You mean TW ics 4.0.4 rom? Anyways as long as you are on this safe kernel, you can flash any rom and it will be safe.
Check this, just few post above yours
as i see hydracore is a global kernel right ?i can flash any rom i want right?
and yes i want to return to tw 4.0.4 tw as exemple:kingdroid

Right but after flashing new rom the kernel will be replaced by the one included in rom.
In KD rom you will get option to choose kernel in aroma but it has Notecore, you can later flash Hydracore (latest) if you want to.
thanks allot man.you helped me

You just need to be on a safe kernel to flash rom, no matter if it is Hydracore or Speedmod or some other. It will be then replaced by the kernel included in ROM and you can always change the kernel as per your preference.

what the difference between Notecore and HydraCore ???
which is better?? and can i use it with Stock ICS (XXLRT) ??
finally what the difference between these kernals and others..?
peace....
Stop shouting - using bold font isn't so nice.
Read the kernel threads and you will know what features they have and what you need.
There is no best whatever.

Yes you can use notecore and hydracore kernels with xxlrt rom.
What is the difference... try them and tell us your opinion.
Tips: Dont flash hydracore v7 (broken camera and other stuff, and you will need extra file if you want revert to other kernel, just dont flash it)
As said before, HydraCore v4.3b OC is the best combination with alliance xxlrt for me. Great performance and battery life.
And if you like, you can try notecore 14.1 (it is the latest one from notecore, and lets say the best one from notecore)

obviusly custom kernel is going to work better, but not all the devices can be bootloader unlocked to flash it, at least not for free
my x8 is bootloader unlocked now

mmm i'm currently using this http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/10/cm10-4-1-0-20131028-unofficial-shakira/ rom with nAaJB kernel, but it is JB and I don't know if you're asking for a GB rom, anyway this works smooth, you can also try it with this kernel http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/11/xperia-x8-gbjb-kernel-0-5/

ginger is more stable, but JB interface and functionality is much better, and also with the work of various developers it is now working very smooth
could you click the thanks button please
thank you for your attention.
have you use a stable and smooth JB rom in order to try it again?
