I have my Facebook account on my phone but the Facebook calendar it's not added in the list of calendars in Google Calendar app. Googled it and found the post where they recommend the preinstalled app but if I unnistall the Facebook app can't add the acount in Settings->Accounts.
Any idea?
Only samsung phones integrate facebook calendar in my opinion.

Hi,
I installed the facebook app and marged my phone contacts with facebook. Now my own contacts ive in facebook are shown with the facebook pic, thats great but if I uninstall the facebook app the pic and details from facebook go away...
Is there a way to port the pic into my gmail contacs? So if i uninstall the facebook app the contacts.would still have the pic and detail from facebook a way of porting or something else?

Try this.
After syncing your contacts with Facebook and Gmail, export your contacts to SD card. Then go to that .VCF file to tap and then export contacts to your Gmail account. Merge those contacts by going to gmail on your PC.
I love the facebook integration on the galaxy s,
but i think it's a shame that the media linked to a contact opens up in the browers version of facebook instead of the app. Is there any way of linking this to the facebook app?
I am using smoothCalendar on my homescreen, but is it possible to show up my facebook calendar there? In sense I can, because it implements facebook calendar as a calendar to my phone. But in CM, how do I do this? Anyone know an app to do that?

For birthdays im not sure because the last time I tried doing this facebook would not sync its birthdays with google calendar, only events. But for events and what not you can sync your facebook calendar through your gmail/google account online and then by syncing your google account to smooth calendar. That avoids having to use another app.
If you want to sync your fb birthdays calender with google calender . To work with Smooth Calander.. Use "ebobirthday" found in market..
I believe Gemini calendar will do this as well
Thanks folks. I found out that most easier way is; importing facebook birthday iCal URL to my google calendar. No need any extra application that way. Thanks @CallMeAria.
Sort like idea of get rid of application that way have more space.

Add your gmail account, then open SPlanner>Setting>Calendars...mostly you will have all calendars check box ticked and then you will also see gmail account mentioned so click on arrow and select that. it will synch your google calendar.

When I installed facebook, it asked me that Galaxy wants to access FB which I confirmed.
However in Note 4 - under accounts - facebook account there would be option for syncing facebook calendar and gallery with the device. In Note 5 under facebook account it just says sync contacts....where is the calendar sync option gone????
Any help???

Any help on this???
I had the same problem but found a solution. In the Play Store I found an app called Facebook Calender Sync and this fixed it.
