i downloaded dis file to root my galaxy note n7000... but i am not able to xtract a .tar file from there as is required by odin... all i get is a .img file ... have tried all image readers bt unable to xtract... please help as to how to xtract .tar file from this ZIP

I tried your full ROM link several times, but it broke down in the middle several times.
Anyway I manage to find that the tool is just an easily downloadable exe. Thanks for your time.

OnePlus 5: The Chatroom
OnePlus 5: The Newsroom
These are a group and a channel created by me, open for everyone.
If you’re not familiar with Telegram, the Chatroom is a group, where everyone can talk. You can ask questions, discuss various topics and report your own findings there.
The Newsroom is a channel, where only admins can post messages. You can find all the recent updates there, so you don’t have to search through all the messages in the Chatroom.
How it worksEvery new update etc. gets announced on the Chatroom so it doesn’t get lost. You can get a push notifications for these if you want. Discussion about these (among other things) happens in the Chatroom. This information will then be added or updated to the Info Hub, and at this point you can find it in all 3 places.
I strongly recommend you join the group and the channel, as new stuff will usually be announced there first. I will be keeping an eye on this thread as well, but Telegram is my priority.
How to contribute to this?You have created a new ROM, found an interesting thread on XDA or the funniest review ever on YouTube and you're 100% sure it needs to be on this list? Or you simply found a typo or a stupid derp by our noobish maintainers?
The newbie way
Join The Chatroom on Telegram and report your findings there. Consider tagging any (or all) of the maintainers so the message doesn’t get lost.
The pro way
Fork this on GitHub, make your changes to the correct .md file and submit a pull request.
The goal is that the Info Hub will contain everything you need in one address, the Newsroom will have all the news first, just a Push notification away from you, and separated from other messages and thus easy to find, and the Chatroom will be the place for everyone to gather and chat. I hope I'll see you there!

If you are getting it from China then it will ship with HydrogenOS.

You might need to install other software to open this address.
The link it is trying to resolve is "tg://resolve?domain=op5discussion"
Any ideas?

Weird, link works fine for me. Make sure you have the app installed or Telegram isn't blocked by your ISP.

Hello, i have a redmi 9, i have flashed the 12.0.1 beta with android 11, i have also rooted it
I had three magisk modules installed, webview switcher, a smooth animations mod of the miui launcher and a terminal debloater module
I have unlocked the additional update settings, and clicked "reboot to recovery mode" , thats when this happened
It is now bootlooped and i cannot boot into fastboot or the stock recovery
It shows a blackscreen for a couple of seconds and then reboots
It is not out of charge
My bootloader is unlocked
The rom i have flashed is only avaible as a recovery flashable file (the miui pilot beta)
Cannot even turn the deivce off

Recovery not supposed by new fw and so you brock it when you try to reboot into recovery.in same way i brick my device . don't worries it can be fixed.just follow tutorial careful..

when i attempt to power the device off it just reboots. And what do i do after i disable the authentication?

After disabled authorization use sp tool to flash fastboot rom...

Sorry..go customer care if you don't have any knowledge about it..the telegram group is for redmi 9 so you should come and many people you find who help you lot..

you sure i use fastboot rom with SP flash tool? people use firmware. I am not sure if the fastboot rom has a scatter file

People flash firmware files with SP flash tool. Do i really flash the fastboot rom in sp flash tool?
I do not know what to flash in SP flash tool
Will flashing the firmware file restore it to the stock rom?
Does the firmware version have to much the rom it was running before??
