderselo direttamente in rubrica ma bisogna andare su aggiungi destinatario
poi in start\impostazioni\personale\immissione non ho trovato la spunta per togliere la vibrazione alla tastiera per caso è in qualche altra parte del menù?

all'avvio se tappate sul tab Internet partirà internet,
per evitare questo,avviate Opera dallo start menù e da quel momento diverrà di default sul tab internet...non chiedetemi il perchè,penso dipenda dai file che ho modificato per settarlo in ITA

HTC Task Manager is not present in ROM,you can install it in cab.
Removing this task manager the general performance increase.
In ROM is present [B]FdcSoft Task Manager 3.1[/B] with more functionalities like registry editor for example.
If you don't want to install HTC Task manager,you can try Showcase 1.0.1b

Come e cosa posso disattivare da questa rom per evitare di avere in esecuzione programmi che non userei (es. TF3d) ? Basterebbe deselezionare dal today la voce di TF3d ?
Vorrei usare un programmino per le missed call, sms etc... ho provato "rereminder", ma non mi avverte...devo metterlo in esecuzione automatica o cosa ?

Just rename the .nbh file "BLACIMG.nbh" and put it in the root of your SD card. Shutdown your phone (no soft-reset) and then start in bootloader mode (Power button + Vol Down).
If your card is not a Transcend or a Kingston, it should recognize the image automatically and start the flash.

They're not apps, they're only themes for the standard 4x2 MIUI clock. They've to be put under /sdcard/MIUI/gadget
Of course you have to have a recent MIUI rom installed for these to work.

Dite che sia possibile quello che vi ho chiesto, cioè di mettere lo zero davanti al numero del mese (e magari anche a quello del giorno, ma è più importante per il mese)? Sarebbe graficamente più coerente.

Ok, ottenuto il risultato:
basta eliminare il parametro alpha dalla penultima immagine (in effetti è una formula per mostrare l'immagine solo se diversa da zero).
Ecco come appare:
Secondo me è graficamente più coerente
In allegato trovate (zippato) il file manifest.xml modificato: basta sostituirlo a quello presente, valido presumibilmente per tutti gli altri temi già postati da voi.

Ho provato su diverse rom, ma senza successo. Se hai tempo da perdere e soprattutto vuoi farlo, ma siamo a un punto morto finché chi sa non trova una soluzione

Perché dici questo? Hai provato con successo? Ne ho provati alcuni ma senza successo, tra l'altro non esiste una guida che spieghi passo passo cosa fare per installare una rom AOSP su questo dispositivo e questo mi porta a pensare che nessuno abbia intenzione di lavorare su questo almeno per ora. problema e non voglio davvero riprovare!

Have you done this? Do you have this device? Because if this fixes the issue, no one haven't said this as a solution yet, in the other post. So I highly doubt if this works. And i have no experience in doing so too.

Yaa finding tutorials and stuff for this is hard indeed. And I have no experience as I have only flashed one rom, and you know how it went, so ya, don't want to mess up again tbh.
