Hello, I used to play pokemon go a lot, but as it got harder and harder to continue playing and using root + xposed that I use in a daily basis on my phone I lost interest in the game.
But now I'm trying to get back playing, so do you guys know if there is anyway to play Pokemon Go and still keep xposed and root? I tried searching, but everything I found was inconclusive and not to recent so I hope is ok to start this new thread.

Perhaps you could use systemless xposed .. Then in magisk you select pokemon go to hidden from root and uncheck xposed...
You could try... Also you can add root clock module in xposed an add pokemon go

I'm not very sure but maybe magisk could be helpful. I got magisk 14 on my xiaomi 5 and can pass the saftynet test with a module "universal saftynet fix", going well with Pokemon go. Still waiting for the systemless xposed for MIUI.

Since there isn't anything directed towards having xposed framework in the sprint s7 I thought maybe it'd be good to have for people who are new (such as myself) or experienced to gain info on how to use xposed, what modules are actually fully compatible with our device, half compatible, etc. If posting screenshots be sure to include the module name and anything in the module that doesn't work.
Xtouchwiz is fully functioning and the lucky patcher besides those i only use youtube adaway and background play. Id be interested in hearing about other modules that are working with our phones as well.
Hey, I just rooted mine a few days ago, and as soon as I installed Xposed, I also installed and set up Flat Style Bars Indicators Pro, as well as YouTube AdAway, and they are working great. Haven't had any problems with any of them.

i have gravitybox for some little tweaks, installeropt for installing apks faster and uninstall faster, lucky patcher, root cloak for some apps, xposed pokemon, and youtube swipe and adaway and back ground playback, ive noticed some will cause lag and instability so i advice caution when getting modules

I had lag too. But then i reflashed to stock and redid the the root process. The only different thing i did this time was as soon as i got root i smart installed busybox. Runs smooth with no lag noticeable what so ever. Now only if we could get a twrp up and running like our asian counterparts. I saw how far advanced their treads are and i was so jealous. :"(

what zip and apk are you using. i tried doing it with xposed-v87.1-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-20161125.zip but i cannot find the apk for it. Maybe im missing something here

The apk isn't too important it had me just update after I installed it on my op5 but it could have done that because nougat xposed uses a different app not sure.

The only thing is it went up to 87 and yours is 85 but what i want to know from you is does yours still say by wanam when it updated.

Ok yeah im using the same thing except im on QE1 and im getting signal lose here and there. im going to update then root. thanks for your help.
I'm on rooted g930u,QG1 Firmware.
Xposed (26-07-17-xposed-v87-sdk24-Xposed-by-PurifyOS) keeps closing when trying to download any modules. Apps also keep closing.
After uninstalling xposed everything works perfectly again.
Any ideas how to get it working?

There are tools to hide super user for banking apps etc. You can try them, maybe it works.

I didn't try any xposed module or app to hide root but it seems that it doesn't work for users who tested that. People talk about "magisk" but i never test this and i don't sure how install it.
Finally i achieve to install magisk and it works perfectly!

saw from other posts that RootCloak doesnt work.
Even the Approved Apps for RootCloak doesnt include Pokemon GO
I use magisk with bliss and it works so i didn't try rootcloak, but i don't achieve to unroot nuclearom in order to flash magisk. Any advice?

Unlike on nougat, Xposed installs and works just fine on 8.1.
Install zip in twrp. It takes a while to reboot. Install apk, open app. It says not activated. Reboot.
Once done, you can download the modules. Granted only a few work, it's still better than nothing. I have greenify and double tap status bar to sleep working.
You can search Oreo in the download section for the mods that work on Oreo.
Waiting and hoping for gravity box Oreo.
Download arm64 zip and apk. Cheers.

Tried it today. YouTube fc unfortunately. Just uninstall the module. I've been using the arter97 youtube installer. An ad slips in once in a while. Just switch to another video and come back to it. Ad will be gone.

Use iytbp youtube magisk module....u will get no ads ...illl get it in black theme too

guys I own nexus 6p, have oreo 8.1 Jan security patches with xposed framework installed but immediately after installing xposed for oreo ,most apps start stopping,some google play services stopped working , I do cleared cache/ART through TWRP advanced wipe also cleared google play services cache and data right after 1st boot post xposed framework installation but still facing same issues.
I really like gravity box,Xinsta etc modules but cant use it now...please suggest and advise.

Old module or the one developer is reviving? I have no idea about the revival one but old one working on my 6p. You could try the option in gravity box Oreo.
Hey all, no idea where else to post this, i rooted my phone and everything is fine (except for lucky patcher not working at all), im using magisk hide for certain apps and games like pokemon go, super mario run and mario kart tour, all 3 of these games crash/close/will not work, with a rooted phone thats NOT using magisk hide. All 3 of these games work fine its just pokemon masters not working.....Its it an incompatibility issue? Magisk hide is clearly working as intended.
Using EU version of the phone on android 9 with MIUI Global 10.3.3 stable.

Never played pokeman, so can't give definite answers.
Have you hidden Magisk itself? Are you on the latest Magisk 20.1?
If both of these are true, then someone with experience of getting pokeman working on this phone will need to step in.

hidden magisk and am on the latest build yes.
Delete or rename your TWRP folder and it will work.

first of all, hide magisk app itself (rebuild with random package name, its in Magisk settings). clear play store and play services data and reboot, then check again
if still not working, you can try Xposed modules like XPrivacyLua or SudoHide
