Rooting cause warranty loss?
Hi everyone,
New to this forum.
Bought Limited edition honour 4x Nice to have such a great thing in hand.
I am a big fan of rooting as it (use PCs internet to phone) saves my money a lot
I have seen in many of rooting procedure, it is mentioned that rooting will cause the warranty loss.
But I have seen many of you have already rooted. Does the warranty loss holds true to this mobile if rooted?

Download the Rootgenius.
Download the Rootgenius,search from google and install in your pc and connect your phone,be sure that usb debugging is on when you are connecting your phone to pc.One thing is that you have working internet connection on your pc because this root software download some usb driver file of few mb.You root your mobile in less than three minutes.

hi guys i succesfully done bootloader unlock on fastboot mode (huawei honor 4x phone)
now i have a question how to installl
TWRP 2.8.4.0 recovery.img file on phone i have to use fastboot mode and install teamwin s/w via adbtoll (fastboot) mode
r there is an other way pls guide me thx i am doing this reading tis post thx

I have got the unlock code from huawei for my CHE1-L04 (india version). Can someone post a newbie step by step instruction with screen shots to how to use the unlock code to unlock the phone and rooting process also. This will help so many users in the Indian sub continent.
I have rooted my device successfully by using the steps in http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/huawei-honor-4x-inidan-edition-che1-l04-t3099308. There is no need to visit the 03 links given in starting of the thread, if you have unlock code of your device.
struck in bootloop, urgent help needed
i just rooted my mobile unsuccessfully. it got struck on bootloop. i saw it somewhere else and found that bootloader unlock wasn't required for indian version. now i have rebooted it in fast boot.
please can anyone tell me which files to download and how to flash them since the mob struck in bootloop after i restarted it or else there was no problem with root. i already tried clear cache and data but it didnt help in any way.

yeah sir i know , but my frb is locked and even cant enable in settings , oem option is untouchable , it cant be enabled , please help , wht should i do , and also i am on kingvip rom

you have now FRP-Lock ?
have you twrp/backup from last state (before install kangvip)
then test twrp/restore and look if phone work FRP=unlock
it is better if you need help - give more info : what is your build ? LLD-xxxxxxxx / what is delivered OS ( first delivered "7.xx", current "8.xx")

No sir i don't have backup of last state. And i can't go to twrp as i installed stock recovery
My build is 8.0.0142 c675 indian version
Now there is another problem now. I searched for solutions and got the answer as to relock bootloader. Then i relocked it with fastboot cammand. Now the phone is bricked and restarting to erecovery after honor logo. Currently status is phone relocled and frp lock in fastboot.
Please help

sorry, now you have big problem !
Relock Bootloader is the greatest Bull**** by phones ! (my opinion !) if you relock bootloader WITH damage-rom you have a "damage-phone" !!!
please search "repair bootloop with bootlooder relock".
for future if your phone again work
- unlock bootloader AND let it open
- download your build FULL-Update (now you have backup for repair - if needed)
this 2 point's is very important
i think you have 1 chance to self-repair : search "recovery_ramdisk_BKL-L04_nocheck.img"
but - this is no simple. you must read and understand before you do ! I DONT KNOW if this work for you !!!

that's the point. if user install dev-rom and this work not 100% good AND then relock bootloader ...
if now bootloader locked - you need "fastboot flash oem unlock your-unlock-code"
if you have FRP-lock you dont can "fastboot flash xyz"
my friend have many "help me" from other user with this problem
he found the way with "recovery_ramdisk_BKL-L04_nocheck.img" and say - this work only if on phone twrp installed BEFORE error AND boot to twrp work

Well, I think @Snober can still revive his H9L by flashing a stock firmware using a paid service such as dc-unlocker bypassing the frp lock.

i dont know if dc-unlocker work with frp lock.
but i think it is a test worth - only it cost 15€ (ca. 15$) (if not work only 15€ lost - new phone cost 230€ [in germany])
i think if it's not work, dc-unlocker rewrite money to user-account. but my last dc-unlocker use a little time before now

For future reference: Stock ROM appears to require a network connection in order to enable FRP, so, connect with WiFi and it should become touchable.

Hi, guys. Such an unpleasant thing happened to me today. I have received my new xiaomi mi 9... But it has came with unlocked bootloader so i have locked it. And when i locked it then the phone got stuck on the recovery mode saying "this miui version can't be installed on this device" but it already came with this MIUI i did not change nothing i just wanted to lock the bootloader. Now i am bricked and i can't do nothing, i have tried to wipe all data, but did not help...
Does anybody know what can i do in this case?

Thank you very much for help. I have read both but unfortunately i can not UNLOCK my bootloader… when i was trying to unlock the bootloader through MI UNLOCK, it says "Current account is not bound to this device". Otherwise if this was succesful and i could unlock it, then it would be easy i believe.

Since you locked the boot loader, you'd have to flash (with fastboot) using the same flavor of miui which was installed. (example: chinese or eu variation), otherwise you won't be able to boot.

Yes, that i understood… There was EU variation with unlocked bootloader, which i do not know why, but okay…
But now i can not unlock it, it says, when i try to unlock it though fastboot with mi unlock, it says "Current acount is not bound to this device, ADD your acount and device in MIUI"s setting > developer options> mi unlock status.. but obviously i can not do it since i can not turn on my phone, its stuck on recovery mode.

When i choosed "my device is bricked i want to unbrick it" it says, this option is not available yet..

First of all you need chinese mi assistant
Second you need try three versions of roms(eeu , china , global) but im pretty sure that your phone is chinese version that bought from gray market and they unlock bootloader to install global rom
After you download these tell me, i guide you
Be sure download recovery rom (not fastboot)
It has .zip extension not tgz

If you know how to sideload the rom then everything is become okay dont worry
After successful debrick you must bound you mi account to your phone and wait for bl unlock then reflash with mi flash tool and global rom
AND DONT LOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER AGAIN

It's called 'miflashpro'. It can be hard to find the English version. I did eventually but actually unbricked my Mi9 with the Italian version.

I am having the same probelm. .i have accidently locked the bootloader and now stuck in recovery loop. And can not unlock bootloader as i didnt bind my account. Can u plz share the link of miflashpro

I did the same thing with a Mi CC9 relocked the bootloader by mistake thinking it was like any other android phone. Did you have a Xiaomi account associated with the phone and signed into after enabling oem unlock in developer options.
If tha'ts the case you can use https://en.miui.com/unlock/ tool from where but it checks your phone number to see whether its associated with mi unlock.
Otherwise you will have to use EDL method which involves disassembling back of phone and shorting out two pins to initialize EDL data transfer but you need a EDL associated account this (belief xiaomi has revoked everyone access to these)

When close the phone they suprised me and working good.After 10 hours again close and bricked. I try sake and again open .So....the real problem its not CPU and motherboard but some connector dont touch good. Sory for my English. I just bought mi 11 ultra unlocked bootloader and its converted to global rom
So what i did .. i flashed another global rom version but by mistake i relocked the bootloader
now cant boot it say cant boot this firmware
cant flash in fastboot again
cant unlock bootloader again i dont know what mi user and password
cant flash in recovery i tried Xiaomitool but couldn't find official Chinese firmware
Any way to fix this ?

Never lock the bootloader when flashing a non original ROM. You may now need to find someone who can perform an edl level flash. Just look at other posts, they do mention who to contact but it will cost a few dollars.

Your case is more easy than was mine. Just reflash the original ROM, unlock, and flash the global.

I just found a guy fixed it in EDL mode remotely (Paid service )

are you sure you can't flash?
You said your phone can't boot, get into fastboot, download the oficial fastbook rom to your smart, and just re-flash using the cable

Edl flashing is easy (if we are talking about the same thing), you just need an original rom and the software. But yeah, not sure if that exists for the Ultra out there..
Software is MiFlash or something like that IIRC.

Yes I paid someone and with the appropriate tools unbricked my mi 11 ultra
But I do not have the contact anymore.
