Looking for something that actually goes to the edges. I have one now thats "case friendly" and hate that I have a 1/4inch gap to the edge, and it literally covers the whole cool part of the screen being curved. Part of the screen that is actually on is uncovered on each side, it's lame, looks like I put one on from a different phone. Prefer that it's all clear
whitestone or no glass protector at all.

the only thing I've seen so far is the Gpel which seems to cover the screen almost all the way down the sides and goes almost all the way to the bottom and top. it works with the Gpel cases, not sure about other cases. it isn't a clear tempered glass though, it has the black bars on top, bottom and sides and it has the dot-matrix grid. I haven't tried it out myself but was looking for something similar to a real full coverage

I haven't tried it but it sounds very interesting. Be very careful when you choose a screen protector. I have had a Copter screen protector on my Note 2 now for 2 days and it looks like a dartboard. It's to soft for the. S-Pen stylus. Even before the damage caused by the S-Pen reading small text was impossible due to the structure of the plastic film. $20 down the drain.
Interesting find. I have moshi palm guard for my 17" mbp since day one and it's held up very well against my watch and tungsten bracelet.
interesting for sure.... I am waiting for Spigen to release there glass cover for the SN2. I am happy with there lines of things. I picked up the Valentinus however a bit leery since my cards and all touch the screen.

I tried it with my Note 1, and didn't like it at all. Although it did protect the screen and was definitely reusable, I always saw it and found it obscured the screen too much for me.
If you like the "anti-glare" versions of other screen protectors you will like it. There is only adhesive on the outer rim so it is impossible to get a bubble on the actual display. However like other anti-glare protectors it will reduce visibility. If you are used to the crystal clear protectors I would not recommend it.

I was wondering how it adhered to the screen, thanks for the info.
I really like going without a screen protector but I am thinking that it will add strength to the screen in case it drops or bends(sit on it)
Spigen said they aren't making it due to the curved glass.

I don't think it will give it any more strength. The protector itself is not that rigid.
I love and want to use something like Zagg or Best Skins Ever, but I haven't been able to find anything that also covers the sides of the phone. I'd like scratch protection on the sides too! Anyone have any suggestions or know of anything?
Just got an Xgear skin. The black leather is very slick, almost no grip. Thankfully, it's matte and doesn't pick up grease or fingerprints (my only goals). I guess it protects the sides. It covers the sides completely.
Don't get a Slickwrap. The renders show side coverage, but I got one and the sides are completely uncovered.
I have a quicksand case and don't have to use it anymore. I don't need any protection. I just hate the hyperglaze plastic.

Thanks for the suggestion! One question, how has it held up so far with the corners staying down? Also, does it have any screen protection to it?
Corners don't go down unless you use a blowdryer. After that, everything is "skin-tight." Had it on for a few days more and I'm not at all concerned about the edges coming loose and catching something. Just make sure you use a blowdryer (hair dryer) focused on the corners, then work your way around the edges, pressing the rein down and holding it down after you get it hot.
At $15 it didn't come with a screen protector. You could just get a screen protector for a buck or two. I don't use screen protectors, never have. Since the original Gorilla Glass came out, screen protectors seem unnecessary. If you're really afraid of scratching your screen, go ahead. You're more likely to drop and break it, and a screen protector isn't going to help you there.
The Xgear skin comes with panels for the front, covering the top and bottom bezel. The sensors and camera are not obscured.
Check YouTube for a better idea of the fit.
I also use gear. I have the carbon fiber one. Like hung0702 said, use a bellwether. I've never had the edges peel up but I use an aluminum bumper now. It offers protection and keeps the phone slim.

I am very happy to see Glass protectors finally for our Edge but disappointed that they are colored now instead of fully clear.....Wouldnt that make the capacitive buttons look recessed or sunken in now? I just don't like the idea, kind of like adding depth to the buttons...
Skinomi Tech Glass
thanks for the post I was on that page just a couple of days ago and that option wasn't there yet. Seems interesting as most full edge covered tempered glass screen protectors are black and that one seems to actually be blue like the phone is. Also about the clear/coloured the reason is the adhesive used would show at the top and bottom so I personally don't mind it being coloured as long as it matches the original colour. It seems it's the only way to achieve full coverage and not lose
the glow from the capacitive buttons by adding the cut out as it is 0.33mm glass. I think it'll still make the phone look amazing and definitely want to give it the best yet still slim protection and this seems like it'll be for now so I decided to order it even though it won't ship until around July 17th.
would it fully cover the phone screen?
I have one. I dont mind it but it doesnt cover the full front of phone. Doesnt interfere with viewing really but the only thing i don't like is the cut for the top spots is off slightly
looks like a gen 2 protector
i don't have any experience with this particularly product but let me tell you this is not a GLASS protector but a FILM protector like INVISIBLE SHIELD or BODYGUARDZ, so take that in mind before buying

How is the touch sensitivity? Especially around the edges?
Good! Thanks!
I got mine yeterday and sensitivity sucks on the left side. I'm off by tiny bit hen installing it and that could be the reason but who knows. I did post a picture in the Skinomi review thread in here if you want to take a look. Not sure if I have gen 2 or 3 but it does look great. Too bad for my left side sensitivity issue. Slightly getting better so there is some hope. Guess I'll give it a few more days.
EDIT: after re-aligning the glass, I don't have sensitivity issues on the left hand side anymore.

Skinomi Tech Glass screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy S6 is perfect. It does not cause any touch nor tactile sensitivity at all though I knew some did experienced touch sensitivity especially on the sides. what works is aligning the shield to the center.. really it works great as those expensive brands.. worth a try!
oh great
Any pictures of the gold?

That's for the normal screen protector, not the glass.
Do S7 screen protectors fit over the non curved portion of the S7E? I'd like a screen protector not to avoid scratches, but because after almost a year with the phone, the anti-smudge material has pretty much been depleted. I find that S7E curved protectors are mostly garbage - they're hard to install and almost always start lifting up at one edge or another. I'm not a fan of film protectors because they tend to bubble, which drives me nuts.
Thanks.

If the screen sizes were the same sure.. But idk. May cover the majority of the flat part of the screen but leave an area open

That's why I'm asking. Is the screen on the S7 the same size as the non-curved portion of the S7E? If so, I'd be cool with it leaving the edges exposed.

Not the same size.
They sell glass protectors that just sit in the middle of thw screen butbthwy look dumb imo.
And most wet install protectors will stick without lifting. Get a case friendly model and it will do much better.
Otao sent me their new screen protector for the Note 8, and I have to say, this is probably as good as it gets for normal stick on tempered glass protectors on this phone.
The box is pretty standard and comes with all the screen protector installation essentials.
The key to a good installation on any screen protector is making sure that your phone is clean and that you line up the protector perfectly. This is where the installation tray shines... I have installed protectors in the past on phones (feel free to look at old posts) and I can honestly say that this installation tray is the best one I have used... Initially I was worried because when I went to put the glass into it, it was tight. I thought maybe the sizes were off, but no, it was exactly the right size to make sure that there was very little to no wiggle room in there for the protector. This is good obviously because it only lets you put it in one spot, the right one.
Once you have it lined up, you just drop on the glass and make sure the edges are all the way down. (I just used the included microfiber cloth and went over them a few times.) Next you pop off the guide tray and you're done.
If you are using this screen protector without a case you will notice the increase in thickness, but it's not terrible. With a case however it fixes one of my biggest pet peeves.
You have to be careful when putting cases on when you have this screen protector installed because the bezels are so small on the phone that in order for it to actually protect the whole screen it goes pretty much all the way to the end. BUT this is awesome because the cases that I tried (ringke and rhinoshield) didn't knock off or move the screen protector, they came right up to the edge of it and sat almost flush. (I like this because I HATE when pocket lint gets caught between the protector and the case as I am sure many of you do.)
One thing I noticed is that while this protector does have the black bars all the way around it, it looks like they shrunk on the sides a little bit when compared to the Otao protector from the s8+. This makes it sort of a middle ground between the ones that have the clear sides but you can see the glue and the protectors that have black all the way around but cut off some of the screen. It's not perfect but I like how you don't lose much, if any of the screen real estate and you can only see a little bit of the adhesive.
Overall I would say that this screen protector (so far) is pretty legit. I haven't noticed any loss in sensitivity, no rainbowing, no clicking and no covering over any sensors. The dot matrix is visible under certain lighting conditions but that is to be expected.
I only just installed this protector and will update this post if anything goes wrong or changes, but if this is like my S8+ version, i'm sure I won't have any issues.
If you have any questions or anything let me know and i'll try to respond and get them answered.

Does it work with UAG cases? like the Monarch or the Plasma? those case really kills most TG protectors. even the domeglass. if you didnt put it on perfect, you can say 45 bucks byebye.
thanks.

I made the Whitestone Dome work with the UAG PLASMA AND PLYO. With a Dremel and sanding the corners. The PLASMA is my flavored case for looks and protection.

Edge only. Forget about full adhesive, except whitestone. I've ordered two classic full adhesive @ AliExpress. A joke Bubbles, not adhering properly on the right and left side. And well the UAG wouldn't have fit with both too. Opened a dispute for both and got my money back.
