Help t815 no access usb - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I installed in my tablet SAmsung Tab S2 t-815 the recovery TWRP and I have done ROOT. I have also backed up my original ROM and the entire system inside the internal memory by not having SD card.
The issue is that now since I installed the recovery when I connect the tablet to Windows 7 I do not recognize the mass storage or internal memory. What I can do? Is there any way for windows to still recognize usb mass storage after having the TWRP? For me it is very important to exchange files between the tablet and windows almost daily and now I can not.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!

Not TWRP related. Your issue is likely drivers. Check you have the Samsung USB drivers installed and MTP enabled on your device. Also check the driver the driver being used in Device manager when the device is connected. It should be MTP not ADB.

[Q] Auto USB Mode?

Hello
i wanted to use the external sd card as an bootable device from where i could install various Windows Versions trough USB. The Problem is the activation of the USB Mode.
The BIOS doesn't recognize the Note as an USB-HDD-Device even when i have enabled USB-Mode while pausing the BIOS Post Screen (After going into BIOS Mode it won't be recongized also).
Is there something i could do by changing a setting, or could maybe a dev search for a way to auto enable usb mode (or enable it for a longer time, with an widget which is a switch? )
Regards

i thought you had to also have the boot files on the usb fore it to be bootable?
You need to make the Partition on the sd-card bootable, by making it "active" then copy the Windows DVD-files onto the SD-Card and voila you can boot the Windows 7 Setup through your usb stick.
For default Setups, this won't be a problem, but when you want to add more files into the windows 7 installation media the fat32 limitation will kill you...
and i haven't found a way, to make 2 partitions on my 32-GB SD Card...
(ps: i hate it, that the internal storage from the galaxy note is used as "sdcard" totally fu**d up my files through recovery partitioning...)
Got luck, my files are there. Anyway i hate it ^^
you can partition a sd card using any partitioning software

[SOLVED] Mounting Internal SD and Ext SD via USB

Hi,
I've got my Xperia T, set to mass storage mode and also have PC Companion installed, Can't seem to figure out how to access the internal storage.
Any Ideas?
Cheers
We need MTP driver for this phone, yesterday i searching over the web but i can't find
I've managed to fix this, I had the phone set to MSC mode. I changed it to MTP and now all is working.
I initially had MTP driver problems as above, but installing PC Companion resolved this.

[Q] Android client for USB Host on Samsung Galaxy S3

Hello,
I did not find any answer for my question and I'm not sure wif this is the right place to ask it.
I'm looking for an android app, which enables an android device to acces to the internal memeory as well as the external SD of an Samsung Galaxy S III via USB without unmounting the external device, similiar to windows explorer.
Is there any app which can provide this function.
Best regards
Dietmar
there cannot, and will never be such an app.
internal storage can never be accessed via mass storage. and the external storage has to be unmounted

I think you are wrong.
When i connect my SGS3 or my Samsung Galaxy Tab to a Windows PC via USB i get on the Samsung device the message "Connected as Mediadevice" The external SD as well as the interal memory are still acessable on the Samsung device. On the PC the Samsung will be shown as new folder in the foder "Computer" (in german langange pack) See attached image.
On the PC i can access both the internal memory and the external SD without unmounting the on the Samsung.
The Winows Mediaplayer can access both as well.
I'm looking for an android app, which can provide the same. If i connect the Samsung to an other android device which hast USB Host I get the mesaage on the Samsung, the there as no application on the connected device found which is able to use the Samsung as media server.
yeah, that's the MTP protocol, and you're asking for mass storage

Thank you for your answer.
Is there an app which can handle the MTP protocol like windows is able?
I found a lot of apps, that can change the USB mode from MTP to mass storage, but this is not what I want. I'd prefer an app on the device wich is USB Host, that can handle the MTP protocol.
probably not. you can always search though

Help Needed: Can't access external SD when connected via USB

I've recently run into a problem where I can view the contents of my external SD when my Amazon Fire is connected to my PC via USB. This hadn't been a problem until a few days ago. Now, when I connect my tablet to my PC, it only shows me the internal storage. I recently updated SuperSU, and I think that's when the problem began. However, I'm not sure how it's related. Can anyone help me out?
FYI, my tablet still recognizes the SD card. I can still manage the contents of the SD card on my tablet using X-plore, so there's nothing wrong with the SD card itself. I can still download files onto the card and move files around. The only issue is that I can't access the card from my PC via USB, which is kind of a hassle.
I've uninstalled and re-installed the driver, but this hasn't helped. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.
Nevermind. I managed to get it working again. I rebooted my tablet, and it did some sort of update. Now the SD card is showing up when I'm connected to my PC via USB.

Problem with Enabling Mass Storage in HTC One Mini 2

Hi.
I have a problem with enabling mass storage in my HTC One mini 2
I Used UMS Enabler but it didn't work at all.
Is there anyway to Enable it??
I believe you are talking about enabling mass storage for PC to transfer between devices, correct me if wrong.
Once the HTC drivers are installed, and phone connected to PC it should automatically enable mass storage.
