Have you tried QuickShortcutMaker app?

You ever mess around with Activities widget option inside Nova? Maybe that can help?

I thought I had this figured out. Then went to use it and it went away. I can't figure out how to delete my response. So just editing away the bad information. ???

Home Long Press Shortcut?

Does anyone know how to launch the Home Long Press via a shortcut?
Such as the direct "Activity" or "Intent"?
Or even a "Launcher Pro Shortcut"?
I belive the home long press is inaccesible to regular apps.
It's a system function.

Hmm, it's a start
The latest ADW launcher lets you crate a 'custom shortcut'. Not only to customize the icon, but it lets you pick from all callable activities it sees. Even specific activities inside an apk. Try looking through those to see if the recent activities activity is there.

What about for LauncherPro?
You can try Visual Task Switcher from the market. There is a free ad supported and paid ad-free version. You can set that app on your homescreen and when you click it it comes up on your screen with your opened apps... and if you have more than 9 opened you can scroll to the side to see more. It's not perfect, but I think if the dev keeps working on it, it's a great option.

Home Screen Grid Snap

Hey all! I thought I saw an option to disable home screen grid snap in launcherpro, but when actually looked for it I couldn't find it. Anyway to disable the snap for widgets, shortcuts, etc, on the home screen?
Thanks
PS I searched pretty hard and found nothing on this.

[Q] Fastest way to access Google Now "Voice"?

Anyone know how to access Google Now "Voice" on the Xperia Z lockscreen or before you unlock your phone?
Google Now widget doesn't allow that.
Currently I can either have google search widget or icon on home screen.
Even if I can change the "long hold soft home key" to go directly to voice instead of search that would be great.
Thanks!

There are plenty of ways if you are rooted, I personally have it as the center shortcut on LMT pie controls.
U can also use gestures to activategoogle now coice using LMT.

Thanks for your reply.
I should have added that I would like to keep stock launcher/lockscreen and without any additional apps running in the background if possible.
I really have no use for additional controls.

Ok then if you can, install uccw and create a widget with a google voice hotspot.
My phone is going through the flashing process or else i would've seen what else was possible.

Yeah, been searching around and looks like I may have to install an app.
uccw sounds ok. I just want something as unobtrusive as possible.
Checking out the playstore for some gesture apps as well.
Did you try holding the home button for a second then swipe upward after you see Google now icon appears. Then say "Google" it will automatically activate Voice command. I hope it helps.

Bum. I need it to get to my launcher settings.
I don't have my N6 until tomorrow, but if it's anything like the note 4 you just long press the recents button. Like I said though.. Don't have the phone or Lollipop yet (coming from note 2).

There aren't any in the stock Google Now Launcher but you can get into them via Settings>Home and then press on the option of the 3rd party launcher (assuming you're using one)
Normally launchers have a shortcut built into them for the menu button. For example in nova long press on wallpaper and choose settings.

Bixby Quick Commands short cut drag down the notification bar

With the new update for S10 you can customize the Bixby butto to open other stuff.
I want to program the button to automatically drag down the notification bar.
Does anyone has an idea how to do that?

I don't have mine in hand just yet but from what I've seen, the app referred above is significantly more superior than the options Samsung gives for the Bixby button.

I installed it but its totaly bugged bcs of the new samsung remao function. I deactivated the samsung remap option but still it wont work...
I think you need to check out this thread here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s10/themes/app-bxactions-remap-bixby-button-single-t3903172
From there, the developer would probably be able to assist you much faster.
