xPosed for OnePlus 5 doesn't work - Xposed General

Hello, I am French, I apologize in advance for my errors of translations.
I have a One Plus 5 with android 7.1.1, magisk. I have successfully flashed xposed sdk 25 only once installed, the activated modules are actually not activated, I think it is a bug ...
I need your help

Xposed on Nougat doesn't work well with File-Based Encryption (FBE). I have Xposed running on your hardware and ROM by running Full Disk Encryption (FDE) instead.
I've posted instructions here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3672477
You can also run decrypted, but that's bad from a security perspective.

In another thread a user mentioned soft rebooting the phone and that worked for me. You could try giving that a shot as well.

the soft restart is simple to restart the phone normally? because I am doing it and its not working

No, in the Xposed installer app, hit the 3 dots on the framework page and hit soft reboot.

[GUIDE] Xposed on P9 Lite

[WILL NOT WORK ON ANDROID N]
There is no functional Xposed for Nougat (yet)
Hey everyone!
Since there is no dedicated thread for how to install Xposed for the P9 Lite yet, I thought I quickly provide the method how I made it work for future users.
What you need?
- Unlocked BL
- TWRP Installer
- Root
So you want to get the version of Xposed provided by Wanam. Version 86 for arm64 is what you are looking for! You can get it here.
UPDATE: I experienced extreme battery drain and crashing settings with version 86. I am now using version 84 and all is fine again.
Don't worry that it says Samsung devices in the thread.
Download the zip package that you need and place it somewhere. Then download the Xposed installer apk.
For example here in the first post attached.
Install the apk.
Now it's time to fire up TWRP and make a backup!
Then flash the zip you have downloaded before. If you downloaded the right version, it should flash without errors.
Now reboot. BE PATIENT. It can take several minutes for the first boot.
That's it. You should now be able to use Xposed modules like enabling background play on official YoutTube app :victory:
Sidenote: some people mentioned that you may need to switch your SELinux mode to permissive. Since I had it on permissive in the first place I don't know if it's really the case.
PS: leave a like for the guys providing these awesome Xposed frameworks if you download them :good:
Hey man, some days ago i tried to install this on my p9 lite. I got bootloop caused by "not enough space" (with more than 6GB of free space) error during the installation of the framework. Any suggetion? Maybe we need a new partition system?

Hmm I did not encounter something like this. However, I did receive some errors earlier with backups in TWRP. Maybe there is a bug in this TWRP version for this device.
Afaik it is ported from the Chinese version of the P9 Lite so I don't really know who is working on this.
But it is strange. Have you tried to flash it a second time? Maybe just a weird bug?
Since I was able to install it just fine...
Uhm, i'm bit afraid cause i have done a full reset after that problem. I think i will wait before doing it again
just installed ,xposed-v85.1-sdk23-arm64-custom ,on L21 and works fine for now
thanks
what modules are you running?
l31
guys does this package works on l31 phones because I got already a bootloop with the l21 guide mentioned above..ty
Yes, i've done it like mentioned above and its working perfectly on my l31. As you see on my Screenshots. Authentication Info with the xposed Flat Style bar indicators and coloured Bars. But after flashing the Framework the Bootlogo showed up for around for 15minutes before booting up. I thought I got stuck in Boot. An started thinking of reflash my Backup. But it booted and its working.
Also getting bootloop on my L31 - complains about not enough space on device when trying to flash.
Hello all just have a quick question which better to use the xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709 or xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64 version or does it matter? Thanks..

I'm using Xstana for status bar and navigation buttons and working fine for me
As far as I know the official and latest version of Xposed works in Huawei, You just have to disable themes in build.prop
Check this out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66380010&postcount=30
The flatstyle colored Bars is working without problems. Version 2.1.0 its changing Statusbar color like orange on xda and red on YouTube. An the navbar changes between white Grey and black or transparent depending on Main brightness of the whole window. I've had installed xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709 like mentioned above. And I first thought I got stuck in Boot loop But it run for around 15 minutes before the system booted up. Let it settle and before booting clean Cache and Dalvik.

Trimis de pe al meu HUAWEI VNS-L21 folosind Tapatalk
I've installed the official version and it's working like a charm.
Hi, my phone version is VNS-L31/ B105 (Wind branded).
I can confirm everithing is working just fine after installing official xposed apk from the official thread
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811) and flashing the last framework "xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip" from the link in the same thread.
No errors reported during flashing, albeit i just have to wait 5-10 minutes during rebooting before the UI to appear.
I'll give you some tips on some issues i dealt with and some modules i've installed:
1) "DoubleTapToSleep - working
2)GravityBox - not everything is working, i've just set the hardware keys actions to run some applications, but the recents key isn't working as default setting. Power tweaks section isn't working too. QuickSettings aren't working even disabling the two strings in build.prop file.
3)If you want an advanced reboot menu then try the module "NeoPowerMenu". in order to make it working you have to go in advanced settings and enable the function "ExperimentalPhoneWindowManager hook" then reboot and it should be working.
4) XPrivacy - working
5) i experienced problems with some apps that need to stay in background like ZDcalendar for if I close the app from the Recent apps window, the alarms or notifications scheduled are not notified. I suppose it's due to battery saving settings. I solved going to the app section--->then the app I want to manage--->battery--->enabling "keep running after screen off".
i had the same problem with the app Twilight, in fact when i closed the recent apps from the recents window, the app just shut down.
enabling the function mentioned above will prevent the app from closing unless you kill it manually.
Hope this will help, bye!

[Q] Can't really activate any modules

Hi all,
I have a problem. I'm using an OnePlus 5 and I can't use Xposed. I have just tried those 2 things. I have magisk updated to 14.0
1) I installed the version 09-09-2017 by dvdandroid, then I installed 26-07-17 v87 sdk25 by PurifyOs, all seems OK xposed tells that is installed and working, so I try to download some modules, activate them, reboot, but when I try to use them they tell me "please activate the module", I tryed clearing cache and dalvik, reinstalling so many times but nothing.
2) So I removed the PurifyOs one, and wanted to try to install the systemless one. I open Xposed, press install, it auto flashes from TWRP but there is a message error "dev/magisk/mirror/bin is not setup properly". So I try to download it as a module from magisk, try to install but gives the same error.
Can you help me? Thanks

I couldn't activate any modules either, even though framework was green/good.
I re-installed my ROM and re-did the Xposed setup, ensuring I was using the CORRECT files.
Such as for Magisk Xposed vs. non-Magisk Xposed.
It's working now.

Already tried, nothing happened
I'm not sure how the OnePlus works in comparison to my Moto G4, but I had the same problem with 7.1.x. I couldn't get Xposed to work on any roms running Nougat. Went and installed an AOSP marshmallow rom and Xposed is working very well. My advice would be to downgrade to marshmallow. It's definitely worth the Xposed compatibility because even if you do get that aspect of it going, many modules don't support nougat yet. I was reluctant when I first heard this, but I' don't regret my decision at all. I'm running 12 modules right now with no issues at all and loving it. Hope this helps.

[Discussion] Fate Go Magisk Discussion Thread

Just wanted to create a thread similar to the Pokémon Go one because i've seen the only one having problems with this app and magisk despite the John announncement made in September...
Anyway, back to the main topic, in this thread i would like to gather all users with some requirements:
- Fate GO istantly closes, opens the default mail app and prompts the "Error 61" in the mail, other errors have nothing to do with magisk.
- Latest version of Magisk Dev
- Magisk Hide enabled and Fate GO ticked in the list
- Magisk Manager hidden
- Check if other apps (Like GPay for example) find Magisk/Root or not
- Safetynet "full" passes
- No Xposed
- Running the uninstaller of magisk makes Fate GO working normally
- Always write: ROM, Kernel, Magisk Version, Fate GO version and region (NA, CN, JP ecc...)
Thanks in advance to everyone that will help with this problem or share their experiences or thoughts, and if someone else would like to test itself you can find the apk on APKPure if it's no present on play store.
Make sure USB debugging is disabled, then if that doesn't work, clear the data for the app

By the way, just to complete other apps I can't find magisk.

Debug usb has nothing to do with error 61, which is magisk, that's why I specified it in the list xD

Yep, it was supposed to bi fixed since September, but the majority of the players here and on reddit reported the opposite, I've tried anything suggested and to ask it many times in many threads and for now I'm stuck with a not-rooted OP6...
Btw I got it "barely working" with the app "Island" but I say "barely" because sometimes it didn't work.

I tried flashing the reddit hide zip and several more until I surrendered, after all I gave him delete without remembering to save the save code.
It's weird, because I installed magisk believing that go would work, if a bank app works because it wouldn't work fate GO?
It seems that I was wrong.

Btw my bank app doesn't work with and without magisk, anyway the problem is that FGO was advised as playable since September and it's not...
Hello, i get some problems like this. My device - Asus me302kl with Nitrogen os 8. I install magisk (canary), hide fate app, and rebuilt magisk with new package name. After killing process in app settings i can play, but after some time (i think when magisk has autolaunch) fate found magisk and i recieve error 61. After this I need restore and rebuild package again, for normal fgo launch.
Now i try something for stable result.
This could be interesting: https://twitter.com/topjohnwu/status/1064941972375392257?s=19

And in fact now magisk is not detected at all by FGO, finally...!
For a moment I got error 43 so I deactivated the USB debug, but then I went back to error 61, is it still possible that it is an error of my device?
The developer options are activated permanently because oem unlock is activated.

If you have added fgo to the magisk hidelist, and have hidden MagiskManager trough the option in the settings then you could try to use the ProcGate apk and see if the proc bug is the issue.
FGO works well now, no errors or anything. This is great because I use root regularly, but wasn't willing to let go of it.

Check with procgate app if you have leaks, if there are unfortunately there aren't solutions atm on Android versions bellow nougat...
Well looks like this topic is a bit dead. Is Fate GO still working with Magisk?
I can't seem to get it working. Keep getting error 61 & 60
Running on 7.1 LineageOS with latest canary build
Both Fate GO & MM are hidden
All safetynet checks passed
Freshly flashed ROM, no Xposed or anything
No leaks detected in Procgate
Running magisk uninstaller makes Fate GO working normally

Yes. Poke GO and FGO work with Magisk - at least with 17.4 and 18.1. i played Fate a few days ago, no problem on Pie.

Xposed on pie 10.0.12+

Is it still required to deodex the ROM to install edxposed on stock Android one?
Because I can't find information that are up to date
it works!
It's not needed to deodex the ROM anymore just flash the magisk modules in this order:
Riru core
Edxposed
Reboot
Also gravit box [p] works not everything but still
I admit I was a little nervous but this information is missing and needed to be tested, I'm on August security patch 10.0.12
I installed it without deodexing and used it for blocking wake locks with the good old Amplify.
Go ahead and install it

I also tried xposed on my a2.. I don't think it does any extra things for us! When first time i tried xposed on my phone and installed some modules reboot my phone to activate them. I got soft brick kinda thing. And using gravity box or max lock makes device much buggier.

Connect your device to your PC, open a ADB terminal, and use this command: adb wait-for-device shell magisk --remove-modues. This will disable Magisk modules during boot.

"Why" could be any number of reasons, which I do not know. It sounds like it's changing something in system that the OS doesn't like, causing a crash on boot.

It could be for any number of reasons, but yes - if you get a bootloop after installing Xposed, then something is causing the OS to crash during boot, and since the only thing you changed was installing Xposed, that's the likely culprit.
As to exactly why Xposed is causing that crash...I have no idea, but you are asking in the right place.
