Hi!
I have some various question.
Can you hide the top bar for full screen just as you can with the nav bar in apps?
Can you hide the navbar while not in apps (home screen etc.)
Can you change the color/transparency for the navbar?
Does Xposed work from Magisk has any1 gotten that installed (im getting bootloop)?
Is there a dual speaker mod (make audio come out from ear speaker) found one for the s8 in the magisk mod manager but not sure if its working (i have 98% chance of bootloops from magisk mods so far only busybox and viper4android from magisk is working.)
Is samsung pay out of question after tripped knox?

I just rooted my Pixel 3 XL, and have Magisk installed of course.
So what are the must have Modules on this new phone ?
- Is there a mod that allows me to "Swipe down Expand notifications" without installing a separate launcher like Nova ?
- Mod to give me back the old 3 soft nav keys ? The Back / Home / Recents setup?
- Best battery saver mod ?
- Greenify still needed for Pixel 3 type phones ?
- Mod to allow me to have separate volume options for Ringer and Notification sounds ?
Thanks

1-not possible with magisk
2-there's a tutorial on XDA for that, but it requires switching the launcher if i recall correctly
4-not really, greenify is almost useless on android pie, especially on a pixel with adaptive battery enabled
5-again not possible with magisk
Hello all,
I just upgraded to the Moto g6, coming from the g5 with aokp ROM. My two most used and favorite features are the left and right arrows that appear in the navigation bar while typing, which allow the cursor to be accurately moved (annoyingly janky on the g6), and the ability to slide left or right over the notification bar to adjust the screen brightness without annoying extra swipes.
I was wondering if there is any way to get these two features on the Moto g6, as I have been missing them.
Thank your for your help!

Those were features of the custom ROM you were using. Not the device itself.
That said, I enabled those features on mine with an Xposed module. Gravitybox. Works great. But, using Xposed, safetynet will fail. But if that's not an issue for you, Xposed is the way to go.
Magisk for root
Xposed for magisk (in magisk repo)

I had asked about installing modules, but using the Xposed unity installer in magisk seemed to be what worked. somehow ended up with a very old clunky version of the app, which was not detecting that Xposed was installed. I'm all set to go, thanks again!

Great to hear. I use those features as well. Especially the arrows in nav bar for the cursor.
I just rooted my Pixel 4 XL finally last night. Which are the must have Magisk modules to install?
- Looking for a good system app deleter, ( Titanium Pro doesn't seem to be working right )
- Is there a mod to allow me to have the Android 9 2 button nav keys?
- A way to not show the status bar?
- A tweak that stops showing me the battery % on the lock screen?

There is a magisk modules named Debloater that I believe will take care of the first one. There is a thread in themes and apps section for the second one. Systemui tuner from play store has immersive options to just hide status bar. Not sure on the last one.
Hi there dudes.
I'm searching a module that allows to use status bar gestures. To be exactly I search for a module to swipe at the status bar to change the brightness.
Googled for 2 days and only found an app (super status bar).
Is there a similar magisk module out there for Android 12?

I dont think you'll find a magisk module, but you can certailny simulate that with Xposed Edge module (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jozein.xedge&hl=pl&gl=US). Actually you can place brightness slide on whatevere screen edge you like. Plus this module has a ton of other funcionalities, especially in Pro version. You would need to install LSPosed framework first. If you are interested and need any help, let me know
You'll likely need Xposed. Gravitybox can do it, along with lots of other goodies. Easy to install through Lsposed magisk module.
1. Being able to longpress on multitask to switch back and forth, without needing to double tap it.
2. Being able to longpress on back to kill the in-focus app.
I know I had this functionality with some sort of mod a few years ago, but I don't remember how. Would prefer if there's a lightweight magisk module or other mod with a small scope rather than some huge framework and/or a mod that has 300 features (some paid) of which only 2 are the ones I mentioned.
The only one that I know of is GravityBox. It has a section about navbar remapping; sure it also has tons of other features that you might not be interested in but wish there would be a newer option to modify the navbar
