[CUSTOM ROM][TWRP][A5 2016] A510F - AOSP - MKROM | Almost Pure [29/1/2017]

Hi,
This ROM is based on Kyubi UX, and modified by me!
I allmost come to an AOSP version of Android, the single except is Settings app, but this will change tho to stock android settings app in the close future.
This is the first ROM I share, and it's not a .zip to flash, it's a backup to SYSTEM and BOOT partition, more easy to extract for me, cuz i don't know others methods.
System UI it's not GraceUx or TouchWiz, cuz it wouldn't look as aosp. It's Good Lock, by samsung too, but it's very nice and customizable, also look as AOSP.

-> Just unrar it, and copy BACKUPS folder into your phone in TWRP folder!

Here you can see the ROM running, and the first step you need to do after intial setup!
Before you make any call, make sure that you set as deafult the phone app, to do that, you need to go in Settings -> Aapplication -> 3 dot menu -> Default Application -> Call -> Check Phone | If you don't do that, when you make a call, it will call but u can't see any UI and you can't end the call.

It's not theme, no galaxy apps, just google (except settings for today, i will come back with update for them)

Awesome, but what is the base? And where is the source code? I think that you have to post the original source if you didn't make the rom completely by yourself, but don't quote me on that.

I don't have any sourse, i just install kyubi rom and modify it directly from phone...

I'm curious, but how did you enable cover art album lockscreen ? What did you modify to do this ?
This is a feature i really love but Samsung disable it.
EDIT: Ok, i just saw that i didn't have this feature because i activated the custom lockscreen wallpaper in good lock, and we can't make it work both

As soon as loads, it says "com.android.phone stopped" infinitely, freezing this app also doesn't help

I haven't understood how to install it. I extracted backups folder in twrp folder (system/emulated /0/twrp right?)

In your TWRP folder there is another folder call( Back up).in that Backup folder will be another folder by default just numbers eg:3300e77aa157.....,that is where you should paste the the files after you unrar.:good:

Could you add support for switching superuser? currently the only option is SuperSU and i'd like to switch to Magisk.

[MOD] Navbar mod for Z2 OREO Carbon rom [major update+flashable]

Guys I've managed to create a navbar mod for the oreo carbon rom developed by rcstar6696. As the oreo carbon rom aint complete with customisations at the present which we had at the time of nougat.
The mod is : changed navbar height from 48dp to 32dp
(there is no color, navbar button theme, etc changed)
Required:
1. TWRP recovery
2. Obviously the rom for which the mod is
Root is not required
Installation:
1. Reboot to TWRP recovery
2. Install the attached zip
3. reboot
Bugs:
No bugs at all
Based on the OMS overlay system of android
It can bootloop 1-2 times after applying new mod. Just be patient and let it boot.
Testers needed:
This mod may work on other phones or roms running android 8.0 as long as they have the same Ids in the android framework. Which is most likely.
So someone with other phones on android 8.0 or other roms on z2(8.0 only) too plz test this out and let me know.
I cant test because i dont have any other device.
Plz let me know if it works so i can create a universal mod too.
In case if it bootloops, revert back by-
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Mount system
3. Delete file "android.navbar_mod.apk" in system/vendor/overlay
4. Reboot
Also ive tried creating a dynamic navbar mod but it bootloops. So anyone with some info can help

I can modify the framework for that but im not sure if the system will accept it. As 30dp results in bootloop if substratum theme is applied pre mod.
So for complete hiding i suggest u use the custom navbar app on the playstore...:good:
And if u wanna test the 0 dp navbar mod ill create it for u let me know.:angel:

Here u go.
Backup ur original framework-res.apk and restore via twrp if anything goes wrong.
2nd tip - uninstall all substratum overlays and try again.

It works with 8.1 but in 8.1 the navbar icons scale with the navbar height so the back and the recents button become tiny as a dot. Functionality is not impaired though. Its 8.1 feature i dont think i can fix it.
But u can apply it and navbar will become small and at the same time use the pixel navbar app from playstore (with animation turned off in app) or use the custom navigation bar pro theme for the navbar(only available in pro).
The above apps apply a navbar button overlay and so u can see the buttons again. I'm using it the same way.

Thanks. Was looking for this? Before I install. Does this changes system frameworks? Because some framework module will not work cross build, eg. nov build vs oct build.
Edit : just installed and pixel bar is working, though the color 4 dot and the home circle button overlapping each other after activating google assistant. Also I didn't see any blue accent any where.

navbar animation we cant do anything, as a1 dosent support such function.. so i had to port the smali's from original pixel
blue accent getting clash with the A1 magisk prop module tweak.. if you disable that blue accent will work... i had to check the workaround for that..

I see, so it clashes with the Night light mod then. I'll try the older version where the prop doesn't include the nightlight mod.

I've attached a modified version of Sooti's A1 tweak which doesn't includes night light and can confirm that blue accent works. I'm not the original author of the tweak. I only remove the framework files and script from the original module. You will lose night light.
Edit : Well I spoke too soon. Seems like flashing my modded module and your pixel accent and animation module will still enable night light. I'm a happy man now.

almost everythings fine in this rom, highly customizeable also. but if i turn usb debugging on the charging from laptop or pc dsnt work. like adb dsnt detect. and the speaker gives broken sound effect if like theres water in the speaker. (tried both the custom kernel and the default one.) and is there any option to change the default camera app? coz i have seen a lot of RROS 6.1.0 version with advanced camera app with hdr , panorama etc support.
and please provide the gapps version.

Hi guys i installed this rom and i really love it but i have a probleme because bootloader is open i can't acces some apps and the only way is to lock bootloader and dont know if i can do it while keeping the rom or using magisk, Can i use it on this rom with huawei Y6 2018 col l21 ? and if yes how can i do it thanks in advance sorry for my bad english

Of course there will be bugfixes, my last test with TWRP worked except system flashing, I'm currently figuring out the bug.

3. Again go My Account> Customize Theme> Status Bar
4. Select any SM theme
- To change fingerprint animation goto

What does the magisk module do?

yes it change animation.. but if you don't like new animation.. just remove module from magisk you will back to stock

It doesn't work, tried both the files and doesn't work at all. The "Thunder" one just changes the fingerprint icon but not the animation.
Did you understand that I'm using stock Android 10 ROM and not MIUI?
