Root not found on PureNexus 7.1.2 ROM. - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed PureNexusProject-Mod 7.1.2 ROM on my Moto G 2014 a few days ago. The ROM is working fine but I cannot seem to get root access. I tried to flash SuperSu zip from TWRP recovery and it flashed properly but when I rebooted my device, it was not there in the app drawer. Then I downloaded SuperSu and Root Checker from the Play Store just to be sure but both of them showed that the device is not rooted. Please tell me how do I get root access on my device. Thank you!

[Q] Droid 4 CM12/5.0 Root

so I installed the latest CM12 Droid 4, and for some reason it's telling me I'm not rooted.
I was rooted in 4.1.2 using the razr utility for the XT894.
I first flashed original firmware
then did step 3 (root)
then installed safestrap using a 3.75 download link.
booted into recovery, installed latest CM12 nightly...
... but i can't get root access?
How do I restore root access now that I'm on 5.0.x?
Yes, I ENABLED root access in developer options. Still won't give root access.
Root Checker says:
Root access: no access
Su Found: system/xbin, system/bin
Hi,
After flashing CM12.1 you need to flash SuperSU:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
Actually, I didn't have to do that. I just started over again. I did try flashing SuperSU by downloading the APK they have linked on the playstore page, through SafeStrap Install ZIP function, but it didn't work.
I went with the Razr Utility and installed 4.1 with wipe. then reinstalled root. then I went and installed safestrap 3.75, followed by lollipop.
all is well now.
I think the cable extension i was using was causing packet loss issues of somesort, as i can touch the cable end and it cuts in and out. But the root process said it was completed successfully. I think it just didn't go through the cleaning process and left files over that caused a root loss of some sort.
It seems to be fine now.
Cm12 has it's own root, and is different from stock rom.
When device is in twrp recovery, it doesn't matter if Rom is Rooted or not.
Guessing it was a bad cm12 install, you didn't need to reflash firmware, just reboot to twrp, reinstall the Rom.
May need to redownload the Rom, and verify the md5 checksum.
To root Rom in twrp use
SuperSu flashable zip (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip - 28 Jan 2015)

if you look at my second post, I said I tried to install the SuperSU binary using recovery, and it did not do anything.
I just reinstalled the rom after wiping the partition to avoid any issues.

[PROBLEM] ROOT access

Hi there. Im currently at STOCK 5.0.2 (retail) with unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed. Ive installed ROOT from the guide in the main thread but ive updated the SuperSU app and now it asks
me to update de binaries but it constanly results in error. Ive reflashed the supersu via recovery but same issue. any solution without wiping and reflashing stock? thx,
Which version of superSU do you flash? 2.4.6? My first thought was delete/uninstall superSU with Titanium, check if everything´s gone with a file explorer, wipe cache/dalivk and reinstall superSU 2.4.6.

CF Auto Root Stuck

I recently flashed a Nougat ROM for my Note 5 (INFINITY ROM) and I unrooted the device to log into snapchat (I can't hide root because SuperSu can't do that and there's no xposed for Nougat). I did a full unroot, rebooted, logged into snapchat, rebooted and flashed CF Auto Root with Odin. Now it's stuck on Creating Paths and I've been waiting for 20 minutes. I tried flashing it multiple times and I'd rather not reflash the ROM again. Any tips?
any luck with this?

1)You have flashed nougat custom rom i.e.Infinity Rom right?
2)So you are rooted and having TWRP installed on your phone
3)Kindly go to the below posted OP, where you can find N920 SuperSU root no kernel included.zip>Go to twrp recovery>Flash the SuperSU zip>Reboot device
4)If it gives any error like bootloop then may be due to messing up with root as you tried odin flashing, In such case kindly flash latest stock firmware for your device model no and country again using odin again(Don't forget to enable oem unlocking and usb debugging from developers option)>Install TWRP again>Flash infinity rom>Unroot through SuperSU(Select full unroot>Select Continue>Select NO>Your device will reboot after unroot)>Setup your snapchat>Again go to TWRP>Flash SuperSU zip you will find in below Posted OP
**3 step will help you only as per my guess, if it helps no need to flash stock firmware or infinity rom again, Kindly test it and report**

There is no SU binary installed. Help

My device is BLU Dash X2 ( D110L ) running android 6.0 with Kernel Version 3.18.19.
It's an MTK phone ( MT6580 ).
I managed to port and flash TWRP custom recovery by myself and it's working find. So I decided to flash SuperSU.zip with it. Everything seem to be working perfectly but after the flashing finished and I tried to open SuperSU app a message pop up with text "There is no SU binary Installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem. If you just upgraded to android 5.0 you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!".
Please help me find a solution. I tried many version of SuperSU.zip already but the same message still appear. I also tried remove SuperSU app first before re-flash SuperSU.zip. I even tried to perform a clean stock rom flash before flashing latest SuperSU.zip and it's still the same.
I have the same phone, also managed to port TWRP, working fine after edit fstab, but no way I can root this device.
Tried with phh s SuperUser instead supersu, but no avail.
My biggest regret was buy this fone, it works fine but seems impossible to root.
Sorry for late update, you can root this device with magisk, successfully done with magisk v18.00

Super su Root Undetected

I have just updated supersu through the play store and am now getting "Root Undetected " when I open the app. My phone is a Galaxy gt i9305 running a stock based TouchWiz 4.4.4 rom any suggestions please?
So I had to restore a backup which uses the previous SuperSu 2.79 and all is well again. Looking at the reviews on Google play store I'm not the only one having problems with version 2.80. Will this problem be getting sorted anytime soon because this is an important app for me and my confidence in using it is draining fast.
There is a version 2.81 on Google playstore right now (although it's still saying v2.80) which works fine again for me.
Same deal here. Pretty upsetting, I don't have a backup handy. Does anyone have a link to the 2.79 version that can be flashed in TWRP? If I find it first I'll post it here for others' convenience.
Yes I had same problem just 10 min ago
But I downloaded the zip of new version reflashed it ,works perfect

This one is not working for me! Just like the latest 2.8! I flash it on four devices! one fails the other three claim it was successful but there is NO SuperSu on any of the devices that I tried flashing it on with TWRP! I cannot give apps root access and it is like a device that is not rooted that was rooted before!
Anything else to try??

I installed this version. It's not working.
Thing is you install 2.79 with TWRp, after reboot. I used Root Checker Basic and Root Checker, they say no root. If you try to open SuperSu app, it will update to version 2.8. Same problem no root.
I am using Asus Zenfone ze552kl
Having the same problem on my cm14.1.....is there a solution?
Same here bro. I tried all supersu zip version 2.67 to 2.82 sr5. Version 2.82 says root undetected and below this version says supersu can't install su binary. I tried to install su binary but it says no su binary.
