is it possible to have N9208 (duol) note 5 to function as normal N920 note 5 ??

if i buy now the dual 9208 Note 5 will i be able to change the version of the software to a normal more poplar ROM of Sm-N920i fo example??!
please help me know if it was possible once with the note 4.....

If you root it you can run whatever you want. Its no different than the non DUO version, other than the dual sim card tray.

how about doing the same thing with not 4 duos ?? will it be possible as well?

Again, the duos is the exact same phone, as the regular phone.

I think is the same wirh the note 5 but the note 4 duos has different specs. No?

Help about choice Between N920C and N920CD

Hi every one .
i need a help about this 2 models of note 5 .im going to buy note 5 and in my country most of this device are n920CD or note 5 dual sim and n920C ( single sim model) and i realy like to buy dual sim model . the important point for me is software support from samsung for my phone and i would like to get the latest version of android as soon as n920c models . so my question is that n920CD ( dual sim model) have separate rom from n920C ( single sim model) or this 2 models have same rom ?? i mean can i use n920c rom for n920CD or not ??
i have to aks this question because i check samsung firmware web site and i cant find any rom for n920CD model so i worry about software update.
I appreciate if you help me to make right Decision and sorry for my bad English :good::good:

Which version of note 5 has most rom options?

I'm just curious which version of the note 5 (n920X) has the best modification capability. I'm asking this cuz before I bought a n900v, a Verizon note 3 and it had a lock bootloader and it didn't have many rooms to install. Which version of note 5 has the most rom compatibility I guess that's the question. I can buy n920 (s, l, k, p)and also n9200 (Hong kong) version. If I didn't mention any please also tell me also thank you

Don't know specifically for 920S model. But then i had a malaysian 9208 Dual sim and all i had to do was go to recovery wipe everything and install Indian firmware using ODIN. Once that is done VoLTE will come. Its to do with CSC files and Indian firmware supports Indian network CSC configuration.
