hey guys can anyone pls suggest me which is the fastest nd d safest method to unroot ur phone as my power button id nt workin nd i hav to send to lg for repair.....
i have read about smart flash tool.... jst need sum suggestions
plus
i need link to download v20 f in .bin/fls format as i m frm india nd it is the latest update in india
Make the bin files on your own (without CWM injection). You can find the how to in my Noob Thread. First make a Factory reset then, flash with Smartflash, boot it up, make another factory reset (best would be including SD cart), just to really get rid of all the data, which might tell them, that your phone has been rooted and I think that's basically it Just make sure, there is nothing on your SD card anymore, as well and you cannot reboot to recovery anymore and there are nomore superuser rights on your phone.
I think there's no need for leaving the SD Card inside the phone..
They don't need your SD Card inside your phone in order to repair it.
easier, flash it with smartflashtool and restore your imei
(in development section)
hey guys i have instlled a stock rom thru smart flash.... jst 1 more question
hw to b sure dat dere wil be no trace of rootin nd to chk dat d rom i hav installed is nt rooted??
after smartflash you can be sure will be ok if you flash stock rom from your carrier :good:
wenever i do factory reset after initial LG logo the below attached image comes up (jst d background of the image no text) nd after that lg animation.....
is it ok??
If it's only the text, it should be fine. Just download quickboot and try to reboot to recovery. If it works, you need to flash again, if not, everything is fine
Hello, I have a problem with my phone and I need some help.
I tried to install Kit Kat 4.4.4 using recovery mode (CWM), the install process ran smoothly but it had some issues so I tried to install Lollipop 5.1.1 (CyanogenMod 12.1) 20150412 stable from novafusion using TWRP (v.2.8.1.0) but apparently I made some mistakes, I used the Advanced Wipe tool and deleted (Dalvik cache, System, cache, data, internal storage) after this I can not install any moded ROM.
The phone stays on the "Samsung Galaxy s3 mini" screen.
Can somebody help?
My phone model is GT-i8190L
looks like you need to head over to http://http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/, login & d/l original firmware for ur fone & region, then flash via odin, & start root, custom flash again.............carefully this time & be sure to make full nandroid backup before flashing so you can restore if problems occur......good luck & post again if you need more help

Friend but as I do if odin does not recognize my device?
Now install the drivers and still recognize it.
Hi guys Recently Samsung released 5.1.1 for our devices! So I decided to make a easy tutorial on how to install TWRP on our devices (unfortunately without root).
1. Download newest odin from Here!
2. Reboot to download mode.
3. Download this file TWRP RECOVERY
4.Flash it with AP option.
5. Done! Now You should be able to boot into TWRP Recovery.
Info
Can I restore my previous custom rom now?
Yes and no. I tried restoring two roms. AOSP and TW, aosp had a bootloop then successfully booted, and TW didn't seem to boot at all.
Does it root my device/Can I root my device now?
Nope, not yet. I tried to make a custom rom with root built in but it was stuck in a bootloop.
Why would I need this?
Well. Now You can restore Your rom, and flash other roms(Some may fail due to a newer bootloader).
Any bugs?
Sometimes first boot after flashing this recovery might bootloop, but just remove Your battery and turn on Your phone again.(Happened only once to me)

Yes... I did manage to restore the backup image of 5.1 as I ended up in bootloop while trying for the root access. So far OK with at least TWRP is working.
I have a question, If I'm on 5.1.1 and I've installed this TWRP, By using this TWRP RECOVERY, can I install 5.0.1 custom rom via zip file?
I do not mean to restore my backup rom. I mean I do a fresh installation

It seems to bootloop roms that need 5.0 bootloader. But AOSP rom that runs on 5.1.1 boots up without any problems. Just during boot You might see message "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" and then the rom should boot up.
I flashed twrp via odin and it says pass then reboot after that when i try to enter recovery it get me to stock recovery any clue why is that and how to solve this ? v.v
Thanks a ton bro.
thank u so much guys

Hi I could really use some help here my phone had some trouble so I had to wipe it out and reinstall the 5.1.1 lollipop when I did so however I lost the recovery partition I was using TW RP I have since tried to reinstall it and Odin says that it is successful yet when I try to boot into the recovery partition I get to default recovery partition that comes with the phone I've also tried using the CWM recovery image and it does the same thing says its successful but I can't boot into it because it boots into the default one any idea what is going on and what I can do. I should also note that I've tried reinstalling the 5.0.1 version of lollipop and that has failed in Odin any ideas would be greatly appreciated because at the moment I have no way to root my phone I can't flash the custom kernel that's needed for 5.1.1 or anything else for that matter please help thank you

Easiest way on odin is make sure auto reboot is unchecked. When its done unplug the cable pull the battery put it back in boot into twrp Let me know how it works out for you.

Lets get to bussiness.
At first, when I'm still on lollipop I didnt knew if i need to do EFS backup before root my devices then flashing some custom roms.
When I root my devices at first time, I got bootloop on stock rom. Using supersu on odin 3.0.7 with auto reboot, reset and nand erase all(I dont any idea why I checked/thicked nand erase all). maybe it was bootloop. So I decided to install custom rom and finally It works fine. It all went well. Many custom roms I have tried. Ketan, IOIO, Infinity 6.1, Family ROM, Viper ROM, Darthstalker V8, and etc.
But at the moment, I tried on Infinity 7.1. First I do login google to make backup, then I restart my phone got FRP lock on. There is custom binnary lock on. So, I followed all steps from google nothing helpful which the step is :
Back to stock ROM. Install MM got dm verfication failed and LL bootloop on Note 5 logo
Back to stock ROM but with removing cache.img still dm verification problems
GCProKey, nothing to do
Reroot and Reinstall TWRP, Failed on Odin because FRP Lock ON. Even I can't enter TWRP
Other tools in xda, google and other still erros.
So I went to samsung service center to fix this phone. but I some question.
Any safe method to root n9208 devices for MM?
What happen if checked Nand Erase all on Odin?
If it possible nand erase all could made dm verfication problems?
How to fix dm verification?
If i have EFS backup at that time, Can I use EFS to fix dm verification problems?
What causing FRP lock?
Sorry if too many asking, but I wanna make sure before root my devices again.
Thanks a lot for ur attention:good:
So there is no way out from this problem

Hello friends
first of all , i hate samsungs !
but a friend has asked me to root her samsung s5 mini SM-G800F
i managed to install TWRP and tried to flash su from the recovery , but still am getting the error
root undetected
the phone running android version 6.0.1
i know am 1 step away from completing the process , but i didnt manage to ..
thanks
Look for CF-Auto Root for your exact same model and ROM version, you flash it through Odin. I could also install Magisk, first extrack stock boot.img from stock ROM, patch it on phone using Magisk Manager, then flash patched versiin using Odin. You can't flash SuperSU directly.
the issue is , am rooting just because i wanna get the key file of whatsapp , so i can read them on the computer using the backup files ..
i managed to extract the file from the TWRP , but appearantly when you reinstall whatsapp , the key changes ,, and as she tried to restore those old whatsapp messages (god only knows what she tried) now the key cant be used to extract the data from the DB
thanks any way
Backup data in WhatsApp to Google Drive, then restore when installing on new phone...
yeah , i know , but the issue is that she bought a new phone , and couldnt wait to use whatsapp on it , so she activated the whatsapp and offcourse she didnt do a backup to the cloud on her old phone , so now she misses some old messages , i tried to copy the backups and to use the key , but seems that if you reisntall hatsapp the private key will change and not be able to decrypt the old messages
