Just got mine and I don't rly trust the seller he says this is OEM case but case covers the edges and that's a little strange to me. Anyone having this case can confirm that Liquid Air covers the Note 8 edges?
I always get my Spigen cases on Amazon . Never got a counterfeit.
Only have it for my S8+ and it's a perfect fit. Like it better than any of the five cases I've tried for my Note 8. Would think it would be a similar fit for the Note 8.

Maybe because Note 8 have smaller edges it's different. I like the feel of the case but thinking of getting the UAG plasma ash. I used UAG for ages and liked them, but wanted smth slimmer. Only TPU looks not so protective, but if you drop it it's all luck unless you use some hardcore case... Would like to see some drop tests of Note 8 with some main cases but still nothing good at YouTube ?

I don't mean the S8+ case should fit the Note 8. I mean it's a nice fitting case for the S8+ so I would imagine the one for the Note 8 would be nice as well...
And many of the cases now build air gaps into the corners so even if a case is thin, it still has resistance and space to travel thus reducing the amount of force transmitted to the phone.

here are the pics.. In my opinion it feels better than the diztronic case i had on my s8+ the texture on the back is grippy yet not gummy and the sides have "just" the right amount of grip.. I am pretty sure i will be using this case until i get my Alcantara one

I love this case, feels great in the hand and seems a good mix between protection and minimal/thin looks ?
I've been using this case since day 1 and fits perfectly with whitestone

I don't like it a little bit loose on my phone and returned it then I bought the Samsung alcantara case which is far better than this one and better feeling in hand.

I wasn't a huge fan of this case. It looked great but was slippery. So I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I really like the liquid crystal case from Spigen. I prefer black but in only comes in clear.
Does anyone else have a little nobble bit near the headphone jack? It right where I hold it and is pretty sharp feeling, shame as it's a nice case. Also is anyone using the whitestone dome with this? I've seen that it may no be compatible?

About to pick up a 7 today and want to get a good case for it. I'm looking for one that adds very little bulk, yet has a flip cover and that doubles as a stand. I've seen the Poetic Slimline and Speck Fitfolio so far and both seem pretty good but I just want to make sure I haven't missed any other options. Thanks!
I kind like how this case looks.

I've heard a lot of talk about the poetic but I'm curious if the plastic back part gets all scratched up if it gets placed in bags or desks often. I'm also curious about other options.
Take a look at the eBay slim case I reviewed. It is a good case. Still my every day case.

I've tried about all of them except the speck and my favorite is the moko slim fit. They even have one in real leather now.
http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Automati...5156098&sr=8-1&keywords=moko+slim+fit+nexus+7
It's durable, feels good to carry around and has a lifetime warranty so if you wear it out they'll send you a new one.
The poetic slimline falls apart after about a week. It's good while it lasts.
I don't have the nillkin yet, but I think thats the other one to watch.

Actually, its between this one and the nilkon. I can't decode.

I have the Poetic Slimline. I was searching for a cover just like you were, and it was the best one I could find. I love it. It it super slim, high quality, and it comes in a bunch of colors now.
hit up the thanks button plz:

If you're the type of person that prefers quality made things then stay away from the Poetic case! I regret buying the Poetic. I just barely received it today and can't stand this cheap quality case. After owning cases for iPads and Kindles, I don't even know how anyone can tolerate these poorly made cases.
I still can't decide between the Nillkin and the Moko

Thats pretty cool looking. Looks alot like my Speck case.
My buddy has a poetic case and between my Speck and his the speck is a bit better. His is slightly thinner but the magnetically closing front isnt as good as the specks clasp. The clasp holds much better in a bag than the magnet and the speck has far superior viewing angles for the stand.

I don't understand the Poetic-hating. I love mine. Had it for a couple weeks now, and it is holding together fine. No fraying. This thing is as good as I could've asked it to be.
Threw a couple decals on there and BAM. Awesomeness.

Now I have question about that, first of all does anyone of you experienced the same stuff with your spigen case with coloured Bumper?
And as second does anyone have this case by Spigen Spigen Ultra Fit Capsule and has some bad or good experiences with it ?
LG ZUBEPLANET, the whole world is a ZUBE!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
No one ?
i had a spigen ultrafit for a few weeks. the case is quite nice. offers good protection. the clear back was outstanding. but i changed it because if the covering of ir blaster and i feared the clear back would take up a lot scratches and discolor over time so i changed it. it is a good case. but you have to be careful when placing it and also carry a microfiber cloth so you can clean the back frequently. IMO it is one of the most beautiful case.
Ok thx dude. which case do you use atm. i am searchign a minimum transparent back case. dont need to be hard case but transparent would be really nice.
other cases are nice too if they have good grip , nice look and dotn make the phone to a box

Keys are transparent but covered by the case, so you can barely see them due to the design on the case over the button regions. The keys function excellently tho, unlike most other cases where the keys are covered and the fit and cut-outs are excellent with no discoloration of the case.
It's a sticky, hardgel-like case. Very protective of the phone and guarded all around with perfect grip.
It does add thickness around sides and back tho - no way a thin case. At least +6mm to all sides. But it's smaller in volume than other non-transparent cases, by far. You can feel the added size of the case on the phone, especially on the depth of the phone (6mm or so).
It's more of a gel bumper all around the phone.

Has anyone tried ordering one of these from Aliexpress? I ordered one already and totally excited about it.
Some youtube videos of the case for other phones are already there. I am sure this sleek Beast and the Metal Thor cover would make a Machine in hand.
I ordered the Black one.
All I can say is These got looks and also can surely protect the phone with such bulk build.
PS: Sorry i cant attach pics here. I am new member in the forum and XDA will allow me to post pics after 10 posts. You can always google the case and tell me what you feel about it.

I don't mean to be rude, but that's quite a case that could cause the Sixth Mass Extinction on Earth.

About that Tudia, have it as well, but i am not satisfied with that so much... It's because through the hole for fingerprint sensor many times went through the humidity between front plastic cover and the glass of the phone, when i wear phone in my pocket in work, turned by side to my leg. As well front plastic cover after some time started cowering itself so when u touch on display through this u can feel it it doesn't fit.

Yeah, wasn't to happy with the hole for FP scanner. I don't use the scanner and have it disabled, so I went down and bought a package of plastic laminating sheets and cut two oval pieces just bigger than the hole. Put one on front and one on back to cover hole. I work in a cabinet shop and sawdust was constantly getting in, so this solved my issue. I'm not sure, but the FP scanner might still work with it covered like that, not tried it yet to see. Other than that, that Tudia case is great, looks good and offers excellent drop protection. I know first hand, dropped phone from 3 foot up on concrete floor.

hi guys, I have a problem to use covers, as I have small hands the normal covers increase the width in the phone, so it is more difficult to use it with one hand, there is a cover with very thin edges that is reliable and compatible with the film whitstone?
I like very much pitaka cover but can't see carbon design, l'm loooking for some similar cover.

Here's mine... I have black and blue versions. Bought many different low cost cases, and some more expensive ones like spiegen for example, but keep coming back to this one as it adds minimum bulk and keeps the original feel of the phone. Plus the stand is magnetic and comes really handy.

I have few of them...
Spigen is thin but not thin enough...
The best I found is Samsung thin case... It's the thinned u will get... But very slippery
Baseus makes something very similar.. Nice colors and slippery again...
What I have done now is I have put a clear slickwrap back of device on the cases to make it Less slippery...

Imo if you want a strong case to protect your phone, but not have that "ugly" look to it...
Go for patchworks, it's what I'm using right now I love the design, and it's up to military grade standard

I've also dropped my phone more times than I can count and haven't had a single issue with my phone. The few times I dropped my phone with the Commuter my glass screen protector came off.

Which glass was it that came off? My whitestone is still on tight with no lifting after a few drops in the Commuter, but some glass/case combos are definitely compatible than others of course.
I have a Zagg glass protector. I never tried the Whitestone. Zagg upgraded me to the newer Elite Curve and it's been pretty good.
I've gone through a lot of cases, but my favorite has been the Speck Presidio Grip. No other case has as good of grip while still having decent protection and it doesn't add much bulk.
Been using the Spigen Tough Armor on my Note 8 since I got it. The only problem I had was finding tempered glass screen protector for it that had 100% screen adhirsion.
Caseology Legion, looks good and is a bit more rugged, great drop protection (tested by accident )
Best case for me has been the dbrand Grip!! Amazing protection for such a tiny size. Second most used is a UAG Monarch when I am roughing it up at work. Finally the Alcantara Samsung case, just cause I like the feel and look of it

Wish the dbrand grip cases were available for purchase now.....

The Best case I have used is Rhinoshield. It doesn't cover up the whole phone and gives good protection. I have dropped my Phone many times landed on sides and safe.
I actually use the all black version of this one HERE. It's very inexpensive, very strong and really well made. I had the exact same case for my Note 5 and it never got a scratch on it. The case looks even better on the Note 8.
