Hi, after motherboard changing in Service, phone is no longer detecting fingerprint scanner. Phone came with b140 android and fingerprint didn't worked on it so i upgraded it to nougat with firmware Finder but it didn't help. What can i do? I dont want to send it back to Service.

It could be hardware issue rather than any fix at software level. Best would be to visit again rather messing it up as hardware was changed
Isn't there any app that can check fingerprint scanner or similar? I checked it with fingerprint gestures and it was written that my android API dont support fingerprint scanner.

Check the gesture like notification, or camera click via fingerprint. It it works then hardware would be fine but stikk some tweaks may be. Needed to get the unlock FP working

are you sure that they install right motherboard?
Yeah they it's right motherboard for nem l21 nordic/European version. I dont know what to do.

Reflashing may not help for any hardware related issues. Better to visit them again and get it rectified sooner as motherboard may be problematic with time as well. May be they can recheck the motherboard again and for any issue with FP

Why would you want to flash a different model+ region? You probably can but you might not be able to make calls due to different telecommunications in different countries....hence why there are different models/regions.

Because the firmware nem-l51c432 eu does not support fingerprint sensor, while the firmware supports fingerprint sensor is NEM-L21india or NEM-L22 asia and my 5c device with fingerprint sensor. Can u help me to solve it?

In that case you should never have had nem-l51c432 installed on your phone because that model is for Europe and doesn't come with fingerprint sensor but has NFC instead.
I reckon for some reason I can't explain your phone came with the wrong firmware installed.providing you have done your backups, if it was me, I would try flashing the other firmwares if you are intent on having fingerprint working. It's up to you. Maybe give it a couple of days to see if anyone has the same problem and what they have done and posted it here...

I do not know, because from my first buy 5c already installed NEM-L51C432 firmware and fingerprint sensor works fine. When i check in firmware finder that 5c got update nougat with NEM-L51432B350 Version and successfully installed in my 5c. But the fingerprint sensor is not working at this time. I try downgrade to emui 4.1 but always fail. :crying::crying:

You could put the update.app from latest c432b130 zip into dload folder on sd card and use the 3 button install method. Pretty sure you will lose all your data but at least you'll be back to 6.0 and emui 4.1.2. I've got the update.app in dload folder on my sdcard, since it first available so I can always recover from any mishaps. If you have trouble getting hold of it, I could make it available on my mega account...
However I just thought, there should be a roll back package on the hihonor website. Do a Google and search some.
And you say you tried rolling back but it fails. What is it you are doing?

I have a Honor 5C (NEM-L51), it has been updated through OTA a couple of times, after the last update to NEM-L51C432B355(EMUI- 5.0 and Android 7), I cannot find the way to activate the fingerprint, there used to be an option in Settings to do it, but now it has disappeared.
How do I do it now?
Help would be appreciated.

Same i have the honor 5c with the fingerprint i think it's the chinese version because the european version have NFC instead of fingerprint so they probably updated our chinese honor 5C with the European Update

about this. I have a nem-al10 rebranded to nem-l51 but I haven't tried it myself. The instructions are
"For activate fingerprint sensor in emui 5 (if it available):
1. with twrp get root;
2. In "\hw_oem\etc" rename or delete folder "permissions" (or rename/delete folder "etc"), I renamed to "p_ermissions" with ES Explorer;
3. reboot phone - in Setting will be available fingerprint."
I think people are buying Chinese phones cheaply, rebranding them and reselling them here which is why this problem occasionally crops up.

No, I agree that the Chinese version has fingerprint and no NFC. You are probably thinking of the honor 7 lite rather than the honor 5c nem-l51. The 7 lite has scanner and is the European version too
I was just using firmware finder on my Honor Play(TL-10 version) and found this result for L29 model.
No idea what this is about. Though the app doesn't work anymore, maybe L29 users can try a shot in the dark.

It really doesn't bother me at all. I just missed the Full screen Gestures from my Xiaomi phone.
So now this phone is even more awesome.
Firmware Finder servers are getting changed I think so I can't download.

FF finds the 9.0 Pie for my Play. I can download the file (3,76GB) but can't install it. My phone is in intact condition, so that's why it stops at 5%.

No root, locked bootloader. For some reason Huawei /Honor devices are very easy to brick. For now quite happy with Oreo and not under pressure about 9.0 as it's on the way
I downloaded this and tried to install it but it failed instantly on installing using the dload method. I usually flash with a fat32 sdcard but the firmware file is too large so i tried with exFat i'm not sure if this is the correct format?
I just purchased the honor play L29 and i'm stuck with 8.2.0.130 firmware. No emui 9 with beta test or just navigation gestures. Does any owner of the COR-L29 receive a new update ?

That is the latest update. No Pie update for anyone yet.
COR - AL00 users are stuck on xxx.xx.120 patch
The new system update for honor 9 lite has been deployed at 3rd sunday of april. The new update is quite big than the previous ones.

Yeah... Im currently at 138. I guess that it is deployed currently at LLD-L21 but cant confirm unless others did.
First, i tried the newly improved screen recorder. Seems like it is promising cuz at last, i can now make game recordings with audio.
Second. App launching improvements... I think that i cant feel it.
Just noticed about the screenlock. It doesnt animate anymore when you boot up your phone. That's a plus for me.
Just a note. This version isnt available at firmware finder for unknown reason.

186 was last march, 2 months ago which is also for dg from emui 9. Im currently at 138 which is last april and there is a new update for L21 which is 139. You might want to check firmware finder just to be sure that your device is following in the update.

Good evening, I'm a little lost.I repaired a screen of a 9 lite honor that fell. But still black screen. I made several manipulations.
The screen worked. In reality, it is the software that is damaged. at startup the screen flickers twice on honor and it disappears.
To be fast. I'm not watching the current firmware. I made the update. Currently I am in 8.0.0.144 (C432). unable to recover the official firmware for repaired the honor. I can not find anything on the subject. Can you guide me? Please.

i didnt try to flash anything in this phone yet. use HuRu sowtware to revive your phone.

Hello, I cannot answer this question. If you tell me where to look I can tell you. Do you know how I can change the ROM to the global one? Or maybe to downgrade manually, because Realme does not have a file for downgrade of this model.

But unfortunetely, Realme locks everything on this phone, I think that's the reason why there's almost no resources here.
By the way, if you just wanna use Android Auto, maybe you'd install it through APK file.

I have Android Auto but after the update to UI2.0 it dies not work.
It cannot connect to the car.
Says that there is no Android Auto App which works with the USB device.

I found Realme X50 5G (Realme UI 1.0) stock ROM here.
But, it shown in Chinese Simplified...
And here is the tutorial from OPPO ColorOS community. (It's the same Recovery with Realme.)
I'd did a downgrade UI procedure once few months ago, but failed, because the Recovery is going to check the version of Realme UI, whether it was older than installed.
Anyway, if you'd decide to do this, please do a completely backup of your data first.
