This is not glass screen protector. It's film protector.
Yesterday I received it and my first opinion is that this is not worth of buying it.
Why?
S Pen damage film protector within minutes.
I will return product.

Hmmm where there not 2 types of nips in the box of the note 8? Thought I read something about soft and hard nips for the spen.
Maybe you need a soft one with those kind of screen protectors?

I use this one with my s pen and it's a self healing screen protector. After about an hour, what I had written on the screen disappeared completely.

the feeling on writing was bad.. it's strugle to write on that kind of screen protector..
also when I finished with adding screen protector it was damaged...
just avoid it..it's not good and price is to high..

Picked up this case today.
Feels great and fits well. The sandy finish really helps with the grip. Plus this kind of red is hard to come by, a kind of dull red that even guys can use. Looks great on my gray note.

Can you post some pics on your device. I have the white one and I'm doubting it is going to look as nice.

Sure! Here you go.

Does the case offer any front protection? Does it have raised front corners or sides? I'm thinking that the screen is the most vulnerable area on the phone, and therefore needs some format of protection.

Hows the signal/wifi etc like?
I'm using this case but black in color.. feels a lot like Rock Quicksand hard casing. Doesn't affect signal/wifi at all in my opinion..maybe cause it's not made of metal?
Agree. Signal is not affected at all. It's made of some sort of plastic or resin or whatnot. I really like the feel of the case. It feels like a very fine sandpaper or what not.

I got this case because I needed some protection for my note 2 and nothing was available locally .
I was just looking for something cheap and multifunctional .
For $11.99 I really was not expecting much but it turned out better than I expected. It works well protecting the phone , (my wife dropped hers with no damage ) and it does not make it hard to slip into my pocket .
It really shines when folded into a stand which really comes in handy .
The feau leather material is nice enogh and also comes with storage for license, credit cards etc.
The only negative is I have to take it off if I am using the Samsung media dock .
But for the price it is a nice item to have for sure

This is what I use for my n7 and I have zero complaints also.
Do you have any tips installing it? I have ruined 2 and couldn't manage to put one without any bubbles?
Follow the instructions peel half of the first later off from top to bottom and align appropriately then smooth it out as you peel off the first layout the rest of the way, afterwards there will be some bubbles just smooth them out with the wedge giving in the package some may take some pressure to get it completely gone

Use some screen cleaner to get as much of the dust as possible off of it. It really helps to cut down on the number of bubbles that are caused by dust.
The hardest part for me was just getting it centred and positioned properly. Must have taken me 7-8 tries.
I just bought this off Amazon and installed it on my phone yesterday. The build quality is excellent and the cut out is spot on. The case came with a build in screen protector. It also came with 2 extra power button for replacement. Although the volume is part of the case but i have no issue pressing it.

Would you recommend this for someone using it at a construction site? And what would you consider the drop protection to be from what you see?

This case is not as good as everyone says if you want quality go with a defender or shocks it. I returned this case after I physically held it

For the price. I think is pretty good. I agree it can't compare to ottobox product. It is just user preferences. Thanks

All tempered glasses I have tried come off easily and break. I suggest you use a wet screen protector which is case friendly . The Armorsuit case friendly is the best in my opinion . Other options are IQShield, Skinomi etc. Spigen is not good at all although it works well with a case. It develops scratches very easily and is too thin .

Agree with @RVR - tempered glass protectors are generally awful. Have not found one that has good fit, good sensitivity and stays on. Films have much better fit and sensitivity. Getting them to stay on is another battle - edges lift off. Personally I use a case that has a part that comes from the front of the phone, keeping the film on. I have an unbranded film.
Just buy a otter box and be done with it... Only case with scree protection I use..
Try the case friendly 2 pack from JOLOLO on Amazon. Sensitivity was about 90 percent when first installed, but it seems to be going down now. But yes, try Armorsuit wet install case friendly.
Update on the Jololo, sensitivity worsened as time went on and I sent it back to Amazon.
