I have PureNExus with ElementalX kernel (latest versions). In batter usage AndroidOS is consistely keeping the phone awake. I installed a few battery monitor tools but can't get any useful info. Any help?

I just replaced the battery in my M8 and while the battery is fine with the screen off, while using the phone for normal activities, the battery drains about 1-2% every minute. Is that normal? My last battery was terrible and would die way quicker.
I run CPU tuner on a normal profile mostly and currently running GSAM to see what's draining it.
It seems to be the system and kernel using most of the battery
I've tried several roms/kernels and i have the same problem. The battery drops about a percent every minute or two while the screen is on. My phone maybe lasts 6 hours at best. Currently running the latest version of SkyDragon. Is there any type of diagnostic I could run on the battery to get more info. Does anyone have any advice?
Hello,
I didn't use my z3c since 6 month and I would like to know which rom is the best for battery life ? I actually have slim 4.8 on LL. My personal use is Youtube, web browsing and a little bit of game.
Thank you
Very battery friendly is xperience rom - with apps amplify, greenify and wakelock detector you can have battery much better

Your experience with this ROM ? How about SOT ?
it shows 65h 30m, but this is totally unusefull
battery drain depends on phone usage, not at some "calculated" numbers
i have got xperience rom v6 witch amplify (donated) + greenify (donated) + wakelock detector.
At 9.00 a.m. i unpluged the phone from charger and now, at 8.00 p.m i´ve got still 100%.
after 3 days since plug-off still have 51% battery with this usage: few sms per day, few calls, few emails, using chrome 5-15 minutes per day (using wifi, lte not mutch)
I have LineageOS 14.1 and SOT under 5-6 hours isn't possible with heavy use so switch quickly to it
I am running 7.1.2 and a few weeks ago I noticed my battery usage during idle went up drastically to ~5%/hour, with the phone just idle, airplane mode, on wifi. No Facebook, no bad apps, just very minimal. So I installed Wakelock detector and I see my cpu is being kept awake by Google play services. Turning off BT/GPS etc didn't make a difference. I'm running LOS with the Blackbird kernel.
So now I'm a bit lost. I know Android is extremely inconsistent and things like this can happen for no reason. I have no clue how to tackle this except reformat/try a new Rom.
I'm hoping someone can assist me. I can't seem to find much information regarding the "video2" kernel wakelock.
I just charged my phone to 100% over night. I have only used it for about 19 minutes and the battery is at 75%.
I am rooted, on the latest OOS - stock; running xposed and magisk (latest versions)
I have forcedoze and leandroid running and I also use wakeblock to limit some wakelocks.
I use an app called WLD (Wakelock Detector) - to show me what wakelocks are being used and I see one in particular that is "video2". What could this be?
video2 shows 3h 28m x1244 in WLD
PowerManagerService.WakeLocks shows 6m 20s x407
All the other kernel wakelocks are under 1m
leandroid should be turning off my network settings when the screen is off, and only turning it on hourly for 60 seconds to get the occassional notifications if there are any and then turn off again.
I am normally connected to WiFi and my location services (GPS) is turned on as well, but as I mentioned, when it's not in use leandroid should be powering them off.
I'm trying to figure out what is using up over 25% of my battery only after 19 mins of use. When I go into settings to look at the battery I see the following:
Screen Usage since full charge - 19m
Android system - 4%
Phone Idle - 2%
Android OS - 2%
Cell standby - 1%
Screen 1%

Thanks for the response, I exported all the logs from BBS. I ended up charging my phone to 100% again and then just left it doze for a bit and once again it eats through the battery idle.
I hope these logs help.
I am uploading screenshots from my phones battery and the BBS screens.
I have left my phone idle since yesterday. SOT is only 3 mins and I'm down to 61%. I would really appreciate any help I can get.
Well, I assume for those who had a look over this thread, you were as baffled by this issue as I initially was.
After a lot of trial and error, I believe I resolved my issue. To help others (in case other users run into a similar issue as I), I will write up a detailed summary of what I did to fix the issue and the apps I used. For now a quick summary.
I would like to bring up an interesting fact, and I'm not sure if my scenario is just an anomaly, but it turned out that the reason I was having this issue is because of having "doze mode" enabled in the developer menu. Apparently this setting conflicted with the battery saving apps I run such as forcedoze and leandroid.
If you use custom apps to save battery, make sure you disable force doze on your OP3T. I did a few other changes on my phone, but after disabling this option, I saw an immediate difference in my phone battery when it was idle and screen off. I only lost 1% battery in about 5 hours, whereas before it seemed less than 1 hour.
Hey guys,
I have been playing with quite a lot of miui 12 settings to some how decrease battery drain and come up with these settings.
1)settings/privacy l/usage and diagnostic
When i turned this off my battery drain spiked on average i am loosing 8-10% daily overnight is it correct?
2) settings/password and security/privacy
Here you will find two more setting user experience program and send usage diagnostic data.
My question is that about these two setting will turning off increase battery drain.
Also if you guys have any more tips do share it
Thanks for reading it
