[APP] Substratum patched for not requiring TouchWiz addon - Galaxy S6 Themes and Apps

So, everybody who wants to use substratum on touchwiz is required to buy an addon from the google play store for two dollars. I don't like that. The themers don't benefit from it, nor was samsung support a huge problem to get going. I patched out the requirement for it, and am uploading the apk for it.
This does NOT:
-Remove any piracy checks
-Support piracy
This DOES:
-Allow you to theme your Samsung without the two dollar addon
Now before people get all up in arms about this, I'm legally able to do this. The code is released under GNU GPLv3, and I can make modifications all I'd like as long as I share the source. (Here, for reference)
You'll need to uninstall the default substratum app and replace it with mine, other than that, it's the same app. As Substratum updates, I will too.

NEW RELEASE: Mod edit: link removed
Since Sub's dev said this, I had to patch again to make it look like it has TouchWiz addon installed

Now it looks like this:

It's one thing to take GPL-licensed work and remove the requirement for the add-on app. It's entirely another to make it look like it's an "official" release so as to try and get support from the substratum team, when they specifically said they won't support modified builds.
Thread closed.
Please do not contact the OP regarding the patched version, as he will not be distributing it.

Lava themed HTC IME keyboard mod.

So, I was bored this morning and I created a skinned HTC IME mod using Gimpsta's theme generator found here: http://www.gimpsta.com/themerlo/main.php
I did it using a key template I made and a simple filter using GIMP 2, along with the "transparent" key options on the themer. Hoping to make a tutorial soon on how I did it cause it's pretty cool.
Here is what it looks like. (download link below screenshots)

Amazing Work! Im gonna try this as soon as my phone comes back from repair
That is god damn horrible.
Niclas90 just be warned, since the "buttons" are made on the background image itself, the compact QWERTY and the number/symbol boards don't line up well, but if you rarely use those, like myself, then you may not mind it.
Detol Loki, I am sorry you do not like it. I know it is a crazy design, but on my phone it is actually perfectly legible with the background. But I understand not everyone will like it.
Lastly, if any mods wouldn't mind. I posted this on android forums too and was told I couldn't post the link to the IME since it isn't part of the open source stuff. Please let me know if this is an issue here as well. It never crossed my mind before, since I have seen so many links all over the place to modded IME's. If it is a problem please accept my apologies and remove the download link from my post. My goal is not to cause any trouble anywhere.

More Information :
Hello,
Here is my first WP7 application!
It's still under construction but I'm posting here to get some feedback from users...I made it for myself at first, I may push this to the official marketplace later (free of course).
Comments (positive and negative) are welcome as well as help (design, idea, code optimizations, ...)
Hope some will like this!
See ya',
DarkAngel
I will update this post with release updates!
I don't know why no one has reply but it seems like a good app. I'll try it when I get a moment

The link appears to be down, shame I was interested in testing this. My employer is getting more and more interested in time justification. Sounded like just the thing to do the job for me.

How is does this differ from the one that StevenDeb is already working on?
Is there a change log somewhere?
i read in the thread for his GB miui build that its based on a february build.....?
and that some of the menus were in chinese.....?
i doutb this build is as polished as steve's, but worth a shot for a review maybe
Somebody tried it ?
Yes I tried it but too many things were in chinese. Don't have anything against chinese except that I can't read it. lol
this one is actually good.
many bugs in stevendeb' build are nonexist.
The voice search works, you can mount both sdcards to pc without resorting to 3rd party apps,
, there's also a 3rd option with usb mount: portal and tools (though i didn't fig out how to use it),
and led colors option (didn't test).
the downside is the font, unwanted built-in apks, no ics western latin ime (only one moto ime with english support ), and no change logs.
It should come with aroma installer like steven's.
didn't go deep with this rom yet. I hope others give it a shot when have time.
btw, pls upload to a better host(such as multiupload), depositfiles is really slow here.
does the camcorder work in this build?
and yes, please add a mirror host

[APP][4.3+] Active Display

}
After receiving many requests to make Active Display available to more devices as a standalone solution, I decided to give it a try. For those that are unfamiliar with this, I developed an open source alternative to Motorola's implementation of active display found on the Moto X. It originally appeared in ChameleonOS and I provided others with the necessary commits to incorporate this feature into other ROMs. That original thread can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2450697.
After quite a bit of work I have managed to get most of the features found in the original implementation into a standalone app that should work on any device running Android 4.3 and up. So for those of you that have wanted to give Active Display a try but are not on a ROM that has it integrated, your wait is over. I've created two variants of the app on Google Play. One is a free download and is supported via in-app adds and the second is a paid version which is free of all ads. If you know how to build ROMs, you can always check out the thread regarding incorporating Active Display into your ROM, which would be the equivalent of the ad free paid app.
Now for the links to the apps!
Active Display (ad supported)
Active Display (ad free)
Working on Android is a labor of love but sometimes it is nice to be compensated for all the hard work. The original implementation will remain free and open source while I continue development on the stand alone version to help bring this feature to more devices running stock and custom ROMs.
Can you please explain what Active Display does exactly again? thanks!

Hi-Tech UI is an android widget especially made for all those sci-fi fans who loves to have to cool gadget in their hand which they can control. It basically fills the void as you can see all the important info right at your screen without ever going to another application. It also contains live animations to give you the authentic look and most importantly each pane serves a purpose. You can open the specific app just by tapping on its hotspot. It is now officially available for Android with all new live animations.
I will suggest you to watch the Video Demo as I have also added 6 live animations to a widget.
