Hello everyone

I made this thread so that other users can discuss which is the best rom for G901F in terms of battery life.
It will save users the hassle of installing roms and then testing them for weeks to find out which is best.
So let the discussion begin!
Cynogenmod
I installed cynogenmod 12.1 where the battery life was not great, however then went back to cynogenmod 12 and battery life was much better. However after using the rom for a couple of months i have seen a steep decline in battery life even when phone is sleeping.
What is other users opinions on other roms?

Did you recalibrate the battery after updating to 12.1?
I use Simple GX Rom 1.4.1 with Kernel.
Battery life is very good. Nearly 0%/h in deep sleep.1-2% over night (9h)
I tried Nova 1.3 with stock kernel. Batterylife was a little bit lower than SimpleGX.
About 0,7%/h in deep sleep.
With Stock BOH4 Rom (Tmobile) i have lost 15-20% over night
Hey guys just a quick question,
as the title says,
What's the best rom for battery life, smoothness and updates?
I'm on Ressurection remix right now,
But I interested on Pure nexus project too.
Which one is better?
Or are there any other roms to recommend that are better than those?
Thanks!

no such thing as best rom for battery life. battery life is determined by your use, your setup, your choice of apps inatalled, and your signal quality.
Pure Nexus for smoothness and updates. Battery life can be great on Pure Nexus depending on usage. I'm getting 6-7 hrs SOT with PN and ElementalX.
Hi there,
I've got an OnePlus 3t the last week and i'm very happy so far.
My previous phone was the HTC One M8 and i decided to buy a new phone caused by it's very poor battery performance.
I tried OxygenOS first, did all OTA updates to the latest version and unlocked bootloader, flashed root and so on.
OxygenOS is a great rom compared to other OEM roms.
But there are still some things missing, i really want to use.
So i decided to go back to LineageOS.
Everything works fine except the battery life.
I'v read a thread about this in the oneplus forums with a very good battery life on LineageOS, even better than stock.
But where are the magic 8h+ dot?
The screenshots were taken from nougat, i'm running oreo.
Is that the big deal?
On my m8, battery life didn't change on 14.1 to 15.1
What is your experience?
I've had no Battery issues on LOS 14.1 or 15.1. I had nasty drain on OOS Oreo builds, which is why i switched.

Mhhm very interesting.
Thank you for your feedback
give it some time , must be calibrating. mine was draining pretty fast to at start now it's good again and it's definitely better than OOS in term of battery performance but you will experience lag some times which wasn't case in OOS
Tried some oreo roms and went because of the battery back to nougat. Best SOT I had with sultanized RR from Droidfreak. The best: it is still updated because of sultans and RR's work on Nougat.

(best with stock kernel)
Hey guys
i need to which would be the best rom for battery life and performance for xiaomi mi 5 . I tried using lineage os but didnt have a great time with it. Yesterday i changed it to viper os and its super snappy and around 6 hours battery life with light usage. I wanted to know is there a better rom than this before making viper my daily driver.
Thank you
At now I use paranoid android, oreo for now is instabily for me. with her I got 3/4 of sot!
Viper which version? 6 hours for mi 5 is best man
Hey Nicko
I use the latest viper os.
I prefer android aosp look and features. I want a rom that is battery friendly, im currently on pixel experience but im only getting 3h SOT, versus 5-6 with oxygen os. So im looking for a rom with good battery or a solution like magisk mod or something involving root like custom kernel etc.
My battery is at 80% health as per Accubattery.
I had better battery/performance relation with Paranoid Android
YAAP is good too, i need to test it with heavy tasks, but theres no noticeable overnight drain
